Potentially since new ownership has taken over, Surgis is no longer a trustworthy company. They have showed a lack of integrity and professionalism that goes beyond what I have ever experienced with a company. 1. They installed our system and we have spent 15K+ with them over the years. We have always had Surgis upkeep our system and have trusted them to do a good job. 2. We noticed moisture in the attic and asked Surgis to look into it. They improperly diagnosed the issue and the result ended up creating mold around our vents. We payed 1600 in mold remediation and drywall repair. 3. They properly diagnosed the problem and admitted it was not addressed correctly and this should have been caught during the install process. When given the quote for the work, we asked for a price reduction since this was a quality control issue on their end. 4. A manager called us and stated this was a discounted price even though this was not noted on the paperwork. During these conversations, Scott hung up on us.we requested calls from upper management but never received a call back. We really just wanted the issue resolved and decided to proceed to schedule the work with Surgis. 5. When we received the breakdown of the work, we noticed the cost of the vent covers which we already had purchased prior to. We called asked if they could use ours to help reduce price. Instead, they canceled the work and said they would never work on our unit even though we currently have a warranty with them. After calling back to try and get the work scheduled, they stated they no longer had the technical staff to do the job. 6. After getting quotes from other companies, the prices we were getting were significantly less, showing that Surgis lied about a discount or they are just majorly price gouging all customers. We also asked other companies if they would be able to do the work quickly since Surgis made it seem so technical. All other companies told us anyone who installs a system or does duct work needs to know how to do the work we needed or customers would be dealing with the moisture that we found ourselves with. 7. I called Surgis back as a final attempt to get management to work with us and was told we have your information they wouldn’t take any additional information for me. My tone wasn’t heated and I asked the phone rep to please just take the notes and request a call from upper management and she hung up on me. If Surgis was truthful in their reason to cancel the work on our unit, they currently don’t have the staff that has the skills to properly install AC units. If you have Surgis install your unit and find errors, they will not work to resolve the issue and will likely charge you more than necessary for repairs. You would think some upper management would have intervened but that never happened. I get that other staff was probably sick of us calling to talk about our issue, but hanging up on customers is not how to deal with it. If upper management had called, we wouldn’t have needed to keep following up. I cannot warn people enough about this company. Stay away.

It went excellent, excellent. Brandon was professional, answered all my concerns and question. I like and appreciated that he has a personable side to him, relaxing and made me feel important. Replace first floor A/C and heating

The response was immediate, faster than expected. Arrived exactly on time as promised with the quote and financing prepared in less than thirty minutes. Pricing was much Beth than my established vendor. Work performed exactly as promised in less time than expected. Highly professional and courteous in each step.

I was very pleased with the service.

The technician was able to quickly diagnose the problem, which turned out to be a clogged condensate drain line. He cleaned the drain plumbing and was able to have the system running smoothly.

Art came out to give us an estimate.... he was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave a competitive bid (we had other bids). The installation was done by Mario and Chad...very professional and excellent quality. The unit they replaced was in a very difficult location and they were not phased at all by this. We were very impressed with Surgi's.

I tried to fix it myself but apparently I had cleaned the backup secondary line instead of the primary. He took care of the issue in minutes and it has worked fine since.

It all works, Must have gone well. I have yet to go into the hot attic to check out the work,. I have no doubt they did a good job as I am a repeat customer---they installed the downstairs system three years ago. They both work well and my electricity bill has gone down!!

Great. The technician knew what he was talking about and provided great service.

They stole $30,0000 worth of jewelry from my house. It was terrible, they were the worst I could have ever used. I told them what had happened and they sent a man to check the freon. No condolences, nothing. They haven't even called me back. They told me they fired the guy who did it.

They did a great job providing the quote. It was inline with everything else. They were timely and professional. It seemed like a good thorough quote.

LM with the answering service late Sunday night. Surgi's called promptly Monday morning and scheduled to come out 3-5 pm on Monday. Service technician called around 12:30 pm and said he will be there in 20 minutes. Branden diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes. Replaced the capacitor and the A/C was up and running again. Professional company, from the answering service, scheduling desk all the way to the service technician.

Great service - weekend job - completed in 2 hrs.

They are great! I'm not sure about their pricing. I didn't call anyone else because I like their work. I thought it was expensive, but maybe that kind of repair is expensive. So that I don't know. I'm pretty sure they arrived within their window. The sent out one person and it took about 40 minutes. It wasn't very long at all. They seem like they knew what they were doing. They diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. But then they found some other problem. It really wasn't like they were trying to sell us something but they identified two problems for the bad quality air.

I got 3 estimates to replace my entire A/C system along with the duct work. Chose Surgi's due to the good rating. I was not disappointed. From Art, the salesman, to the 2 installers and Craig the owner. They went above and beyond to make sure it was done on time, correctly, professionally and to my satisfaction.

Very professional..called before he arrived.. My technician was Brandon. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing and brought me out to the unit to show me. I will for sure use them again. Thanks Brandon and Surgi's!

It went great, they did a very good job, and finished on time.

A huge cost when you can buy a complete new one for what I needed for around the same price.

They were prompt and professional. They came on time, did the work and cleaned up after themselves. They took care of everything. I did not have to do a thing.

They have been excellent. I will continue to use them.

Didn't receive service. They want $98 to come out and quote you on your issues without doing any work at all. Didn't want to give me a window for an appointment the next day or tell me when they were going to call to tell me what that window would be.

I was very pleased that they were able to service us on day 1. They went the extra mile for us and that was really great. They gave us the cost information on repair versus replacement. We chose the repair and they got right to it. Both their sales and service personnel were nice, polite and professional. Our A/C was back on by the middle of the day.

As stated above we have contracted with Surgi for maintenance every year since the unit was installed in 2011. Beginning in 2013 contract and continuing th 2015 Surgi performed one visit it seems based upon the contract dated 6 13 2013 which balled for 2 visits from June 2013 to June 2014. Then we had a visit in December 2014 after paying for 2015. And visits at all in calendar year 2015. I did make payment to continue the service into 2016. But I have cancelled after discussing the situation with Surgi and they agreed with me that it looked like they owed us 3 visits or more based upon their records. However despite 4 phone calls in December and each time being told that someone would get back to me and a lengthy email I sent to them on January 5 2016 no additional maintenances were scheduled. So I gave up. Our experience with Surgi has been unsatisfactory. We had to repair leaks in the plenum which as part of their proposal to provide us a new system was replaced and and guaranteed leak free. The leaks caused cold air to be leaked into attic which contributed to water dripping from the vents and condensation to form on the drip pan causing ceiling damage. On top of this the proposal called for Surgi to replace the emergency drip pan. We have since learned that the pan in place is in excess of ten years old at least. I wanted to discuss these items with Surgi before writing this review. But they simply would not respond. Just as a warning, we are seniors and after review of other maintenance contracts in which one pays in advance for a specified number of visits per year I learned that they are rarely fulfilled by the contractor. I have similar problems with 2 other contractors and I have resolved my issues with them with reimbursements. Overall this is a buyer beware situation with prepaid contracts. Just do not do them. Every month there are Angie's list suppliers who provide cleaning and maintenance checks. I have now started using these offers to handle my routine maintenance. Do not be confused by claims that the maintenance contract gets you discounts and speedier service. This was not our experience. The discounts were applied once in a while and repairs took as much as two months. I have settled with Surgi who read this review. He agreed that he was at some fault. He paid me for not performing maintenance in 2015 and for the charges relating to the faulty weld which caused the freon leaks.

They're excellent - they're the ones to call!
