Description of Work: Service covered full preventive maintenance of 4 ton air conditioning unit. Price covers preventive maintenance twice a year.

Description of Work: Fixed my heater. I had actually put a request in on Mardi Gras online and someone had called me back within 15 minutes and offered to come that day. I asked them to come Wen instead. I got a range of time which was inconveient but they came and did a great job.

Description of Work: My heat went out when our weather first started to turn cool in Nov 2014. I called Surgi's and they were able to evaluate the problem, recommend ALL my various options. Since my unit was quite old, I decided to move on to a new system so they worked with me to give me all my available choices (no pressure sales) and the caveats and pluses of each choice. The only delay was ME, deciding which direction I wanted to go in. Once I decided (very late in the afternoon I might add) on a new Trane energy efficient system, they started the next morning. By the end of the next day, they had the system running so that we'd be warm for the first cold night of the year. They did have to return once or twice to get my new thermostat working properly and to calibrate the A/C side of the system (it was too cold to do it properly while the weather was cold). |I decided to hold off on replacing my old duct work to save $1500 off the total cost for now. They said they could come back and install that at a later date...whenever I was ready. I noticed just the other day when I was in the attic that the two installers repositioned my current old duct work and I think it has helped with airflow. This will buy me some time to pay down/off this new system and then I plan to call surgi's again to put in my new air tight duct work. :)

Description of Work: Had a leak in my attic A/C unit that was dripping onto my celing and return air vent. Service person came on a Sunday and smeared sealant all over the duct seam also blew out the drain (was there for 2 hours...) One hour later leak started again. Came back the next day and blew out line again. 45 min. later leaking again. Now the sheetrock in ceiling and return air vent had started to mold and sag. Went without A/C for a week and had a large bowl collecting water in the return air vent. Another service person came and blew out the line again and also told me that the drain line to the sewer line was probably a little too long. After he left an hour later had more water coming in. Had enough... went to the hardware store and ran an all new drain line myself as well as repaired all the damaged sheetrock myself. $175 service call, 3 visits, and more damage than what I started with... NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Description of Work: Surgi's is fantastic! They came to our house at the last minute on a Saturday to check out our broken AC unit. Within a couple of hours, we knew the diagnosis and our unit was fixed by lunch time Monday. They were quick, professional and friendly! We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: John from Surgi's came out on short notice to analyze and service the heating/air unit in the older house I recently bought.He was unusually conscientious. He spent time servicing the system and showing me what is involved and the regular maintenance that is possible for me to do. The thermostat control was not functioning well. He had two different replacement units on the truck for a similar price. He stated which one he liked best. The existing filter in the unit was the wrong size. He informed me of the correct size and after checking with me called his office and had them order the correct replacement. This is a large older house with very different volumes of air going to each room. He worked very hard to equalize the air flow.

Description of Work: I went to their website for their telephone number. I could not reach them; the phone was disconnected. I tried over several days. I emailed from their website, but no one responded. Are they still in business?

Description of Work: He had to replace something in my a/c unit. It was making a horrible grinding sound. The only problem was that he had to order the part. The part came in the next day, and he promptly replaced it. I was very impressed with the service.
