JUDSON SERVICE

This guy (Travis Judson) is a con man; he?s very nice and
will give you a thousand excuses why something is not right. I can tell you
that he does not care about your property and I would not let him within 1000
ft.of my property. He will lie until he gets what he wants (your money) and you
will never see him again. Below is my story:
On Friday November 1st 2011 I hired Travis Judson
to repair problems with the drywall in my house and to paint all of the trim,
walls, ceilings, doors, and cabinets (excluding the garage).  On November
1st 2011 the drywall
repair work started, at which time I paid Travis Judson a $150 deposit. On
November 6th the drywall repairs were still not completed correctly
so Travis Judson informed me that he was going to start painting even though
the drywall repairs weren?t completed, so I remitted a deposit of $750 as per
our contract. On November 8th 2011 and after numerous inspections of
the drywall repair work, it was still unacceptable. There were areas with no
texture, very visible uneven areas that weren?t sanded properly and drywall mud
and texture on the floors, windows, counters and bath tubs.  At this time
on November 8th 2011
Travis Judson informed me that the person that he hired to repair the drywall
would no longer going to be working in my house and that another one of his
employees would completing the drywall repairs as the painting was being
performed, so at this time I remitted the remaining $500 for the drywall
repair. On November 17th (5 days over schedule and 1 day before I
was scheduled to move in) I met Travis Judson at my home to discuss the fact
that the drywall repairs were still were just as they were on November 8th
except Travis Judson and his employees had painted over the bad repairs. Travis
Judson and I came to the agreement for me to hold $487 to have another
contractor come in and complete the drywall repairs and for Travis Judson to
come back and repaint the completed drywall repairs. Also at this time on
November 17th Travis Judson convinced me to remit the remaining
payment (minus the $487) of $2500 because ?he needed the money to pay his
guys?. On November 18th Travis Judson and had come to the agreement
that he would clean my entire house including floors, all cabinets (tops,
inside, and outside), bath rooms and base boards for a cost of $250. At 1:40 pm
on November 18th Travis sent me a text message informing me that the
Cleaning and painting was complete and for the next hour tried to convince me
to pay him before I saw the work, this time I did not. On November 18th
at 10 pm I arrived at my house with a moving truck full of my possessions and
when I saw my house I couldn?t believe what I was seeing, the problems were as
follows:
Paint on the my new floors
        
Ceiling not painted
    
No caulk on baseboards or windows
        
Paint on windows
      
Crown molding not painted
No caulk on crown molding
       
Base boards not sanded
    
Base boards had dirt and drywall texture painted
on them
         
Window sills have dirt painted on them
   
 No caulk on Window sills
      
Cabinets have dirt and brush bristles painted on
them
        
Cabinets have very bad brush strokes in them
         
Cabinets have spots that were previously missing paint and can still be seen
through the new paint.
     
Cabinet in back of living room was not painted
        
Cabinet door backs were not painted
   
Front door wasn?t sanded or caulked, the holes in it weren?t filled, and it has
dirt, brush bristles and texture painted into it.
Doors leading into rooms and closets have dirt, brush bristles and texture
painted into them.
2 back exterior doors were not completed, only the metal around the glass was
painted. They also had spots of paint missing and holes were not filled.
Some drawers were painted shut
Brand new Unused washer and dryer have bad scratches from
and specks of paint all over them

Bathtub not caulked
No caulk on bathtub or Sinks
Paint on exterior brick where one of the guys cleaned his brush on it
