I clean baseboards, window sills and dust blinds. I bring my own cleaning supplies with the exception of solutions and tools needed for floors. The client would need to provide those items.
Dirt Busters is a wife and husband team. Tami and Wade (Tami&Wade, Wade&Tami) started cleaning for us in March of 2019. They began when my husband was terminally ill, and were able to work around his illness. Some days, they could not be in the master bedroom and bath. Also, there were days they would come and the kitchen would be a mess. For a small increase, Tami took care of unloading and loading the dishwasher, and doing hand dishes. For another small increase, Wade has also taken a few tasks from the Honey Do list. We had a snag in the beginning. I have a fancy clothes washer and hadn't given Tami instructions on how to load it. She washes the bedding. Fortunately, I caught the error before things could be a problem. I have added a dog and then a cat to my household. We have raised the price accordingly, to compensate for the pet hair, etc. Before he died, my husband told me that he wanted my to keep them to clean. We have moved from weekly to bi-weekly.

It didn't end well at all and I'd be very wary of people who ask for a review too soon. Tami seemed to be a hard worker which is great but her business priorities are off. I offered her an opportunity to work once a week as a recurrent service she seemed to be happy until she mentioned how my time availability would ruin happy hour. Honestly, I would have preferred her to say that she was booked. So I told her that was the only time I would be interested because it’s truly the only time I need help. She agreed she would work it out. Moving forward the day before a Big event I had planned which she knew about, she canceled at the absolute last minute. She knew full well that I run an In-Home Daycare seeing that her husband cleaned it for about 2 of the 3 hours they were here. (Small living/ dining area) she calls and asks me if any of my students were sick on said day. I told her no but I also made her aware that, there will be times when they are sick hence the reason why I asked her to come after closing. After already feeling angry at the thought of her suggesting that she would arrive after Happy Hour had blown my mind. Then you want to pretend like you don’t understand that children get sick from time to time. Simply put she could have refused the job when she found out I ran a daycare and that my availability would impact her social pleasures. On another note, after negotiating back and forth we agreed on a weekly set price, Personally, I don’t think she was comfortable with the amount but she didn’t object. The two rooms that I wanted clean weekly would have taken less than an hour because I clean them myself and I’m not nearly as fast as she. I gave them 3 stars because of all the unnecessary foolishness as well as the fact that the two of them come as a packaged deal but she does the bulk of the work. Reviews are personal opinions of your experience and it's not fair how she handled the review that I posted of her services on Thumbtack. I later found out that Tami Wakins is a very vindictive person and she went out of her way to sabatage my business due to my review of her services. Please be smart in your decision, its not worth all the trouble down the line.

The moment we walked into your home we knew instantly we didn't want the job. Your daycare probably ended on the Friday before we came on Monday Labor Day. Yes we worked on a holiday for you. All weekend long you left several dirty diapers and a kitchen filled with 2 sinks of dirty dishes and sippy cups with spoiled milk just for us to throw away and smell. Thanks so much for that. Tami works barefoot Her feet were black from walking in your home. Tami spent 2 hours at $20 an hour organizing 2 of your bedrooms and closets cleaning and turning them into guests rooms. We were in your home cleaning for 3 1/2 hours each. That's a total of 7 hours. The rate should have been $140 but we gave you a $20 discount The small area you speak about that we cleaned took changing out the mop water 5 times. Wiping a small area of kitchen counter tops turned the towel black. Tami felt the day care was not properly maintained for your customers children. That's why she reported your business. You've been on Thumbtack Home Advisor and now Angie's list giving us both bad reviews. Please don't contact Tami with threatening text messages again or we will file a complaint with the proper authorities for harassment. We both work entirely too hard to give our clients home the attention it needs for you to rub our names in mud attempting to ruin our lives and reputation. You are definitely the worst client we've ever had since the beginning of Dirt Busters. Please leave us alone and move on. Wade and Tami Watkins
