At approximately 1:45 p.m., Saturday, 21 December '13, flowers were delivered to my home. The delivery man was polite and wished us happy holidays. There were two messages delivered with the flowers. One message stated the name and phone number of the delivery service. The second message stated 'Susan's Florist' information and stating the following: "We pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our flowers and plants. If for ANY REASON you are not completely satisified with your order please call us AT ONCE". I was looking for the care insturctions but found none so I called the 'Susan's Florist' number included with the delivery (2:10 p.m.) but all I received was a recording stating that the employees were busy and for the caller to leave a message. I left a detailed message stating that I just received a floral delivery and gave my name, address and phone number requesting a return call. I received no return call. I called again at 4:10 p.m. and left a second message stating my request for a return call but again, no one returned my call. Flowers are very expensive and people like to preserve the freshness of their flowers as long as possible. Susan's Florist has some serious issues with it comes to a lack of professionals and making false statements in regards to the satisifaction to the customer :(. When you need flowers for any occasion, I strongly suggest that everyone take their business elsewhere. On Monday, 23 December '13, an employee called my home in the morning and spoke to my husband. My husband shared with me that the employee stated the store closed at noon on Saturday, 21 Dec '13. She then proceeded to tell my husband how to care for the flowers. There was no discussion as to why there were 'no care' instructions left with the planter and no discussion as to why there was no mention of their closing times on their answering service. Therefore, since the company did return my calls on the next business day, I have upgraded my marks accordingly.
Description of Work: I received a floral arrangement as a Christmas gift from my friend. A contracted delivery service was used according to the delivery man. However, the florist was in such as hurry that the person(s) did not include the information as to how to care for the flowers. I have received flowers all across the USA but this is the FIRST time I have ever received flowers that did not include 'CARE' instructions :(. Care instructions are very important in order to prolong the life of the flowers!
