Stonehenge Construction

Karen, owner of Stonehenge was wonderful to work with, very professional, and an excellent advisor in design. I had some ideas about what I wanted, but there were times I asked for her help, and she was invaluable. I changed my mind several times about the cabinets, tile, etc., and she was patient and kind about it. We had planned to put in a pocket door, but the plumbing prevented that and she was quick to solve the problem with putting in a barn door. I found a beautiful antique door and called Eric to see it it would work. He was a great project manager, very personable and organized. He assured me they could make it work and that is my favorite part of the remodel. I found Karen and Eric quick to respond to my concerns and I never felt uncomfortable about asking questions. They were very transparent as to pricing and gave me at least four updates on the current charges. I always knew when they were to arrive and leave. We are planning on doing a patio and remodel of the screened porch, and we will use them again. I highly recommend them.

I don't even know where to start. These people are thieves! They went $30,000 over our budget. We were coming to an end with our project and with just two weeks left we confirmed that we were still on budget. Then, a couple weeks later receive the invoice showing we owed an additional $30,000! We met with them and they took no responsibility!!! Not only that!, our hardwood floors are all buckled and coming up! It started only a few months after completion and now they look horrible! They also are claiming they are not responsible for this! They installed a pocket door to our bathroom and didnt install the hardware to actually lock the door! We have one french door going to our deck that doesn't shut correctly and is hard to open, which they wouldn't fix AND another door that will not even latch shut unless you bolt lock it! I could go on and on with the problems we've had with these people, but I won't bore you, just BEWARE! These are dishonest people that took advantage of a young couple who just had a baby! They should be ashamed of themselves, but instead, wiped their hands clean and never attempted to make things right!

The job they did last year, we were so impressed, that we had them do it again.  I will continue to use them in future.

Approximately three and a half months of work. Contractor worked efficiently to complete the project. The completed work met or exceeded our expectations. Stonehenge Construction provided excellent design and decorating assistance throughout the entire project. As with any project there were some difficulties, however these issues were always met with a positive attitude and corrected.

Not only was the plan excellent, and workmanship first rate; but they went far beyond what I would have expected from a contracting crew on a small job. Tommy was there every step of the way. He suggested several changes that enhanced the final outcome. And he even went so far as to climb into the attic and run wires for the surround sound system, mount the speakers, and hook the whole thing up. I couldn't have been more pleased.
