Trevor came and gave an estimate. The day the work was done, which required approaching these windows from a ladder, the handyman was right on time, and worked up a good sweat getting these windows operable again. He was courteous and efficient.

I had called and asked for estimates on several projects that I had in mind. Dan arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. He was very professional and polite as we walked around the house and I pointed out the projects that I had in mind. He asked a number of questions to clarify each project. He told me the estimates and I told him the two that I would like to do now. He started and completed the first project that same day. Project 1: on the side of the house, there was an overhang where the bottom was falling down. When Dan checked it, he found that there wasn't a vinyl starting piece under the siding. The starting piece and the bottom of the overhang were wood and had rotted which caused the bottom to fall. The siding was loose. He removed the rotted wood and replaced with a vinyl piece for the bottom of the overhang (I forget what this piece is called). He also added a vinyl starter piece under the siding and made sure that the vinyl siding was secured. He removed the trash. He was very professional and pleasant to work with. Project 2: a previous owner had modified a bedroom into a large bathroom. The vanity was built into a recessed area. The vanity top was wood which was rotting from the leaky faucet. The vanity top, sink and faucets were replaced. The vanity was not a standard size so the vanity top had to be custom ordered. I was told it could take 2 - 3 weeks for delivery. A week later, someone called to schedule a time to install the new top, sink and faucet. I originally scheduled the installation for Thursday when I was on vacation. Wednesday morning, someone called to let me know that their vendor wasn't sure that the vanity top would be ready so we rescheduled for the following Monday. I really appreciated that he called to reschedule early. Dan was once again a few minutes early on Monday. He completed the work that day. The vanity top with the drop-in sink looks so much better than the old vanity top. He cleaned up afterwards, even vacuuming the carpet when he was done. He removed all of the trash. I was very impressed with Dan. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely call again when I'm ready for another project.

I contacted House Doctors to get an estimate and was able to set an appointment for a couple days later. Their technician showed up on time, in uniform, and was very courteous and knowledgeable. He even made some suggestions that actually saved me some money which was nice. They gave me an estimate on the spot and I called a few days later to schedule the work. Once again, we made an appointment and the same technician came out to perform the work. All the work completed was done in a timely manner, it took a little more than a day, and was top notch quality. All work areas were cleaned up exceptionally well. My invoice matched my estimate and I had a $50 coupon that was deducted from the bill. Overall, everything went very smoothly and I was extremely pleased with the whole experience.

I picked up info on House Doctors at a local home and garden show. They're a franchised company and the owner himself came to my home to provide an estimate and was VERY knowledgeable about a number of home repair issues. On the scheduled day for the gutter cleaning, House Doctors called about 20 minutes prior to their arrival. The gutter cleaning went very well and only took about 1 hour if that long. Had I not been home I never would have known they had been at my house since they didn't leave a speck of debris! I also had a column on the front of my home that was out of alignment. I'm not sure what type of instrument was used to put it back in place but they realigned the column without removing any part of the structure or causing any damage to the column. The following day we had a severe thunderstorm with 70 MPH winds and my gutters performed perfectly. I was extremely please with their service, and professionalism and plan to use them again for future projects.
