Brown's Quality Painting was a husband and wife team who we hired to paint my daughter's room. When I called and set up the appointment, they were very thorough about asking me exactly what I wanted done. Their over the phone estimate was spot-on. I knew I wanted an accent wall, and that the ceiling needed to be painted as well. I was given a quote for that over the phone, and they confirmed that when they arrived. They were at our house most of the day, and they worked hard! They were friendly to my kids and dog, and they even asked if it would be okay if they listened to music while they worked. They cleaned up after they were done, and the room looked great. We booked them again for our other daughter's room next month.
Description of Work: Painted my daughter's room - they used 2 different colors as I requested, painted the ceiling, baseboards, doors, windows and trim.

I purchased a groupon for this company to come paint. The groupon didn?t cover doors/windows so I had to pay extra for them. The work was TERRIBLE!!! The windows and doors I paid extra for look awful and there is paint all over the door knobs ? they didn?t even paint the whole window! They also didn?t take the face plates off the wall and there is paint all over them! My husband couldn?t believe how terrible the room looked ? definitely amateur painters.They had to move furniture and scratched my floor and when I brought it to their attention ? they lied and said it was already like that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and they did a horrible job! They said all their work was 100% guaranteed ? But I don?t trust them to comeback out and fix what they did because it?s so bad I am afraid they?d make it look worse ? if that is even possible.

Description of Work: after dismantelling the room to paint , take off from work, move pets else were they did not show up. in A PHONE CALL THERE WAS NO OPOLIGY, NO OFFER TO FOR MUCH OF ANYTHING. THEY WERE VERY RUDE. THANKS

I purchased a Groupon for painting services which were valid for rooms up to 15'x15'x9'. I was going to have two rooms painted, but had so much difficulty with this provider that I cancelled the service. Scheduling was a nightmare. I called for a week straight to get a date scheduled to have my rooms painted. I left a message every single day. One day, it sounded like a kid answered the phone and then hung up on me. After a week, I was finally received a call back after threatening to get my money refunded on the deal. A date was scheduled at the time, about three weeks out. About a week before the painting date, I received a call from Mr. Brown telling me they would not honor Groupon purchases because they were having difficulty getting paid by Groupon. He asked me to call Groupon and ask for a refund, and told me he would still come out and paint the rooms for the price purchased, I would just pay him directly instead of paying Groupon. This seemed, to me, like a way to get around commission fees charged by Groupon, so when I called Groupon, I told them exactly what Mr. Brown told me. They were not able to offer a refund quickly because they couldn't reach the provider. I was told he wasn't answering their calls. So they offered me a credit to my account. Now a $140 credit I have to spend through Groupon. I called Mr. Brown back to confirm the painting date. Called for three days straight and never got a response. Finally, the day before he was supposed to come out, I left a message cancelling the service and told him not to send his guys out the next day as I already had another painter coming. I received a phone call later that evening, around 8 p.m. saying "oh yes, we are still on for tomorrow, just wanted to let you know." I called the next morning and told him not to send his guys out, that I didn't trust the company at all, at this point. I'd rather pay a higher amount to have a reliable company than someone who doesn't even respond to phone calls and that's exactly what I did.
