Description of Work: Andrew and Jeremy were punctual, polite and professional. They worked efficiently to move the items we were donating and to even move a chair to another room in our house. They reminded me of a $30 coupon for their services, which I had seen on their website but had forgotten to print. | |My only problem came in actually scheduling the move. I kept playing telephone tag with the scheduling guy, and then I gave him 2 contact phone numbers. One the day of the move, they called only 1 number and I wasn't available at that number so the move had to be delayed by a day. I suggest they follow the customer's request in calling both numbers. But that problem had nothing to do with Andrew and Jeremy's performance - they were great.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $150 for two movers and a truck for two hours. The service was great.

Description of Work: The original quote did not even approach the final bill. The young men made a point of complaining about the numerous pieces of glass I had wrapped. Once I had reached my new home I discovered that one of my glass table tops was broken and even though I had purchased the maximum amount of insurance, glass was not covered. I found it curious that they had made a point of objecting to what they believed was an exorbitant number of glass pieces. It strains my imagination to believe he did not know full well glass was not insured. They also broke a very important all brass Syrian lamp given to me by a friend who died of AIDS. Antique furniture was damaged and scratched. When I informed management of the damage I didn't believe they were concerned at all. They instructed me I should send them photos. I asked management if Wildcat vetted their employees and I was told, "Yes." Half way into the first day's move they told me they would not be able to complete the move with the truck they had and it would be necessary to rent another truck on my own independently. I believe they should have informed me of the problem immediately instead of waiting until that afternoon. It was an absolute mess. Of course moves are always a traumatic undertaking but this one was esp. awful. Arriving at my home that night on the heals of the Wildcat movers(they got there I would estimate at least an hour earlier) I learned I had been burglarized. I do not know who was responsible. There are other complaints but I simply don't have the time to go into further detail. |Suffice it to say I will never use this moving service again.
