My daughter had a good experience with them. She said that they were good and very thorough. Something was not up to quote in the house and I can’t remember what it was and they fixed that. I don’t think they charged extra for that. That was nice.

The answers that this guy gave, made sense. I was satisfied with his thoroughness. The price is excellent. I would use them for the plumbing job.

Very professional, competent, knew what they were doing. Very good about coming back and taking care of any problem or something that didn't go just right. Very honest and dependable.

Called on a Saturday morning. Left message. Call returned promptly. Plumber and I worked together to meet at mutual time. He kept in touch via cell phone. Promptly identified problem upon arrival. Fixed problem for no charge except service fee. Talked with me about plumbing generally and other things I was going to have done.

They installed the water heater purchased at Home Depot. A month after installation I had the plumbing inspector come to look at the installation. He noticed there was corrosion on the fitting joining the cold water line to the heater. Evidently this was a result of a leak in the adaptor between the copper line and the heater. I called them and they came out and replaced the adaptor which needed to be soldered to the copper line. There was no charge for the service. Since then everything is fine.I was not sure if the leak was caused by faulty soldering or by a faulty adaptor.

I phoned at 8:00 AM and requested a drain to be cleaned. They gave me an approx. time of 3 to 5:00 PM. Within about 45 minutes they called back and had an opening earlier . Jacob, one of the sons, arrived at 11:00 AM and had unstopped my drain by 12:00. Not only did he unstop the drain he replaced a pipe that was to short which was causing leaks. He also provided me with some tips to help prevent future problems. There is no doubt, I would use this company again without hesitation. It is hard to beat family owned businesses.

They didn’t charge me because the problem turned out to be not in my house, but it was with the city. I had to call the city to fix the issue. They were fantastic. They came out on time. It was an emergency call. They got out there very quickly. They were very careful around the house. They did a pretty thorough job and quickly diagnosed the problem. They were great.

They charged $90 for the labor. I also purchased a part, which they installed for me. It is a very good service. They always get here quickly. I will use them again in the future.

Installed new toilet flapper. Had to come back to reinstall it.Determined that I needed a toilet but said I would have to go buy one and they would install it.Called another plumber for a second opinion

After putting lots and lots of potato peels in the garbage disposal Thanksgiving Day, the double kitchen sink wouldn't remove the standing water. The garbage disposal was in workable condition, but there was obviously a clog somewhere. My son tried plungers, and even took the U-pipe off to drain the gunky water hoping to remove the clog. Nothing worked. The next day I called Rapid Plumbing, and one of the sons was out within the hour. He was polite and obviously knew his job. He gave me some tips regarding the use of my garbage disposal and what not to put in it, and promptly used his machine to clear the clog. He was neat, left no mess, and I feel I was charged fairly. This is the first time I used this company and I plan to continue using them when I need a plumber. It is family owned, with the father and sons doing all the jobs. They live up to their "rapid plumbing" reputation, responding quickly and not wasting time on the job. From this single experience I can say they did the job well.

Had a great experience. We called at 1:00 a.m. with an emergency and they got back to us later that morning. A plumber was dispatched and arrived within an hour. He was diligent and professional. He was unable to fix the problem, though he did diagnose it correctly as being an issue with the sewers and the city's responsibility. I called the city who came out and fixed the problem on their end. They didn't charge me for the service call. I'll be using them for all of my plumbing needs.

I called and requested a technician to come out and diagnose a water heater with no hot water. A technician came out the same day and quickly discovered the problem of a loose electrical connection. He worked with me to further troubleshoot any other problems.He was in and out quickly and professionally.

Rapid Plumbing did a great job, from providing a competitive estimate, to clearly explaining how the work could be accomplished, and then getting it done in a timely and professional manner. Primary reasons I chose them were: 1. the ability to complete it in one day, while other plumbers suggested they might take several days. 2. Jason (the owner of Rapid Plumbing) was professional and helpful, while other plumbers failed to show up for estimate appointments, or (can you believe it) never even sent a written estimate after coming to our house. 3. Jason listened to all of my concerns and questions and addressed them all in detail. Bottom line: Jason and his guys showed up on the work day and never wasted time. They had a good plan and got it done as promised within budget.

Rapid Plumbing is true to their name. The gentleman I initially spoke with over the phone to gauge familiarity with Water Softner installation ended up performing the work the next day. I went with Rapid because the plumber was very familiar with this type of installation. He came and did the work with speed and effectiveness. My only complaint would be in the finer details. The piping for the installation had to be run along the wall, and they were slightly off-plumb and not aligned with each other. Also, the plumber left all of the packaging from the Water Softner is a messy pile in my garage. Minor things. Overall, the installer was polite, skilled, and efficient. I also believe the price charged was very reasonable. I recommend Rapid Plumbing of Lexington, KY.

Jason was very professional. He showed me exactly what had failed in the faucet.

They are rapid, they have shown up within 15 minutes of my call before. We were out of town, called them on a Sunday and they called me back in minutes. He was on the road and a friend met him at the house and the whole situation took an hour. I've given their name to many friends and would highly recommend them. They are very kind, nice and professional all the way around.

I like that they are family owned and operated. We have used them so long that we are on a first name basis. They are so nice nice and they are concerned if you have a problem. You can depend on them.

I contacted the company on a Monday afternoon. I told the lady I had a slow drain in my master bath in the tub, my toilet was slow and that I had to constantly plunge both of these to help drain the water. In my basement, my septic system had at one time backed up into my tub. She never told me that there was a service fee for the call. I found it was $90 when I was given a bill by the service man. He (Jason) told me that he doesn't come to Richmond from Lexington for nothing. I told him that I believed it was underhanded when the charge for removing the hair and raising the drain stopper was only $10. I was furious and called the office after Jason left our house. I kept wanting to have the pipes snaked or at least scoped. The other upstairs bathroom has no problem with the drains at all. It is only the master bath. He (Jason) told us it was the type of toilet. The other bath has the same type of toilet. This company's sneaky and not professional at all. Be up front.

A very nice young man came to our house. He spent 45 minutes trying everything he could to unclog our sink. There was huge commitment, lots of effort, and high degree of knowledge and professionalism. Unfortunately, he was unable to do the job. He made recommendations (which later proved perfectly correct). And the most incredible thing: HE DIDN'T CHARGE US A DIME BECAUSE HE WAS UNABLE TO UNCLOG OUR SINK.

I called two other companies on the list who were unable to come the same day when I called Rapid Plumbing they said a man would be there at 1:00 P.M. At 12:45 the doorbell rang and the plumber was there. The blocked drain was badly blocked but he cheerfully worked on it with a very clean and efficient piece of equipment and one hour later the drain was clear. He talked about how much he liked working for this company compared to others that he had worked for. While working on my job he took a cell phone call from the office to make sure that he was on the job as promised and the conversation with the office sounded very pleasant. He was careful to see that no leaks had occurred because of his work. I would very much use this company again for future needs.

I noticed about 1:30 PM on a Friday that our water heater was leaking. Called Rapid Plumbing who said they could come out today(!). The lady answering the phone was very personable. Within 2 hours a plumber arrived, in a company vehicle, wearing a company shirt and looked presentable. He definitely knew what he was doing, fixed the problem and left within about 10 minutes. I was very pleased with the quick response and expertise of this company.

Great! The individuals came out on two occasions and they both were on time. They were very polite and respectful. Neither smelled of smoke and they were clean.
