Excellent experience with DDR to completely finish our basement. The communication to update us on the project status and trades coming was great! The crew did an excellent job and was responsive to our needs. If there were questions or concerns it was handled the same day. We have a beautiful basement and would recommend DDR for any project and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I just got my basement finished and I'm quite happy with it. Every single worker who came into our home including electricians, plumbers, dry wall installers, clean up, etc. was a true professional and highly skilled in the job. It seems that they all take pride in their work. They weren't here just to do the job but to do the job right. Their work ethic alone would encourage me to hire them again but when you add to that the fact that they were courteous and dependable seals the deal. Every horror story I've heard about construction woes has been dispelled by these people. Communication was always clear and timely. No question went unanswered and every answer was positive. The only drawback? They did such a good job on the basement I may now need to buy new furniture to live up to the new room!

Decided to have our garage rebuilt. Distinctive design offered best value for the money! Great communication throughout the process, Chris worked really hard to stay on top of things and we really appreciated that.

Jesse came and took measurements and provided a quote. Work started a few weeks after that and was completed in under two weeks. Only suggestion is to ensure HOA review promptly. Otherwise, great experience.

This company seems to hire second rate workers who often seem sloppy and border line incompetent. Often jobs had to be redone and after a month I am still waiting for a power line to be moved that should have been moved before work on the addition was started. If I could go back and start over I would hire someone else and hopefully get better results.

Our $30,000 project is still under construction - just getting started, actually. We were given an hour's notice that the crew was on the way over to demolish and remove the existing patio. Which didn't allow us to relocate plants as we had planned. So far, the communication has been shoddy. They do not return calls in a timely manner. We have numerous questions and have emailed without receiving a call back. The concrete slab they poured is sloped at about 6 degrees, which is very noticeable when you look at it and when you stand on it. The slope should be no more than 2.5-3 degrees for a 14 foot concrete slab. They have agreed to correct the slope, however that will make the step out from the door to the porch about 3" instead of 5". So far, I am not impressed with the company. I will be happy to do another review when our project is complete and hopefully I can give a higher rating.

From our initial contact with Distinctive Design Remodeling to finished product, work was coordinated in a timely and efficient manner between sales staff, design, project manager and contractors. All personnel worked efficiently, demonstrated professional craftsmanship and attention to details. They consulted frequently and worked around our schedule. We were notified of each step of the project and the end product was better then we had envisioned. Very pleased with the completed project and highly recommend Distinctive Design Remodeling to others. We will absolutely consider them for our future projects.

Distinctive Design did an AWESOME job with our basement after our extensive water damage. Their team was professional, timely, organized and delivered quality results.
