Sunroom was completed on time with good quality. It took a little while, but clean-up was completed satisfactorily.

Prompt, very good workmanship, and willing to adjust to our needs as the customer.

Our experience was excellent! Chris, our project manager, orchestrated & executed perfection! Every, & I mean Every group of craftsman preformed at a high level. The smallest of details were matched to our main floor which created a beautiful flow. Another thing that is important to me is my time...they were on time with the project completion & arrival times of craftsmen. Our basement went from ghetto fabulous to beautiful!

They are very responsive to your concerns, wants and needs. Great project management, very friendly subs and leave area clean. Chris Thomas, their project manager on this job, kept us updated on days contractors would be here and the times they would arrive. We had a couple of hiccups that were addressed promptly and professionally.

Any issues that came up. Even if I did not like the subcontractors. They would just send out different ones. Did all that I asked them to do.

DDR was excellent - they were prompt, professional and we got an excellent value. I was very pleased with the work done on our basement. I would highly recommend them.

The overall process was unnecessarily stressful. Based on other NKY reviews, this seems to be a symptom of people working the area. Communication was lacking. The owner did make an effort to pull their feet out of the fire at the end which rescued the rating. If you work with them, get the contract in large enough print that can be read easily. Do not sign anything at the sales meeting and insist on an exit clause relating to approval of the final drawing. Insist that the word draft is on negotiation drawings until it is approved. Understand that you can not trust a single thing the sales rep tells you and read the contract. If the drawing does not specify gas they will assume electric. Understand if they tell you talk to the project manager about an issue that is not in the drawing it is also not part of the contract.

Everyone working for their company has been great. They truly want you to be very pleased with their work. They keep you informed. They do not hesitate to make recommendations that will make the total project better.

Tom, Project Manager remained professional as well as personable throughout the process. He consistently kept me informed of any changes or additions. His demeanor was always pleasant and positive .He would visit the site frequently to make sure that everything was happening according to the plan. The whole team worked very well together.

Great guys to work with

We hired DDR to both finish our basement and build a custom garage, based on their reputation, their affordable and fair pricing, and great service. They finished the basement first, completing it WAY ahead of schedule (we were able to use it for the holidays!!!). DDR and all of their contractors were very easy to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. The final quality of all aspects of the basement exceeded our expectations. We have already received MANY compliments from friends and family about the work, and we would recommend them to everybody!!! Next is the garage, and we cannot wait to get started on it. If we ever need any other work done, we will not hesitate to call our new friends at DDR!

We used DDR to finish our basement, which included a home office, a multi-purpose room, a full bathroom, and multiple storage areas. We are very pleased overall with the quality or construction. Since completion of the project, we have had other professionals in to do decorating work, and all have commented that the quality of the work is very good. The project was completed on a reasonable timeline. There were a few times when a member of the crew felt that work completed by another crew member was not up to company standards, and they quickly pointed it out to us as well as the project manager so that the problem could be corrected immediately. The electrician was especially good working with us on developing a lighting plan that would meet our needs, and we are very happy with the end result. The crew that completed the cabinet installation and trim were also wonderful to work with. The project manager was helpful in facilitating communication between the various contractors to keep the project on track. He was responsive to our questions via phone and text when questions arose. We are excited to have our new lower level completed and look forward to many years enjoying the space.

Great company. They handled every thing from start to finish and kept us informed of the coming and going on. I wish I had used them for my home remodel, now that was a different story, and not a pretty one.

Did not contact us as to when they would arrive. There was no communication between the company, the workers and us. We felt pressure from the special person they brought in to over see the project. They thought they did a great job, they didn't. They constantly called us about the money saying, they needed the money for building materials. A patio in back to replace a deck. Steps leading down from our back door. They offered a covering for free and they also offered to color the concrete any color we wanted. The concrete was poured and when we made comments that it was not professional looking, they made up a "slurry"? to cover the patio, which made it worse. We got information from the House and Garden show here locally. What a bad experience this was. The paperwork was all nice and pretty, but that was the only nice part about the whole experience. Then they started calling us about the money, we told them the finished product look horrible, then more calls and visits about the money. Finally, I was so tired with the way we were treated by the entire company, I told them I would pay them but not the complete amount we owed them. It was around $3000.00 that we owed them. We wrote them a check and we said just to get them off our backs, here was the money. The person making the sale originally was all nice and friendly. Boy did that change when we told them they did below quality work. We just could not get rid of them until we gave them the final amount that was due. We were so glad to finally get them off our back. I would NEVER use this company again, EVER. They did crappy work and used "bully" tactics to get what they wanted.

I'm really happy with our new basement/playroom! It looks better than I expected and we can't wait to start using it! We needed this project done quickly so we went with DDR as they were able to start the soonest. They were not the cheapest and the quoted cost didn't include painting or flooring (or waterproofing & HVAC work but that's not needed in every basement remodel). Our project manager, Chris, was awesome and we were in constant contact. Despite the basement being more expensive than anticipated, I'm very please with the end result.

We are very happy with our covered patio. DDR added to our concrete patio and built a covering over it. It matches the house perfect and is a much better product than the other companies that quoted us. We are very happy with the customer service and final product.
