DDR understood that tight timeframe and accomplished it with ease. We hired DDR to add a hip roof to our patio, Everyone was professional and great. Kyle always let us know when someone would be here to work and they always showed up on time, Kyle was quick to resolve and fix any issues with solutions and sometimes he did it himself we were very happy working with Kyle We would definitely hire these guys for another project and I would definitely request for Kyle to be my project manager.

We are extremely pleased with our basement renovation that DDR did for us. Our basement was completely unfinished and had a bathroom layout that was not ideal for us when we purchased the home. From the very first meeting, we felt that DDR listened to our needs, gave us input that would help us keep the project cost lower (i.e. it would be best not to break all the concrete to move the bathroom from one end of the basement to another, but instead rotate the bathroom to take up fewer window spaces) and came up with a plan that made us very happy. Our project manager Kyle ran the project smoothly. The level of experience, communication, and coordination he brought to the project was par to none. Any hiccup we had he worked around it. Any item that needed fixing was done within the week, and to be honest the items to be fixed were minor (leveling concrete before flooring gets put in, patching holes, applying extra caulking). The hiccups were mostly items on our end, where the shower pieces we ordered came broken twice. Instead of stopping the project until we had the shower pieces redelivered, Kyle worked the schedule to have his crew work on something else in the meantime. All crew members, the plumbers, and the electricians were pleasant to work with and respected our home. DDR seems to take the time to vet the people they hire and contract out for projects, which we can all appreciate. The crew went above and beyond on the work and clean-up. Even going as far as patching holes my husband and I made in the staircase while we moved an old fridge down. I wish they did kitchen remodels; I would hire them for that project in a heartbeat. We have recommended Kyle to our neighbors who are interested in finishing their basement as well, and I know they were impressed with what they saw. We absolutely love the space that DDR created for us.

There was great support through the design and communication process, clear and continual conversation, and good collaboration when unexpected challenges cropped up. Our garage project finished exactly on time, with no extra costs, and we would definitely do business with Pat, Chris, and the whole team again. Top notch A+ work. The end product looks great!

We just had a sunroom built over our deck. DDR did an excellent job on the project from start to finish and were very professional. We are extremely pleased with the entire project team and the project manager Chris, who was a very helpful and responsive person and was in constant touch through email throughout the project. The work was delayed due to some supply chain issues but as soon as the material was delivered, the crew finished the job in 3-4 days and it was all perfectly done. Extremely happy with the sunroom! Highly recommend DDR!

DDR rebuilt the top level of our two-tiered deck and then installed a roof and screen to give us a nice-sized screened-in porch. It wasn't inexpensive but I'd seen the work they did for a friend on a similar project, and I was sold. Chris, our project manager, was especially responsive and helpful. The work was delayed a little by weather and other issues, but largely done in the promised time. I'd recommend.

DDR has been fantastic. Everyone has been professional and thorough. The job had an unusual hiccup which was handled in the best possible way. Kyle my project manager listened to my dreams and made them happen. I would highly recommend DDR for your residential construction.

They left the walls dirty, the toilet leaking in the bathroom they built, did not drywall the back of the bathroom they built, job still not complete but already paying on the work that was done, communication stinks, they have had to come back and still need to come back to finish the job but told me the job was complete.

We heard of Distinctive Design Remodeling (DDR) through a commercial on YouTube and the radio. We contacted them through their website inquiring about getting our basement finished. We actually received a call back within 24 hours and someone was at our house within the next seven days. The Senior Design Manager arrived at our home and showed us examples of DDR’s finished work and asked us about our design ideas. After we agreed to their service, the ball began rolling within two weeks. It was an intense process. Lots of calls back and forth, contractors in and out, materials being dropped off, all of the normal things dealing with home projects. There was a mix up in our bathroom with the plumber and electrician and where things would be placed; DDR corrected this mistake immediately. There were also some mishaps and ordering delays with our bathroom back splash due to the pandemic that extended the project out longer. DDR responded professionally and with integrity and even still, our basement was finished enough to furnish within two months. My advice to any future customers to make this process even smoother than it will be, is to make sure you know the exact contact person for your project once it begins. We had some hiccups the first two weeks with contacting the wrong person trying to get information. But, once we knew who to contact, the communication couldn’t have been better. Overall, if I had to recommend a company to my closest friends and family for remodel, it would be Distinctive Design Remodeling.
