The workmanship on our new deck is Perfect.We added a roof and wrapped all the deck in cedar it is beautiful. The boards and railing are cut to perfection.. Great Job we highly recommend this DDR Company. We had very few items to improve but when we asked for a change the Stsff was always very supportive . Now that the job is nearly finished we are certain we selected the right company for this job.

We found DDR through a home and garden show. They were the first to respond to our inquiries about having a garage built. None of the other companies we spoke to responded in a timely manner. From beginning to end DDR was there to respond to any questions we had throughout the whole process. We needed a demolition of our old garage, new concrete pads, and the construction of our dream garage, a 726 sq foot, two car, and maker workspace. We were quoted a price and negotiated from there. Jesse the CAD designer had plans to us about a week later, we asked to have the garage rotated so the gable was facing front and they changed it no problem. After the initial wait to break ground of about a month and half things went very quickly. Chris our project manager contacted us at every phase and answered any questions we might have had each time. The old garage was down in a day and gone by the end of the week. The new foundation was poured that same week. The building material can the following week and we had framing and roof on by the end of the second week. Every aspect was solidly built. There was a bit of damage to our gutter where a truck delivering gravel had ripped a hole and DDR took responsibility for and repaired it. The third week was electrical and main door installation. We asked for windows in the door after the fact and they were added no problem. We did pay the door company an additional amount because it was not originally quoted in the price. They also worked with us to design a drain so that there would be no standing water in front of the garage which was a problem with our original one. We did pay a premium price for this garage, but we also received no worry premium service that was fast and professional. I highly recommend them for people ready to move on a project that they have been saving and planning to do. DDR offers 2-year labor warranty that includes the door. Various materials have other individual warranties as well. We are definitely going to use DDR again to design and build our craftsman style front porch in the future.

We hired Distinctive Design Remodeling to turn our back patio into a full family-room addition. Not only did they fit us into the schedule, but their work has been absolutely phenomenal. Kyle, our project manager, has been super responsive throughout the entire process and has always answered our questions. The work crew has been timely, friendly, and has done a fantastic. We love our new addition, and are so glad we chose DDR!

DDR did a wonderful job and completed it timely. Every person that worked on our project was professional and respectful of our property. Our Project Manager kept us well informed with each step. I would recommend DDR without hesitation.

Eain with DDR has been exceptional through the entire process of building my addition. He kept me informed with timing of things that would occur for the project. He would text me frequently or come by in person when I was at home to provide details. He took time to make sure that I was happy with how the project was coming along and that everything that I wanted done with the project was completed to my satisfaction. Also, the project was completed very quickly with minor delays that can be expected with an addition. I would use them again and recommend Eain and DDR for any addition project.

The Distinctive Design team has been outstanding from the start. The member who came to look at our basement and give us a proposal was by far the most credible person to come out. Once we accepted the proposal the team immediately began planning and were on sight within a week. Each of the different teams (framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and trim) were respectful of our home (including loving on our dogs) and worked long, hard hours to make sure that the job was done right. Our main point of contact throughout was Jordan who kept us up on each phase of product delivery and made sure we had everything needed to keep the project moving. Distinctive Design wasn't the cheapest bid we received, but as the old adage goes, "You get what you pay for." We are very satisfied with the end product and look forward to showing off our new, finished basement. We would definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Chris Thomas was an amazing project manager and kept me informed and on track. I knew as a working mom, I couldn't achieve the dream of a master suite by myself. Everyone was kind and professional! I plan to continue future dreams with DDR! SW

Work was completed efficiently and well done. Communication with Project Manager was great! When issues came up, he was quick to resolve or address the issue.

I am very satisfied with our new room addition from DDR and recommend this company to anybody considering a remodelling project. The project pricing was very competitive, all materials are good quality, and the workmanship is excellent. The project manager (Eain), as well as the workers that came to our home, were a pleasure to work with. Throughout the job Eain kept us well informed, helped us work out schedule conflicts with Home Depot door installers, find someone to come fix our chimney leak, and overall made sure we had a great experience with DDR. In my book DDR takes care of itsâ customers.

DDR was great to work with. Our project was tearing down an old deck and replacing with a formal extension sunroom. Eain was our project manager and was very responsive and made sure to communicate as things changed due to weather ECT. The DDR team did an excellent job with the extension from lining it up with the existing house where it looks seamless from the road, to color matching existing siding. Additionally, the team was great about making adjustments on the project when requested and providing detailed responses to very detailed questions during the design phase. Very happy with the work, professional and very reasonable pricing. In general very pleasant company to partner with and would recommend.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that there were delays at the end of the project to get it completed. However, this was not the fault of the Project Manager - Eain. Eain was fantastic. He made sure everything was done with the utmost quality and kept me informed throughout the project. I would use DDR again especially if Eain is my Project Manager.

My wife and I started a process on a large project for our home. We looked at several options for ideas and quotes on a project for our home. We met with and used Distinctive Design Remodeling â DDRâ in the design process and building of an addition on to our existing house. We were impressed with their products and warranties. We first met with the Senior Sales Manager, Pat in late July for the initial presentation, fact gathering, and showing of their products. We waited for the drawing and cost results. The room was designed and presented to my wife and I to enhance our efficiency, flow look and privacy of our existing home of 17 years. Pat and Jesse presented the drawing plans and cost, all within our reach and the timetable was easy to accommodate. We signed and started to plan to go forward. The financial side was easy to understand and complete. All questions were answered regarding our responsibility, so we agreed and proceeded. On Aug 13th, a catastrophic and historic flood occurred in Eastern KY. The multi counties area effected were hit hard, making national news! Pat, Jesse and Kyle, some staff were affected with this event. We were worried and sorry to hear of this. The communications were good. We were assured all would stay within the timetable and all parties were agreeable. I met with Kyle the site manager and we walked the area, reviewed the underground wires and utilities structures. We made note of a few concerns but all a go. All permits City and HOA authorizations were submitted and completed by DDR. During the construction, the city inspectors came out four separate times in the various stages and everything was good. There were some minor hiccups along the way, but Kyle listened, understood the reasoning and was very responsive. He and DDR addressed and problem solving all and were excellent. We believe there were only two delays, one was natureâ s own plan, the other was a death in our immediate family. The project was only one week off schedule, and I do not even count that. The finished product looks great, the structure is solid and increased not only our living space but $$$ value to our home. It all matched just like it was original to the house. I want to give a special shout out to Kyle our side manager and his crew(s) for being so nice, kept a safe work side, clean and explained things along the way. We would most definitely suggest you check this organization out; they are established, and community based.

We used DDR for construction of a screened deck in our backyard. While maybe DDR was on the pricier side, the 2 year labor warranty, and the communication was top notch and the screen room is absolutely beautiful. Eain was our project manager and was responsive every step of the way. He'd email to let us know when any inspections were being done, keep us posted on a potential timeline, and multiple times, the workers ensured that we were satisfied with the project. They even used an extra magnetic rake thing at the end of the project to make sure all nails were gone given that we have a dog that loves playing in our backyard. We are very appreciative to have found a responsive company and are so grateful that Eain was our project manager. He is prompt, responsive, and quick to solve any issues that would come up.

So glad that my wife and myself chose to go with this company for our add on. Kevin came over and laid down all the details and gave us the process. Kyle, our project manager really went above and beyond to make sure that all lines of communication was open, made sure we knew what was being done and what day it was being done, and lastly made sure everything was done correctly. Kyle also worked with our roofers as we were getting a new roof at the same time and made it seamless with getting the frame done and the roof done at the same time. He was also very personable and did not just make this â another jobâ , he made it very easy to talk to and talked to us as if weâ ve know each other for a while. The customer service with this company is A1, the work is A1, and the overall product is A1, to the point that we have recommended this company to my in laws for their garage, and to others looking for add ons.

From our first interaction with DDR at the Home & Garden Show this past April, we have enjoyed a very professional and pleasant experience with this company. Pat, our initial contact, worked with us to come up with a plan for our new sunroom addition, and Jesse was very patient as we designed and tweaked it. Both were forthcoming and worked diligently to give us a quality room addition while staying within our budget. The construction of our sunroom was managed by Kyle. We canâ t say enough good things about our project manager! We appreciate his kindness and heâ s just great at what he does! The communication between us could not have worked any better. We knew every week what to expect and were informed promptly if there were any changes. At one point we had a delay by the manufacturer in shipment of our windows. Kyle was right on top of that. He was honest about the delay and kept other aspects of the job moving as much as possible. In addition, he was very hands on during the entire processâ many times we saw him interacting with the subcontractors to ensure there was no misunderstanding and that we received quality work. The subcontractors that DDR used did a great job. It was a pleasant surprise to get phone calls from the subs the day before to let us know they would be here. We received quality workmanship, all within a reasonable timeline. This is very rare and much appreciated! The entire process made us feel engaged and part of a team effort--not only did we want the project to be successful, but so did everyone else involved. That kind of work environment makes the project a pleasant experience. Congratulations to DDR and Kyle for exceeding our expectations. We enthusiastically recommend DDR to others! They have a great management team, prompt and skillful subcontractors, and a great business plan that would facilitate any remodeling or renovation. The communication from the Project Manager, Eian, started before the project began, which strengthened my confidence that my porch would be completed in a timely manner. At each phase of the project, Eian was there to assist the workers and was always forthcoming with information regarding the next phase via email or in person. Everyone was always friendly and helpful with my questions. The craftsmanship, talent, and teamwork of this group of individuals was wonderful and I'm very pleased with the final product as I can utilize this beautiful screen enclosed porch all year round.

They were very professional. Eain was awesome! He kept us informed and up to date on everything they were doing or going to do.
