They did a good job, were on time and professional.

after returning from a short trip found that my refigerater was not cooling.as it being late in the e vening waited till the next day to find a repairman . went on angies list and after reading all the great reviews for Mr. Broughton decided to call , he came out and did an inspection of my fridge ,by that time the freezer had also stopped freezing,he kept me informed of all that he was doing . He had to order the parts that were needed and when one item was not the correct one went to louisville himself and got the right one ,all this transpired over several days yet he never charged extra. long story short my fridge was fixed and running better then ever! I am so glad that I contacted Mr. B roughton as I now know who to call if any of my appliances need repair.He and his son were on time and were very professional , I would highly recommend them.

We had an afternoon appointment set up, but they had a cancellation and came out early (they called first). They were very professional and diagnosed the problem instantly. Richard did not have the parts on his truck, but he got them and came back out later this afternoon to finish the job. They were very considerate and did not want us to be without our dryer any longer than necessary. When I originally called them, I misunderstood (my fault) how the hourly billing would take place, so, this was a little pricier than I anticipated. Nevertheless, they still delivered an excellent value and I would use them again.

I have used this company before and was pleased. This time they actually worked me in a day early to fix my non-working but noise-making ice maker. Very prompt, professional and completed the job to my satisfaction.

I made a phone call to Mr. Broughton to report the cooktop problem. He asked for model number, etc. which I was able to provide. A few days later, he called to say that he was having problems locating the part and said that he needed to come to our house to make certain he was looking for the correct part which he did. At that time, we also asked him to look at the leaky dishwasher. Since that time, he has called twice to keep us up to date. Previously, we had contacted the dealer from whom we had purchased the cooktop about the broken valve. He has not been able to find the proper part either, but the difference is that Mr. Broughton seems to be taking a personal interest. At this point, the choice seems to be either to switch valves on a burner I use less that I did the broken one, or to buy a new appliance. Nevertheless, i am very pleased with Mr. Broughton's service and will definitely call on him again.

I called on Monday, explained the symptoms my dryer was having, and scheduled Broughton Appliance Repair for Friday morning. I then called back Wednesday morning to reschedule as we were considering just buying a new washer/dryer set and being done with it. When I introduced myself, he said "your parts just came in"! I asked how he knew what it needed since he hadn't seen the dryer yet and he told me that the symptoms my GE dryer was having turned out to be the bearings 90% of the time, and it would be about a $120-$130 repair, total. I then asked if he could come out right away and after checking his schedule, he said he was busy all afternoon but he could fit me in if he came right away. That was at 9:00 a.m. and by 10:30 a.m. my dryer was running better than it had in 5 years! It was just a little more than he told me on the phone because instead of 2 bearings out, my dryer had worn out all 4. He told me that as soon as he saw inside my dryer, so it wasn't a shock when he handed me the bill. And he made sure to show me the old, worn out parts.....even my husband was pleased!

They were professional, courteous and prompt. They evaluated the washing machine's requirements versus the cost of a new machine. They determined that replacing the 'motor kit' was needed. The repair should extend the 'life' of the machine. This was the less expensive alternative. The 'part' was ordered and installed the next day. I would definitely use them for future appliance repairs.

Refrigator began to lose cooling power over several weeks. Finally ice maker stopped making ice. Was still cooling when rep from Broughton came and diagnosed a leak in the coolant. He advised a new fridge based on the age of ours. He also said to find the leak would be very costly. He was knowledgeable and honest.

I like them very much. They are very fair. He was prompt and very helpful. He saved me some money. At first, he thought the dryer motor was broken, and then he found that it was the relay switch, which was cheaper.

I had a warm refrigerator and a Sears Master Service Agreement. Sears said they could not be our for another 11 days. The Sears agreement was worthless. I called Broughton at 9:30, he was here in 2+ hours. Made a templorary fix while awailting await parts, completed it when parts arrived 2 days later. The biggest expense was parts. Excellent work, timely serive, reasonable prices. I highly recommend.
