Fixed the main fridge but told us the old one was beyond repair, then gave us a name of a guy who would take them for scrap.

Ok but had to wait a week for the part.

Replaced pump

The visit was great and the tech was knowledgeable and addressed our problem. He was not able to fix but our home warranty covered a replacement.

It went great. Same day service.

I was kept informed of the part being on back-order and scheduled for service as soon as part was in. The gasket cost $149.00 the labor was 75.00. The service call was 65.00. It took about an hour-hour 1/2 to replace the part.

Excellent. I would highly recommend Broughton Appliance Repair. I called him after our home warranty assigned company would not come out until Friday (when our refrigerator stopped working on Monday night). He came out that same afternoon and even accommodated my schedule. Thanks to Broughton, I had a working refrigerator 24 hours later. He even worked with the warranty company so I could still file an out of network claim!

Our refrigerator had stopped cooling, to the point where water in ice trays wouldn't freeze and milk was spoiling due to temperature.  Richard came out the same day that I called.  After originally thinking it was a faulty fan and telling us we needed a new one, he discovered that there was just too much dust and cat hair behind the grates and air flow to the fan was being blocked.  After vacuuming and cleaning the coils/grates, the fan started working again, and the refrigerator is now freezing and cooling as normal.  Richard did not continue to try to sell us a new fan that we no longer needed, and instead just charged us for the service call and cleaning.  He was informative, helpful, and honest.  Would highly recommend and will definitely use in the future.

I called Mr. Broughton on Monday morning when I realized that my refrigerator had stopped cooling.  Since the problem involved refrigeration he added me to his schedule for that day  and came out that same afternoon.  He could tell immediately what the problem was just by listening to the refrigerator and was able to make the repair in no time at all.  He also took the time to show me how to remove the kick plate on my refrigerator so I can vacuum the coils on a regular basis, and gave me a special brush for cleaning the inside of the fridge.  He was very helpful and it's reassuring to know that I finally have someone to call whenever I have an problem with any appliance.  I'd highly recommend him to anyone who needs repair service.

Richard came out and assessed an issue with my washer. He performed diagnostics and found an electrical issue.
He ordered the replacement part and was able to come out 2 days later once he got the part to complete the repair.
He was very polite, professional and personable. I would definitely call him for any future issues I may have.

Called for appointment. They came out very quickly and performed the necessary work to get my dryer working again.

The washer stopped working properly on the weekend and I called Richard on Monday to schedule an appointment. He said he could come out Tuesday afternoon(I requested the afternoon), which he did after giving me a 45 minute warning call and arrived exactly on time. Richard diagnosed the problem and would need to order the switch, which would take a couple of days. Thankfully, Richard bypassed the problem temporarily so we could use the washer while waiting for the part. Richard called and said the part had arrived, but since the washer was working there was no sense of urgency on my part, Richard did the permanent fix a week later. Richard was nice, professional and honest and I would use him again.
