Great, fast and prompt service. Got part for my dryer and got it fixed same day.

Fixed the main fridge but told us the old one was beyond repair, then gave us a name of a guy who would take them for scrap.

Ok but had to wait a week for the part.

The visit was great and the tech was knowledgeable and addressed our problem. He was not able to fix but our home warranty covered a replacement.

I was kept informed of the part being on back-order and scheduled for service as soon as part was in. The gasket cost $149.00 the labor was 75.00. The service call was 65.00. It took about an hour-hour 1/2 to replace the part.

Excellent. I would highly recommend Broughton Appliance Repair. I called him after our home warranty assigned company would not come out until Friday (when our refrigerator stopped working on Monday night). He came out that same afternoon and even accommodated my schedule. Thanks to Broughton, I had a working refrigerator 24 hours later. He even worked with the warranty company so I could still file an out of network claim!

Our refrigerator had stopped cooling, to the point where water in ice trays wouldn't freeze and milk was spoiling due to temperature. Richard came out the same day that I called. After originally thinking it was a faulty fan and telling us we needed a new one, he discovered that there was just too much dust and cat hair behind the grates and air flow to the fan was being blocked. After vacuuming and cleaning the coils/grates, the fan started working again, and the refrigerator is now freezing and cooling as normal. Richard did not continue to try to sell us a new fan that we no longer needed, and instead just charged us for the service call and cleaning. He was informative, helpful, and honest. Would highly recommend and will definitely use in the future.

Our refrigerator had stopped working, and I called Richard, after I found his information on Craigslist. He told me to call me back when I was home from work that evening, so he could ask me some questions over the phone. He had me check several things, and making a long story short, fixed the problem, without coming out to our house (saving us $80).

I called Mr. Broughton on Monday morning when I realized that my refrigerator had stopped cooling. Since the problem involved refrigeration he added me to his schedule for that day and came out that same afternoon. He could tell immediately what the problem was just by listening to the refrigerator and was able to make the repair in no time at all. He also took the time to show me how to remove the kick plate on my refrigerator so I can vacuum the coils on a regular basis, and gave me a special brush for cleaning the inside of the fridge. He was very helpful and it's reassuring to know that I finally have someone to call whenever I have an problem with any appliance. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who needs repair service.

Richard worked hard to repair dishwasher at a good price for me. I'd call him again!

Richard came out and assessed an issue with my washer. He performed diagnostics and found an electrical issue. He ordered the replacement part and was able to come out 2 days later once he got the part to complete the repair. He was very polite, professional and personable. I would definitely call him for any future issues I may have.

Called for appointment. They came out very quickly and performed the necessary work to get my dryer working again.

The washer stopped working properly on the weekend and I called Richard on Monday to schedule an appointment. He said he could come out Tuesday afternoon(I requested the afternoon), which he did after giving me a 45 minute warning call and arrived exactly on time. Richard diagnosed the problem and would need to order the switch, which would take a couple of days. Thankfully, Richard bypassed the problem temporarily so we could use the washer while waiting for the part. Richard called and said the part had arrived, but since the washer was working there was no sense of urgency on my part, Richard did the permanent fix a week later. Richard was nice, professional and honest and I would use him again.

Richard spent quite a bit of time working with my Home Warranty company on the phone, and explained to them in detail the problem with the fridge. The result was better than expected, and I really appreciated how patient and conscientious he was concerning our situation. Very honest, knowledgeable, and I will definitely call him again if I have an appliance issue.

We have 2 refrigerators that the Ice Makers aren't working. I called spoke with Mr. Broughton he said he would phone and come the next day and didn't. So I phoned him again, he came as arranged this time. Diagnosed one as a clogged valve, recommended call a plumber and replace the valve. 2nd one the motor of the Ice Maker is burnt up, a new is $185. I ok'd that. They left and I have never heard from them again. He didn't ask for any money or anything. I thought I would hear from him when he got the new Ice Maker but I am not going to chase him, so, a bit concerned about his Business Sense. Nice man, but I still have 2 non working Ice Makers, but at least no money was involved and I guess I know what the issues are.

Richard is the best! After describing the problem I was having with my refrigerator, he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. He then provided the anticipated cost of the repair vs. advised as to whether I needed a new refrigerator. I opted for the repair of my old refrigerator, their cost was very reasonable, and the work was done within 4 hours of my call to them. I will definitely use them again.

The service technician was just great and honest as the day is long. The hinges on the door were broken and to replace them would have been expensive but he told me that he could just repair rather than replace them and save me quite a bit of money. I would recommend them highly.

He patiently answered all my questions. In doing so, I realized that he really knows his stuff. He was very kind and supportive.

It went well. The other repair person was very professional and prompt about the service. I heard no complaints from my tenants.

The guys are pleasant to work with and thorough in their repair. They were on time and also called ahead when they were on the way. I will use again when needed in the future.

In the evening of Thursday, October 3, my refrigerator started making this awful noise. I tried to locate the source of the noise and found that it was coming from a compartment between the freezer side and the refrigerator side. Since the compartment is screwed down, I couldn't see what was happening. Early on Friday, October 4, I called Broughton's and got Richard Broughton. I held the phone up to the source of the noise and he immediately identified the cause of the noise and said he would be out later. He and his son came out and confirmed that it was a faulty damper control. He said he had to order the part and that he would install it as soon as the part came in. He said the part should come in on Monday, October 7. On Monday, he called and told me that the part had not been shipped out until that morning and he would expect it on Tuesday. I have my house on the market to sell and I told Richard that it was being shown at 5:30 at evening and hoped the problem would be fixed before the potential buyers came in. He came out with his son at about 4:00PM and by 5:00Pm the faulty part was removed and the new one installed. In addition, Richard showed me what had gone wrong with the faulty part so I got an education on the damper control gizmo in the bargain. I was very pleased with everything - customer service was great!!!!!

Fast response, same day, amazing! As above. Worst case appeared to be compressor. Told me, if that was the case, he'd recommend considering a new one. Proceeded to clean coils and evaluate system. Quickly identified and replaced broken parts. Took extra care to clean system. Kept me informed of cause and solution. Gave me tips on future maintenance. Will definitely call him first for all my appliance needs.

Excellent job. Charged me for only exact time spent on the repair versus for the whole hour. Will recommend him to others and I will utilize him for future Appliance repair needs. Excellent attitude and a real professional.
