Sweet Life Heating & Cooling

I owe a huge debt to the Sweet Life heating and cooling. Finally a company who doesn’t see me as a dollar sign. My ac outdoor unit went down with a leak, losing all of my refrigerant on early Saturday afternoon July 13th, 2024 and I called around 8:15 pm and they had someone out before 9. After investigating, the technician found that the unit had sprung a leak somewhere. After realizing that Arlinghaus installed the system 4 years ago he suggested to get a hold of them to see if the warranty covered it before they charged to do anything. In the meantime, Jay the owner, put together 3 quotes for me in case. 2 quotes for 2 different unit installs(incase the coil was shot) and 1 for a coil replacement. The coil is a lot of labor which is why the quotes for a new unit install exists. The quotes were very reasonable any he was able to get a team out first thing Monday morning to get it going again. Jay also drove out of his way at 11pm at night and let my family borrow portable air conditioners even thought I haven’t agreed to any business with them yet. However, I am lucky to have a family member who does HVAC for a living and he was willing to come out and take a look. He was able to find a pinhole leak and have it soldered shut, then charged and fill it back up with refrigerant and I was good to go. Bottom line is, even though I didn’t get to do business with the Sweet Life heating and cooling, I had never been treated so well and fairly but a company. Not to mention how quick and fast they were going to be able to help me and I wasn’t even their customer. If I ever have to get work done I won’t second guess calling Jay and the Sweet Life heating and cooling in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Postons always respond quickly. Best of all they fix it first visit- well unless they need parts- but then they come back ASAP and finish. Great to have heating and ac guys I can count on. (I’m a small business with 24 properties with hvac)

It went really well. Ended up replacing the entire furnace for a little more than another company quoted to repair the heat exchanger. Responded the same day and installed the next.

Poston Brothers went way above and beyond for me. The technicians were great installing an AC and furnace in my hot, dirty cellar. They remained upbeat and good natured even when it was 90+ degrees in my house. They were a pleasure to work with. I shopped around and found that they were competitively priced. My parents and sister have been using them for decades and have always had good things to say about them. Here's where Poston Brothers really went above and beyond. In the days between having the furnace installed and having it started up (they have separate techs do these things for safety purposes before having the state inspect the furnace/AC), I had Calloway Cleaning "clean" my ducts. The Poston Brothers tech who came to start up the furnace found that Calloway used only one hole to clean both the "out" vents and the "intake" vent, which meant they sucked dirt *through* the furnace (and the evaporator coil) instead of bypassing it, like they should have. There were inches of dirt, a rotten walnut, toys, and a ball of tin foil inside the brand new furnace. The Poston Brothers technician and the owner of Poston Brothers called the owner of Calloway for me, explaining what needed to be done to clean and fix the furnace and still keep my warranties in tact for this days-old furnace. Calloway admitted to the negligence, but refused to pay for Poston Brothers to do the work to replace and clean the parts that were effected. Mr. Calloway wanted to hire an outside company to do it cheaper, which would void my warranties - not to mention that I didn't want Calloway - who damaged my new furnace - to be choosing any vendor to do work at my house. Jay from Poston Brothers wanted my furnace fixed. He felt it was important to do it right and that it was right for me to have my warranties. He sent Calloway a very fair invoice with only cost and labor, no markup to fix the problem. Poston's owner accepted that I was going to have to bring Calloway to court (a long process), and he did the repairs and replacements anyway, without asking me to pay out of my pocket again. These are the sort of honorable people the Poston Brothers team is made of. I am extremely grateful to them. I highly recommend Poston Brothers. They will not let you down. I'm a loyal customer!

Provider arrived late but was polite & professional. I felt the cost was excessive given the reported labor time which I question. Will use someone else next time.

great-as expected

They're very efficient. They even tell you like put this on there in the time lapse. I don't remember the cost. They do a plan. They come on here, they put on their socks to make sure my floors and stairs are taken care of. They're really intense. Nothing, but the best. They don't say I'm going to be there and give you three hours or anything. They give you a time and if they're going to be late they give you a call. The people in the office are very nice.

They were great to work with. Very friendly, Reliable, reasonably priced. I was seeking a new service provider due to dissatisfaction with previous one that I had used for 3 properties multiple times over a 15 year period. Poston Brothers was great! there are my new HVAC service company.

From the very beginning when I was getting estimates from Companys, which I received 4, I chose Poston Brothers becasue of the knowledge and confidence I felt when Dan was giving me the estimate, he made me feel confortable , and answered every question I had so there was a feeling of trust.
This was a very positive experience, the instalation was done on time and clean up was great and the inspector was very pleased and said they did a wonderful job and they always do....thank you Poston Brothers for my new and safe furance and how considerate you were.

HER FATHER IN LAW HAD TO TELL THE ELECTRICIANS WHAT WAS WRON G, THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. THEY DID FIX THE PROBLEM
