great job,, the second time I used them - was as happy the second time as the first. Wall looks great, adds interest to the front yard. Blends in with the previous wall .

The wall is well built and very attractive. It adds a visual interest to our back yard that was never there. We are very pleased with the result. The project took about two weeks once it was started. We allowed Smith and Jolly to store equipment and supplies on the premises. Because of that, we expected that we would not be able to use our driveway. However, they very careful about cleaning up every day and making sure they left the majority of the driveway clear. The end result was that we able to park at home with minimal disruption. We were not home for most of the work. The workers we did meet were polite. They were professional and courteous answering our questions. We did not find a lot of trash in the yard after they left for the day while the work was in progress. There were no complaints from the neighbors. Gary, the project manager, was responsive and easy to work with. He took time to make sure we understood everything about the project and was open to ideas as the project progressed. He made sure we understood how changes we requested would affect the overall cost. Smith and Jolly was the most expensive estimate of the three we obtained to build the wall. However, it was worth it. The project went over the original estimate by about $1300.00. As the work progressed, we asked for changes and Gary was easy to work with. When we settled up at the end, Gary went over the additions and explained the additional costs. We never felt like the additional cost was unfair or unwarranted. Gary also provided payment options that helped make it easier us pay for the project. We can't know how the other contractors would have completed the job for the estimates they gave, but we are glad we chose the bid we did. In the end, we spent a little more on the project than we had planned to. But, we are very pleased with the result and we think it was well worth the cost. We think it definitely improves the value of our home.

very good.jeff smith was great to work with and his crew was very experienced with the materials they install. work was completed on schedule. jeff came to job site and worked with the crew. he checked all details of the job and made sure we were satisfied on completion. his crew cleaned job site and removed all scraps of material and debris. walls look great.

They have done a great job with our landscaping. We checked around regarding the price and I think their price was fair.

They have been really good! When they come out the guys he has sent out are great workers. If they don't do what he thinks they should do, he will either come in and fix it or send them back out here. He is very methodical about what he does. He is wonderful to work with and has a great personality!
