We hired them for two separate days, one day to load and one day to unload. On loading day, they dropped items off of the stairway damaging a custom made baby gate, took a 30 minute break and then requested reimbursement for the 30 minute overage of time in cash before they left. One of the movers was on the phone constantly with his babysitter. They removed doors to move furniture out and did not rehang the doors prior to leaving. On the day of unloading, they dropped boxes multiple times, did not follow multiple requests to not move furniture and boxes down the stairs on a dolly. We had to follow the movers around the home to relocate the boxes, they were left in the middle of the room as opposed to around the perimeter to continue to allow access into the rooms. On multiple occasions the movers indicated there was no more room to put boxes, however this was because they had blocked the walkways, bedroom doors and closet doors with placement of boxes. 7 fiesta ware coffee mugs were broken, bookshelves a desk and a two dressers all had gouges out of them following the move. A dolly and custom end table were dropped down our stairs causing significant damage to the walls and irreparable damage to the end table as it was a custom table. The end table went through the wall. Initially the owner said he would have someone come out and repair the damage but this never came to fruition. We sent the movers home early after they dropped the end table down the stairs without completing the job. We were absolutely NOT AWARE that there was an option to not give the payment code. All in all we paid $90 for services that were not rendered – an hour of time that we sent movers home on day two and for a 30 minute break on the first day. Additionally we are left paying to have the drywall repaired and retextured in our new home and left with multiple pieces of furniture damaged at an estimate of a little over $700 for a total of $790 plus the $410 we paid this company to move us. I am absolutely appalled that they have offered $100 to satisfy this. I would not recommend using this company, they do not stand by their work or provide a quality service. The owner responded to our email saying, "I don’t have time for this, this will be my last reply. If you want the check for $100, send me your address.’"
