Reddi Services Inc

On March 24th I called Reddi Services about a backed up drain. A couple hours later a guy shows up, snakes the drain out to around 60-70 ft hits something, pulls it all the way out and finds nothing on the snake. He tries again and once again hits something and starts packing up to leave. I asked about using a camera to check it out and he said it would be a waste of money since he hit something at the same spot it must be where the line elbows to the city sewer. He writes that I refused the camera, no warranty on the original receipt, charges me $99 and then left. Fast forward to today, April 29th and the line is backed up again. I call and explain that I've been in this house since 1978 and have only needed the line snaked one time in all those years, so obviously there's a problem that should of been figured out on the first trip. The lady pulls up the original, see's the no warranty comment and say's it's not covered. I explained the ordeal and she agree's that it should've had a camera run through it and says that cleaning the line today would be a "recall" at no charge, but I would have to pay for the camera work. I said I was fine with that as that would basically put us back to where I was in March. The guy shows up and after I explain the problem he has no knowledge that's no charge recall, so of course he has to make a phone call and once he gets the green light he starts running the snake, and makes sure I know that the free part is only for the first hour and if it goes over I'll have to pay for that. As we're talking I tell him I notice how much slower he's going compared to the last guy and he says he's just making sure it's done right. I said I'm curious to see what the camera finds, and it's at that point he tells me he doesn't even have a camera on his truck. So at this point I question why he's even here as I wanted to run camera down the line as soon as it was cleared. He just continues working, explaining how he's got 3 kids, and blah. blah, blah. He get out to around 60-70 feet and hits the same thing the first guy did. He fights with it for a while and then pulls it back it, same as the first guy, expecting to see tree roots. Instead he see's some mud on the end, says I have a broken line and there's nothing more he can do. He packs up his machine, tells me since the other guy didn't do anything wrong that's not a "recall", loads his machine and then charges me $99 for today's work. Why didn't I know about the broken line the first time? Because the "pro", Robert, told me not to have a camera run down it, then lied on the paperwork about me refusing it. See, here's the thing, he drained the washing machine a couple times to see if the drain flowed, but all that did was wash off the snake so he couldn't see the mud on the end. The guy that was out today filled the drain line at the start of the job, so he would know when he found the blockage, but then never ran anymore water, even after clearing the blockage, so he was able to see the dirt on the end of it. So, now I've spent $200 to have my drain line cleared twice and I still have a problem. I don't know where because the dispatcher didn't send a guy with a camera out, even though I requested one. I should not of had to spend the $99 today, especially considering the guy called and found out it was free before starting. Needless to say, I'm disputing the charges on my credit card and will never recommend Reddi Services to any of my friends, family or the millions of people my job gives me access to everyday. . . I work in radio.

I purchased the sump pump deal, and they were here the next day. The worker was very friendly and efficient, and I couldn't be happier with how fast they were able to get my new pump installed. I wish I could remember the name of the person that installed it, but I am not good with names. Regardless, it was a great experience and I will do business with them again :)

The time it takes as a someone who works out of the home to deal with things of this nature is 'inconvenient' at best so I was excited to get that dang knob fixed while having to deal with the back up drain. Customer Service wise I think the best response would have been.."I can fix that for $75 or whatever". I had mentioned it had been like that for months so it was an opportunity lost for them. My husband took it apart the next weekend as I was adamant it was just a screw...only to discover it was a project! It's fixed now. I wouldn't say the service was bad, I would say it was unfortunate missed opportunity. I think the eagerness to work is what would prevent me from calling them back not the quality of work.

Reddi said they'd show up on a Thursday to do the work but then called to try and move the appointment up. I couldn't with work but could make the original appointment time - per working it out with my employer. They never called to reschedule once they missed the appointed time. Once I did finally get a hold of them, which was a challenge because I was out of town that weekend, my sewer line was completely backed up and I had a mess. They did make a Sunday afternoon service call and didn't charge me extra for weekend work since there had been a number of missed opportunities to get the work completed.

He showed up on time. He cleaned out the drain. And was finished within about 45 minutes.

A water line to the bath tub burst and I had to shut the main water to the house off. I called Reddi around noon I was told someone was on another job in my area and would be able to come over that afternoon when he was finished. I called back at 4:30pm when I hadn't heard from anyone. The lady told me the service man was still finishing the other job but would be able to come over afterwards and that I would get a call when he was on the way. I received a call back from the scheduling lady at 5:30 telling me that nobody would be able to come to my house that day. When I explained to her that I had no running water and had been waiting all afternoon she said she would get someone to call me and come that evening. I did not get a call that night. I had to drive my kids to my parents house the next morning so we could shower and get ready for work and school. I called another company called R-Mech and they had the problem fixed that same morning. The lady from Reddi finally called back late that afternoon wanting to reschedule. Very disappointing.

I’ve used them for the last 20 years. They always responded immediately. They come in the middle of the night and you don’t have to make an appointment. They call when they're getting close. I like their customer service. They took care of the problem and the price was fair. And comparative with anyone else’s.

They were good. They were really easy to get hold of and they were prompt. The price was fair.

My experience with Reddi Services was pretty good. They did a good job. They even came as late as 10 O’clock at night. They did dig work. They did two concrete in the basement. They replaced tile. They also had to auger out three roots. They had to run a camera in the main drain. The thing that stands out is that on two occasions even at an inconvenient time for any kind of service, they came and took care of it and didn't seem to charge me for coming out much later or coming out on a weekend. They do try to work with you.

They were prompt and reasonably priced, and they did a good job. The work was fine. It was all very good. It was reasonably priced for what I wanted done. I'm not sure if the problem was solved but it's going to take a while to see. I noticed the other day that it was a little bit slow again so I'm not sure that they have completely resolved it.

It was good. They didn't charge us anything. It was a good value. They came out, they showed us what was wrong, we asked them what we owed them, and they said they didn't do anything so there was no charge. They seemed like an honest company that comes out and values the customer.

We had a good experience with them for sure. I think they were there like the next day. Overall it was good. They were professional. The guy wore covers for his shoes. He came in and talked to us but didn't try to oversell or anything. Overall we were very pleased. Their price was actually very competitive.

I called and made an appointment with Reddi Services for first thing in the afternoon. They were supposed to call me at noon to confirm that I was home and come to repair a clogged sewer line. When I didn't get a call, I called and was told that they were running behind but that I was next in line and it would be a couple more hours. Again, no call or technician at 3:00 PM so I called them again and the person told me he didn't know who I talked to, but a technician wouldn't be available until around 6:00 PM. I told him the name of the person that I talked to at 1:15 PM and he seemed to recognize the name, but didn't change the estimate. I waited until 6:00 PM and then called again, got an "overflow" service representative and had to give her all the details of the appointment and she would have Reddi Services call me, since she didn't work for Reddi Services. I got a call from Reddi Services at 6:30 PM and was told by the Reddi Services representative that it would be another 2 hours, but the technician would show up that night. I explained that I felt that this was very unprofessional. They should've simply told me that they would have to squeeze me in today and it might be late that night before that they could arrive to do the work. I had taken the day off to handle this and didn't like the company coming out to do the work at night, since it was going to have to use a roto-rooter to clean the sewer line and it was going to be very loud. I have neighbors and didn't want to keep them up with the noise. I told her that I would wait and did. At 9:00 PM, no technician had arrived or called, so I called another plumber and made an appointment for the next morning. As I was finishing my call, the technician from Reddi Services arrived, so I told him that it was just to late to begin and that I was going to wait until the next day to get the work done by a different plumber. I was nice to the plumber, since he was not at fault and might have been a very good plumber for all I knew. The fault lies with the company leadership that is willing to stack customers up in the que and feed them false information.

Had a super experience. We had a clogged kitchen sink and the more we tried to fix it - the worse it got. Went to Angie's List and saw the recommendations for Reddi Services so gave them a call - even though it was Saturday. They arrived within 90 minutes and the young man was polite and professional. It took him just under an hour and he fixed us while also providing us with some great cleansing solution and advise to prevent the blockage from occurring in the future. The cost was under $100 and there was no upcharge or surcharge for Saturday service.

There was a technician in the area and was at my house in less than an hour. Diagnosis of the problem took him less than five minutes and the cleanout was completed in 20 minutes which included getting the equipment into and out of the basement. About 30 minutes total time.

Did not need to use this company. I never contacted them.

They were good; we liked them and they were prompt. We all tried for some time to find one of the tanks so they only charged us for one and were very reasonable. The fellow that came out was a real nice guy and was pleasant to work with. The professionalism of the team that came out was excellent. I price-shopped and their price was the best I found so I was happy with the price.

The service was excellent. I am glad that I had them do it as it saved me money through the insurance company. I would definitely hire them again. They were professional and they got the job done. They were informative on how bad the sewer was.

This was the worst customer service I have experienced since moving to KS. I have used this company previously to service my furnace and didn't have any problems, so I immediately chose them to help with a leak from a pipe on our sump pump. Well, I called initially on a Monday, the person who answered the phone said that he would contact the office to let them know about the issue. I didn't hear anything back, so I called the number again and got the office manager. It wasn't urgent (we unplugged the pump, so it wasn't leaking any longer); so I told her that we could wait until Saturday. At no time did they give me an approximate time for the service. On Saturday, I called around noon to see what the status was. I was told "we don't have a technician available, but if you have errands to run, we will call and give you 30-45 minutes to get back home." Finally at approximately 5:30 that evening, I got another call and they stated that they wouldn't be coming at all. They offered to come either on Sunday or another day. I suggested Monday since I planned to be home the entire day. Once again I was not given any expected time of arrival. After waiting all day, I finally received a call at approximately 5:10 pm saying that they had someone available and were willing to come over at that time. Unfortunately, I did have another appointment (which I had planned around expecting to have a service tech arrive some time during the day). Again, this was the worst customer service I think that I have ever had with any company. When a customer has to reschedule a service appointment, you would think that customer would be given the first priority the next day that they rescheduled (at no fault of the customers). But, obviously not with this company.

East to schedule appointment, friendly. Time "slot" was early afternoon- they do not give specific times, nor even a 2 hour window. Repair man finally arrived around 8 p.m. (I contacted intermittently to so if they were still coming). The job took much longer than anticipated - saw lots of moments of poor time management - standing around while waiting for washer to fill when equipment needed removal to the truck, etc. Service person was polite and informative, though seemed rather inexperienced. The job got done, albeit quite late and with difficulty.

I had Reddi Services come out in June when I first bought the house to ensure no future problems would pop up after moving in. After reconstruction on the house, we moved in Late November. Within one week of moving in, the main line started backing up and coming out the clean out and shop toilet. I called and was told someone would be out that afternoon, two hours later we received a phone call saying they would not make it out till the next day. They showed up within 30 min of call ahead, and was informed I was it was not covered under warranty. As the tech started cleaning out the main, he reached his limit on his reel and said everything was clean, but it was still backed up. I told him the previous tech in June said the same thing. The current tech said he would add some cable on since he didnt feel it reached the sewer. After attaching the extra cable, within 10 feet the clog was found and the sewer was right after that. After calling the next day to ask why I would be billed, I was told it was not covered under warranty. The first tech never added any cable and told me he went all the way to the sewer, in which he did not. WATCH how the techs write up the report before you sign off on the bill, they said the first tech didnt write the footage he cleaned so they can't say he did or didnt go the distance to the sewer. Needless to say, its my word against his and I lose out on another $120... I will never call upon this company again.

They never kept the appointment. I would be given an appointment and no one would show up. Also, the dispatchers are on different pages. I would get a call from one at 830, asking me what time I would like and then another would call me a hour later. Technicians that came out were courteous and what not, but if anything needs to be documented as far as the companies side, don't trust it. Very disorganized.

It didn’t take them very long to fix the issue. They come right out when I call them. They are better than most plumbers. I felt what they charged for the service was expensive. I have been hiring them for about 20 years for my plumbing issues. I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services because they come right out even if it’s in the middle night.

I bought an Angie's List buy now/deals. old garbage disposal removed, hauled off, new one already purchase from amazon.com installed within 15 minutes.

Plumber arrived late, price was too high. I signed his paperwork and he left after I explained that the price was too high and I could find someone to do it for $49.00 on Angie's List. He turned off the water to my house before starting work or giving me an estimate. I still don't have water in my home as of this moment.
