Fine, they honored a coupon I had from Angie's List. The worker was very cordial and professional. He was even able to fix the dent in the bottom of one of the doors which I was thrilled about. However, since these were Overhead doors installed many years ago, they seem to be the only ones with the proper seal, according to another company that was out here. Their price quote ended up being about twice as much as what I was quoted from a few other companies but they were unable to perform the work due to the uniqueness of the door seal to begin with. Cost was quoted at approximately $300.00 for both doors. With the discounted coupon it was 270.75.

new doors were installed. Also repaired some termite damage. The tech had enough knowledge and experience to repair the wood around one of the garage doors and then do the install. Wasn't fun to see the damage, but I knew what it was and that it needed to be repaired. Very efficient and professional! Also installed opener on one side.

My garage door died at 9 AM. I called Overhead Door and they said someone could fix it between 12 and 4 PM. Chris arrived at 1 PM. Chris called about 45 minutes before he arrived and he completed everything in a quick orderly manner. He also took off 5% since I was a senior. He asked if I had a HomeLink in my cars and he programmed them. I can't imagine anyone on the planet doing a better job!

The garage door is fine but not the keypad.

They came out and assessed the problem and gave me options. They were reasonable on their price. It took about 45 minutes to an hour to repair the door. It was a very good experience.

The sales representative came to my house and was very helpful and informative. I placed an order. I was contacted close to the time the garage door would be delivered and an installation time was scheduled. The installer arrived timely and did a great job. Everything was reprogrammed for me and all my questions were answered and new features were explained.

Great! The technician found the small problems and rather than sell us new units (which is what I thought I needed), fixed the issues and offered to do the lube service, which is only a little more money than coming out in the first place. Now all three garage doors are working better than ever!

Overhead Door Company worked us into their schedule on a holiday weekend. They installed new torsion springs and cables, balanced and tested the door. The technician was very knowledgeable and polite. We have always had very positive experiences with this company and this time was no different.

I needed a complete replacement garage door, tracks and springs installed. The original 50+ year old door had quit working completely. The board the left track was mounted to was cracked when the left spring broke and crashed in to it. The service tech that showed up do the estimate, Tobin, was on time and professional. We talked about the replacement door options and the repairs that were needed and that my current opener would be adequate for the new door. I accepted the quote and scheduled the work for 2 days later. The service tech, Marshall, was on time and professional. He removed the old door and tracks, replaced the broken board and mounted the new tracks, springs and door. Marshall took the time to make sure the new door fit my old house and still finished on time. He even made an extra trip to get the parts needed to raise the track height so stepping out of the house down into the garage had more head room. I've had the door four months now and it still works great! From start to finish Overhead Door was professional, on time and did the job they promised. Based on my experience I can recommend Overhead Door Company of Kansas City.

Amanda was very pleasant and helpful when I called with my questions and made the appointment. John, the service technician, was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

Shawn called within 10 minutes of the call for service, and arrived 10 minutes after that. After installing and trying to adjust exact replacement springs, he determined that the specifications of the original springs were insufficient for the weight of the door. He then removed them and installed the proper, heftier springs without any prompting and he maintained the previously quoted price despite doing almost twice as much work. All in all a good service experience.

nstalled new garage door and opener in Dec. 2012, had to replace inside button March 2013 - defective. PM service poor - so found another provider who provided better quality service and cost less. Now outside key pad does not work - and this was supposedly one of their recommended best product? We have had other problems - they will stand by their product by charging you to fix them. Our other garage door we have had zero problems during the last 7 years.

I called Overhead door and spoke to a sales representative and informed them that I was in need of a new garage door opener and that the only two functions that I wanted was speed and quiet. I was told that the best garage door opener for both of the things I needed was the Liftmaster which was priced over $500. Even though reluctant at this price, I told them to order it and I scheduled a time to install it. The installation guy did a great job yet I was not home so I could not see how well the garage door worked. When I arrived home and pushed the open button, the opener was slower than my old one which was pretty darn slow. I called an complained that this was not what I had asked for and I was told that they don't sell garage door openers that go any faster than the one I had installed. I know this is not true because several of my neighbors have lift masters which are very speedy, unlike this one. I truly feel the sales person wanted me to buy the most expensive one so they she received a higher commission. I asked for a refund and a different model to be installed yet I was only offered a $50.00 credit. I checked my credit card statement and this was never issued per what I was told so I had to call again to remind them and they stated it was an "oversight" and they would issue the credit. Now, about a month and a half later, the garage door won't shut. There is an error code stating that there is an obstruction yet there is no obstruction. The engine in this thing just isn't strong enough to move the garage door anymore. I called several times (Its a Sunday today) and was put on hold stating that a representative would be with me shortly, then the system hangs up on you after about 5 minutes. How ridiculous and what a waste of time. I will never use this company again. They just want you to buy the most expensive unit and then will not respond when you are given the wrong product and when the product does not work. I am very disappointed.

The installation went well. All the work was done quickly and on time. The only reason I gave a "C" rather than a "B" rating is, after the work was completed and the technician had gone, I noticed there was only 1 light bulb installed in the overhead unit. When I called to request that they drop a second bulb off at my house, I learned Overhead Door Company doesn't supply bulbs for new installations. "Their technicians don't even carry bulbs in their vans". Supposedly, the bulb that was in my new opener came from my old one. When spending over $500 with a company, I expect them to include everything needed for it to function properly, including a couple of light bulbs. Or at least, offer the option to pay a little extra for a couple new bulbs. Since I have upgraded all my light fixtures to LED bulbs, I have no need to have extra bulbs lying around the house, and will now have to go pick some up...then get out a stepladder, remove the cover to the overhead unit and install bulbs. Something I thought I was paying Overhead Door to do during installation. I have used this company at least 6 times over the past 15 years, but may look to find a different company in the future.
