We had already purchased a new high rise toilet. Saw the coupon for kc metro plumbing on you website. Purchased the coupon after asking a question by email with the company. Called and set up the time of installation. Mr. Slavens removed our old toilet and quickly installed the new one. He made sure the new toilet was working properly and not leaking. He cleaned up well after the job was done.

Same as above. Everything is working well and he did just what he said he would and stuck by the price. Also told us to call if there were any issues or questions.

This is the third time I have used LJ's plumber service. As usual he did quality work, was professional and friendly.

I had 2 shower faucets that dripped nonstop. L.J.replaced both of them. I also had cast iron pipes that were leaking. L.J.replaced them with pvc pipes. No more leaks or drips. L.J. wason time, friendly, neat,and professional

TJ came out exactly when he said he would. I forgot to remind him of the Angie's List member 10% discount when it was time to square up. He seemed to want to sell replacement instead of parts, which I understand, and in the case of the toilet, I was onboard because it was a cheap toilet from the get go and I knew it hadn't been installed properly. I think TJ was fair in his prices, though, so I would call him again. I also liked that although his first solution might always be the bigger ticket solution, it's worth mentioning that it would also be the solution that lasted longest, as in the case of the ball valves. I was working in a budget yesterday though - which is usually the case for me - so I had to pick and choose some of his solutions and come back to others down the road. Overall, a good experience and I'd call him again.

TJ did a great job. He was very professional, and explained every step of the process. Very responsive to questions, and left the area very neat.

It took quite a while but it was all finished.

The quality was great. Their responsiveness was initially good and then we had a lag time. They were here when they said they would be here. I would use them in the future. The second job was perfect. No complaints. Will be calling them in the near future for more work.

Excellent. LJ was professional, kept me updated on the progress, explained exactly what was wrong and got my ok before proceeding. The workmen cleaned up after they were finished and the basement is cleaner than it was before they arrived.

Great job! Real good guys, worried about doing a quality job (my number 1 priority). They took the time to do it right, I'd be happy to use them again so that I don't have to call someone back or have someone else re-do the job.

From start to finish it was all A's. I was amazed - at the price and the service. They cleaned up after themselves and got here on time. Both things I am not used to finding in a service provider.

My entire house (it's a small 1940 house) needed to be re-piped as the original cast iron was no longer functioning properly. I called them on Friday morning, they came on Friday evening and gave me a bid. I had a couple of other bids on Saturday and they were the cheapest. I called them Monday and they did the entire job on Tuesday. Very nice, professional, quality and efficient. Would highly recommend. An addition to this review: I used this company again, more recently, for a sewer line cleaning. Again, excellent service. I have their number programmed into my phone for all future plumbing issues.

Besides fixing everything, they also came on an 7 PM evening call --the only company willing to do so. Later they tried to locate the water heater company to see if the warranty was still in effect. While it wasn't covered unless we had a receipt, they did their best to help. They were very professional and pleasant, explaining everything they did.

I have had a sewer gas smell in the house on and off for a couple of years but lately it had gotten much worse. I called LJ at Jo Co Home Service and discussed it with him. The first time they came out they made suggestions that I could try on my own and hopefully fix the problem. I appreciated this and there was no charge for the trip out, or the advise they gave me. Unfortunately, what I tried did not solve the problem as I still had the sewer smell. I called LJ and discussed the problem again and made arrangements for them to come out. They performed a smoke test and determined the master bath toilet was where the odor was coming from. They replaced the toilet and redid some of the plumbing work to our total satisfaction. The smell is gone and I am not embarrassed to have company in the house again. I would definately use and reccommend Jo Co Home Service again for my plumbing needs. The guys are very friendly and kept me informed every step of the way with what they were doing.

The kitchen sink backed up and I thought I had caused it. After an evening of trying to unclog it, I called KC Metro Plumbing (dba Johnson County Plumbing at the time). They got to my house the same day and surveyed the plumbing. They told me the hourly charge to snake the drain and started working. After less than 1 hr, they discovered that the drain wasn't clogged. The pipe that runs from the sink down into the basement and under the house had collapsed (under the house). Bummer! They took time to figure out which method would work to fix the problem that would work best with the way the house is built. Since it was late in the day, they said they would come back the next day. Instead of hammering up the basement floor to get to the pipe, they abandoned that pipe and capped it off. They ran a new pipe along the ceiling of the basement and through a basement bathroom to hook into the main. They were prompt, professional and friendly.

L.J. showed up in a clean vehicle, was very presentable and cleaned up after himself after completing his work. He was very good to work with and the amount he charged was very reasonable. I would recommend him to friends and family alike.
