John was the first to respond to my Angieslist email inquiry.  He came to the house and gave us an estimate.  He described the sprinkler system in detail as well as the installation process and answered all my questions.  He seemed very knowledgable and experienced and there wasn't any pressure to accept his bid which was nice.  He left me with the proposal and I only needed to mail it in if I decided to accept it.  About a week later, I mailed it in and he called right away when he received it to let me know what to expect next. 
    John said it would be about the end of March that his crew would come to install the system.  He came by and flagged the areas where the heads would go and shortly before the crew came to install the system, the utility lines were flagged.  The system took two days to install just as expected, and the crew only needed access to the garage on the second day in order to install the Controller.  The overall experience was excellent from start to finnish.  There was never any friction or pressure and everything went as planned.  The system is great and is well worth it to have.  It is only a few days after installation and you can hardly tell that the grass was disturbed at all.  We were mainly interested in the sprinkler system for our lawn but John was able to adjust the heads to water our flower beds as well which was a nice bonus.

Great experience!  We have recommended him to many friends.  He wowed us from the beginning when last summer when John came out to give us an estimate, he recommended that if he had money to spend the first thing he would do is replace the water main coming in from the street.  We live in a home built in the 1920's and by examining main pipe coming into the house, he was pretty sure it  had never been replaced  His advice was to get the water flow up and then install the lawn system at a later time.  Wow- he was willing to give up income at that point to tell us to do the right thing. 

We are extremely satisfied with the system John installed.  He spent a lot of time with us working up a plan, providing us with both higher cost options and lower cost options, giving us benefits and disadvantages of both.  He asked us questions so he  understood what our needs were and provided us with lots of information that helped us make our decision.  He very patiently answered all our questions clearly and thoroughly.  HIs price was on par with others.  John and team were punctual, very respectful of our property. He even offered to come back in the fall to put in a couple of heads so he didn't tear up a flower bed- he put down a soaker hose to get us through to the fall. We get great coverage with the heads and no areas are being over watered.

He was very prompt on providing an estimate, starting the work as well as completing the work.   Took a lot of time to teach and demonstrate how to program and operate the system.   Also gave me advice on future landscaping lighting..    I took bids from three different companies, and his pricing was fair with no surprises.  I will use them again in the future for both sprinkler expansions as well as possible landscape lighting projects.  Highly recommend !

Great, I've used John for repairs to my sprinkler system in the past.

John Monaghan is the owner of the company. He doesn?t answer the calls, but he always calls back or comes out. When I had to get something fixed, he came out and fixed it without additional charge. He told me that it wasn?t broken. He asked to wait till the spring. Finally, during springtime, my guarantee had expired. However, he still came out and fixed it for free. I feel like he has always been fair. He charges $40 for the service calls. He does service twice year during spring and fall. I really like working with him. He is a good guy. I?ll continue to use him in the future.

I selected this company from among 3 bids and I think we did ok. The bids were very much in line with each other so the deciding factor was how quickly the system could be installed. We managed to get seed down and some lawn established prior to the system shut down in November

The owner, John, was very easy to work with. He had just recently repaired my old sprinkler system and gave me a bid on installing a new one. His price was in line with other companies' bids, and he gave me a discount based on the past repair. I went with John because he was proactive in contacting me, he was very responsive to my calls, seemed trustworthy, I had a friend who had recommended him, and his price was right. He was extremely punctual, even early, to get my work started and got it done quickly. His crew seemed friendly and hard-working. Overall, a great experience.

John is the owner and he gets everything done. He is a very trust-worthy individual. I would definitely use them again. I saw that in the end that my sprinkler system was a great fit for my yard.

JOHN IS THE MOST RESPONSIVE PERSON. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, HE WILL COME OUT QUICKLY. HE WILL SAY HE IS REAL BUSY AND IT MIGHT BE AWHILE AND THEN HE SHOWS UP IN AN HOUR. HE IS ENJOYABLE TO BE AROUND. HE IS THE BEST CONTRACTOR I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. HE INSTALLED OUR SPRINKLER SYSTEM OVER TEN YEARS AGO AND ALWAYS TURNS IT ON IN THE SPRING AND OFF IN THE WINTER. HE RESPONDS TO ANY PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. TOOK EXTRA TIME TO EXPLAIN OUR IRRIGATION SYSTEM. WORKED WITH US TO ADJUST IT TO OUR LANDSCAPING... ALL WITHOUT CHARGING EXTRA.
