My system has a pump, and Sprinkler Works takes care of the whole thing in Spring and Fall. I give Sprinkler Works my highest rating, and consider them a partner in the quest for a beautiful lawn.

Sprinkler Works did a nice job of scheduling the activation and winterization of our irrigation system, sending us postcards of proposed work dates. They arrived at our home on the date indicated, and their work was fine. Their prices were also good.
If this is all someone wants of their Irrigation Service, then Sprinkler Works is fine.

Our primary concern is that we desire an available and quot;partnerand quot; in supporting our irrigation system that is responsive to our changing landscape needs and proactive in suggesting how the system might be improved. Sprinkler Works has been, and still is as best we know, mainly a one person operation, with a spouse sometimes returning voice messages a day or more after a call. I.e., they have not had an occupied office during the work day during recent years. So, whenever we have had an irrigation system special need, it has always taken at least a couple days and often several days to establish contact. We are also looking for an irrigation company that periodically has a trained employee drive by our home every couple of months, look at our lawn, and proactively make suggestions as to new sprinkler heads needed, relocating existing ones, adjusting head spray angles, increasing zone watering times, etc. Sprinkler Works has never suggested or done this for us. It seems to us that the Spring and Fall are the busy times for irrigation system companies, so summer represents a great time to check in with customers as to how their systems are operating and make any modifications. And, of course, summer represents the best time during which special irrigation needs will be apparent - such as the case this year when July was especially hot with almost no rain. We are currently having another irrigation system company make some changes to our system due to concerns that became apparent during July.

One specific incident worth mentioning is that earlier this year (2011) our home water piping started exhibiting loud and quot;water hammerand quot; when a certain part of the irrigation system was operating. After a few days of trying to contact the owner of Sprinkler Works, via their office number, we spoke to the owner on the phone and were assured the cause of problem was not in our irrigation system piping (but probably due to other possibilities such as low water pressure). This led to some time-consuming interactions with the Water Company, including two trips to our home by water company personnel, at which time a problem with an irrigation system supply valve was found. We hired another irrigation system company who then fixed the problem.

So, if basic irrigation activation/winterization service is what a customer desires, Sprinkler Works does a nice job. In our case, we want a closer working relationship with a company that does more in special need situations and is more proactive in periodically reviewing our system and making improvement suggestions.

We love him and he did a great job. We will absolutely continue using him.

On schedule and as expected as usual. I have used this company for several years. Bob is always prompt in responding to phone messages and addressing questions and concerns.

The price was in line with what we had been paying other people to do it. Bob is the guy who came out and he is really responsive. He fixed an ongoing problem that we had. We had been using somebody else for that and they were formerly recommended online. The other company couldn’t figure out where our water was coming from and they had dug trenches to drain the water. It turned out that it was our sprinkler system that had been dripping for two and a half years. So, he came out, told us the problem and fixed it. Prior to that, we were having issues with our yard not being properly sprinkled. He knows what he is doing. He gets out here and does it himself. The other company was using people who formerly had been doing telephone work and they weren’t really familiar with sprinkler systems. They were nice, but they didn’t know what they were doing. However, Bob has been doing it for a really long time. He is also very good at what he does. He not only does our yard, but he also does our two neighbors yards. We found him because he did our other neighbor’s yard and he has been doing her yard since they moved here eight years ago.

They are really good. He comes when he says he is going to come. He does what he is supposed to do at a reasonable price. This is great company and they deserve kudos! The owner is a really nice guy. When we need repairs he fixes things and always checks everything out. He is a really reasonable, good guy. They come every spring and fall, they send a post card out letting me know when they are going to come. I would recommend him to anyone!

They are reliable and show up on time. They also explain any repairs to maintain the system carefully. We will continue to use them for future service.

We have used them for 10 years. They are always able come out when we need them and they are always on time. They are awesome.

Sprinkler Works has been opening and closing our system for six years. We have been most pleased with the timeliness and thoroughness of their work. This is the first time we have had a problem occur and we were impressed with the quick response and resolution of the problem.

Left many messages, but won't call back. Very frustrating. If you request work on voicemail, they will magically show up unannounced, but the work gets done. Also, if there is a problem with the work, they will come back to fix it without charge.

They activated it, winterized it and fixed anything that is broken. They guy knows what he's doing and can fix a problem in a short amount of time. I've used them for years. He's a busy guy, but gets things done quickly.

WE TOLD THEM WE WERE ON A DEADLINE AND NEEDED IT QUICKLY. THEY NEVER CAME BACK, AND 'CLAIMED' THAT I SAID WE DIDN'T WANT AN ESTIMATE DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS. WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND REQUESTED A REFUND OF THE $169 FOR THE ONE YEAR SERVICE, AS THEY DID NOTHING FOR US AND WON'T RETURN OUR CALLS.

THESE GUYS ARE FANTASTIC. I WILL USE THEM FOREVER, AND LOVE THEM.

BOB IS A GREAT GUY BUT DOES NOT LIVE UP TO HIS OBLIGATIONS. BOB HAS BROKEN NUMEROUS PROMISES TO COME TO THE HOUSE. HE SIMPLY HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALLS AFTER HE WAS MADE AWARE OF THE BROKEN DRIVEWAY. BOB PROMISED TO COME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND MAKE THE REPAIRS. FAILED TO SHOW FOR MORE THAN THREE WEEKS CITING EXCESS BUSINESS AND NOT ENOUGH LABOR TO MEET DEMAND. WHEN BOB DID SHOW, HE WORKED HARD BUT HE FAILED TO COMPLETE THE JOB AND LEFT SEVERAL ISSUES REMAINING. THE SYSTEM CLEARLY IS BROKEN IN THE FRONT. IT LEAKS UNDER THE DRIVEWAY AND THE ISSUES DISCUSSED ON THE FRONT END REMAIN BROKEN WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE HEADS BEING MOVED INTO THE FENCED AREA AND A FEW HEADS BEING ADDED. HOWEVER, THE NEW HEADS HAVE ISSUES BECAUSE WATER NOW SPRINGS UP UNDER MY PAVER PATIO WHERE IT DID NOT SPRING BEFORE. THE BURIED HEADS REMAIN ACTIVE AND THE BURIED CONTROL BOX HAS NEVER BEEN BROUGHT TO THE SURFACE. BOB DOES NOT RETURN MY CALLS. THE NEXT STEP IS LITIGATION.

HE IS REALLY FRIENDLY AND PUNCTUAL. THEIR PRICES ARE GOOD AS WELL. I TRUST HIM TO COME TO MY HOUSE, EVEN WHEN IM NOT THERE. HE HAS DONE THE WORK ON THIS SYSTEM SINCE 1984. WEVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND WITH THE SYSTEM. THE CREW WAS ON TIME AND EASY TO WORK WITH. LAWN IS IN GREAT SHAPE, AND YOU CANNOT FIND THE LINE EVEN IF YOU LOOK CLOSLY. QUOTE WAS REASONABLE AND THE ACTUAL PRICE WAS LOWER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
