ok, although the worker went to the neighbors house after the time block scheduled. When I went outside to ask him was he doing the right home he replied yes and that maybe some other worker had my address on his list of to dos. I called the office (30 minutes after my scheduled block) to inform them and ask them why no one has shown. Long story short, once the neighbors house was done he came to do our system. ( 1 hour after my scheduled block). Needless to say I was a bit irritated.

It was fine, they came 15 minutes early. The young man was polite and I think he did a good job.

The office staff was friendly and helpful, arranged an appointment that was convenient for us. They showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, did the work and cleaned up after themselves.

Though our file says we have the insulated cover, it was never given to us. In spite of the fact that we don't control the weather, or the scheduling, we were going to be responsible for the frozen back flow valve. Because we never got the insulated cover, they are going to, thankfully, absorb the cost this time. Am not sure why homeowners are responsible for something over which they have no control: weather and scheduling. We obviously can't flush the drains or hire extra people for them. Something is not right here. At least we are getting the cover, albeit two years late!

They are a fabulous company. I won't use anyone else for sprinklers. They are always on time, courteous and knowledgeable. I love the office staff and when we have had trouble, they get to the heart of the matter right away. They make openings and closings easy even calling to arrange it.

Very professional and responsive. I ended up using the same guys that are doing my landscaping and saved a few bucks. Reasonable in price.

Super job as always. Work is scheduled according to zip-code, and unfortunately I'm the last to receive start-up and the last to receive winterization. I know that they offer to change this schedule at your request, but I hate to fuss. I did wish that I knew exactly when they planned to come to my property so that I could be there to discuss issues/problems or have them answer questions. Overall, I'm pleased with their service.

Barthuly Irrigation gave us an estimate for an entire yard estimate. They were very professional. However, their quote was $6,300, for our .48 acre yard. This is more than we wanted to spend. However, they were very nice and prompt in getting us the estimate.

They always do a great job! We sign up in late winter for these services, and we haven't had a problem with our sprinkler system since we switched to Barthuly. They have very competitive pricing too.

Very responsive, they appear to be doing everything right. We would hire them again.

We have good luck so far with this company. So far we recommend them.

Estimate for service was comparable (but on the high side by $100-200) to other companies. Reputation was the deciding factor in choosing them over other companies. Service was completed within a reasonable time frame. They took time to explain in detail the operations of the system. Timely response to service call for adjustments to the system included in price. Minimal disruption to the lawn during instillation and the yard looks fantastic now!

Called for estimate on a new system, they never returned my call.

We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about the cost of the work. Ken Barthuly called me & we worked out a solution that was satisfactory to both of us. The job was completed & we are happy with the system.

The service techs are great, but their telephone help is not so good.

SERVICE-ORIENTED COMPANY, ALWAYS GIVES ADVANCE WARNING WHEN SERVICE WILL BE NECESSARY. CARMEL REQUIRES CERTIFICATION FOR IRRIGATION SYSTEMS, AND THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL IN THIS AREA.

EXCELLENT COMPANY, VERY CUSTOMER FOCUSED. THE PERSON WHO DID THE WORK, ROBERT JACKSON, WAS VERY WELL TRAINED AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! I WOULD RECOMMEND BARTHULY TO ANYONE.

I THOUGHT ALL THE WORKERS WERE VERY NEAT. THEY LOOKED VERY PROFESSIONAL IN COMPANY UNIFORMS. THEY WERE COURTEOUS WITH MY QUESTIONS.

I LIKE THEIR SYSTEM--THEY EMAIL OUT A SCHEDULE BASED ON YOUR ZIP CODE OF WHEN THEY WILL BE OUT. THEY ALWAYS COME WHEN THEY'RE SCHEDULED, CLEAN UP WELL, AND ARE COURTEOUS AND POLITE. WE'VE USED THEM ANNUALLY FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY POSITIVE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY HELPFUL AND DID REPAIRS ON THE BROKEN HEADS AND VALVES. HE WAS CAREFUL TO LET ME KNOW WHEN HE WAS FINISHED AND WHAT TO EXPECT TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS.

I FELT THE JOB WAS DONE VERY WELL. THEY WALKED THE PROPERTY EVALUATING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SYSTEM AND MADE RECOMMENDATIONS. THEY PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE FOR HOURS AND MATERIALS, PERFORMED THE WORK AS QUOTED, AND LEFT THE SITE IN GOOD CONDITION. BASICALLY, AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.

JAVIARE (SP?) CAME OUT TO DO THE REPAIRS. HE COMPLETED THE REPAIRS, BUT THE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE HEADS THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM WAS NOT DONE WELL. THE HEADS WERE STILL HITTING THE HOUSE RIDICULOUSLY. THEY WERE NOT ONLY HITTING THE HOUSE IN SEVERAL PLACES, BUT THEY WERE ALSO MISSING THE AREAS ALTOGETHER THAT THEY WERE DESIGNED TO BE WATERING. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT THIS WAS DONE SO POORLY. WHEN I GOT AROUND TO CALLING BARTHULY BACK, MIKE THE SERVICE MANAGER SENT JEFF TO TAKE CARE OF US. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AT MAKING THE ADJUSTMENTS AND EVEN FOUND ANOTHER HEAD THAT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH AND METHODICAL.

Barthuly is required to send the water company the back flow test results; however, they keep sending an incomplete report. When Barthuly started up my irrigation system, technician 1 found a crack in one of the irrigation system pipes up against the house. He replaced it, got the system running, etc...The next morning (at 4:00am) these pipes start banging up against the stone exterior of my home. It is so loud it wakes everyone in the house. I call Barthuly to come back out to fix this problem. Technician 2 comes and works on my irrigation system, but is unable to make the noise stop. He (and his manager he talked to over the phone) decided it was a water pressure problem and leave me with the problem. I call back a third time and insist they come back out, which they were very reluctant to do. Technician 3 (who has one arm in a sling) comes out, tinkers with the system and gets the pounding noise to stop. Now, they're billing me another $60 for having technician 3 come out.

OWNERS AND INSTALLERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WERE WILLING TO MODIFY INITIAL PLAN TO MEET BUDGET NEEDS THAT INCLUDED A DETAILED PLAN OF THE PROPOSED INSTALLATION. INSTALLED LAST FALL (2004). ONLY COMPLAINT WAS INSTALLATION WAS AFTER RAINFALL CAUSING DAMAGE TO BACK YARD. ALSO HAD HUMPS WERE PIPES WERE LAID, BUT THESE WERE ADDRESSED AND REPAIRED BY THE COMPANY. VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH, AND HAVE CONTINUED ON THEIR MAINTENANCE PLAN.

WE INITIALLY WANTED THEM TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ON WHAT WE NEEDED TO GET COVERAGE. THEY CAME OUT AND DID REPAIR WORK, BUT WE REALLY WANTED MORE HELP WITH THE DESIGN. WE PUT IN A NEGATIVE REPORT, WHICH THE OWNER SAW. AFTER THAT, THEY CAME OUT AND DID A GREAT JOB. WE DID GET A LITTLE FRUSTRATED AT THE BEGINNING, BUT INITIALLY THEY TOOK CARE OF US.
