Scat Pest Control

A contractor told us he thought we had carpenter ants under a sliding glass door on the sun porch so we had Scat come out to check. After Daniel examined the area and described the appearance of a carpenter ant to us, we all felt sure there were no carpenter ants, just ordinary ants that had been attracted to some damp wood. He did a general insect treatment around the outside of the house and there is a significant reduction of bugs at the doors and in the garage. With the Angie's discount, it was a good value. I'll probably have them back next Spring.

I give them an A for everything; they did a good job, explained everything to me and my tenant. He was very patient, nice, professional and on time.

The owner answered the phone and was extremely helpful. He did not sell me anything that I did not need. Also, he recommended that we start with one treatment and then if in 3 months we need another treatment it would be at the reduced rate. The owner's son came out to spray. He was 5 minutes early. He explained what he was going to spray and answered my questions. He was very professional. The problem cleared up on one week as they said it would.

I would recommend them, the person that came out was very thorough, very neat. Didn't get stuff all over everything. They did a good job. They were professional and knowledgeable.

Matt arrived on time and was very pleasant. He took great care asking about the problem and answering my questions. He was very thorough in spraying throughout the house, garage and outside around the foundation. As he was packing up I asked him if this application would take care of the tiny ants I'd seen crawling up a porch post a few days earlier. He asked that I show him where, investigated it, sprayed and even helped me look around for other places they might be. He did a great job.

My home received excellent service. Time was taken to ensure I knew what services would be performed, the effects on my pets and what pests would gone. Bottom-line, we had a bug issue, now we don't.

He was very helpful, a very nice young man. While in the crawl space reported to me that it was very dry and I was wondering about the condition of the space. He fixed my garage door and refused a tip. Said a report to Angie's List was as good as a tip when I told him I would write to you.

This company knows what customer service is all about. The gentlemen on the phone was really pleasant, he knew exactly what bug was annoying the heck out of me, and clearly knew what he was doing. The technician came on time, was extremely pleasant and professional, did the job efficiently, and promised to come back if my friendly critters made a reappearance. I was impressed. I would highly recommend them.

So far, so good! Price is rated "fair" in rating chart below because I really didn't compare. I simply chose the highest-rated and most nearby exterminator per your listing. I certainly don't think the price was out of line, however.

I have not been unhappy, but he's attacking me for no reason on the phone and they're supposed to be a public company that you can schedule service with. I've been a client of theirs for 8 years and there was no altercation the last time we used them. He's not responding to me now.

I've been using them for years and they are very good.

The gentleman who came, Daniel, was very polite and friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He did indicate that they would have to return to do the outside portion of the job, as it was too cold to do this part. This seemed appropriate to me, as it was very cold. So far, no bugs, and we're very happy with the job done. We plan to have them do the quarterly maintenance plan.

Great job. The representative arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. He sprayed the entire interior and exterior of my home, including crawling into the crawl space, and spraying that as well. He also gave me a couple of helpful suggestions to move forward with. The product worked as the issue I had with ants was fully resolved the very next day.

They were extremely prompt, courteous, efficient, careful and thorough. Matt arrived at 2:00 p.m. on the dot, and he explained their services completely. He was very kind and patient. I was so pleased with what they offer that I actually asked to be one of their regular customers!

It's been nearly a week since the treatment and the problem has improved significantly. I'm seeing fewer roaches and most of those are dead which means the treatment must be working. I anticipate that within the next few days, I shouldn't see any roaches at all, dead or alive. The quarterly service will be $75 per quarter which is comparable to other services I have used in other cities. Mark did a great job trying to assess my problem over the phone so that the tech would be able to use the correct treatment protocol. John was prompt, courteous and professional. He explained what he was doing every step of the way by telling me the name of the product, showing me the locations where he was placing it and answering any questions I had along the way. I am looking forward to having them as a vendor and anticipate continued good service.

Because we have the maintenance with them, if we ever come across any pest we can give them a call and they will be out to take care of it at no cost. When they spray we have no problems, which is exactly what you want with a pest control company. They are the most punctual people, if they say they will be here at 9am, they are ringing the door bell on the dot. They are super friendly as well; a great company to have out.

They do not come in the house and only spray outside. They started at $50 and raised to $55. I have since received a letter stating is going up to $60. They seem to spray very quickly. They spray quarterly and I must continue on the quarterly or I would not get it at that price.

They are always clean and polite when they come. Since we have been using them we have had no signs of ants.

The young man who came was very informative and professional. He placed bait all around my kitchen.

Excellent, we are very pleased with Scat. They were very professional, arrived on time and were helpful with directions and tips on how to keep pest under control. After our initial call, they were to our house based on our availability, explaining their process and what they were using. They went through the entire house, including storage areas and other unused spaces. Most importantly, my wife is happy and comfortable with the company.

Excellent customer service - came out within a couple of days and have seen no spiders or bugs since they sprayed.

(JOB 1) The man came when he said he would, applied a powder as he said. It went promptly and well. (JOB 2) The job went smoothly and was exactly as Mark said it would be. The holes that were drilled were all filled and you can't tell anything was done. Mark knew we had had trouble with ants during the year, and he added an ant treatment along with the termite treatment for no extra charge. I was impressed with Mark when he had come out the year before to check on another problem we had. At that time, he checked our crawlspace and found signs of termite damage. I went in the crawlspace, too, to confirm what he told me and it all checked out. I really appreciated Mark's approach. He was willing to give me lots of information and said I didn't have to move quickly on deciding how to respond to the knowledge that we had termite damage. After researching the issue, I called him to do the work because I felt I could trust him.

Great. Gave good advice on the phone about why we had the ant infestation and then showed up on time to spray. Would use again for sure.

They are very clean, courteous, reasonable and prompt. I've never had to wait on them. I'm very satisfied.
