Scat Pest Control

Every quarter, after a receive a reminder postcard in the mail, I make an appointment for my home and grounds to be inspected and sprayed to control insects and spiders. The owner and his wife know me by name when I call, and are very accommodating of my schedule. I've always gotten a satisfactory date and time, and the service personnel have always been prompt. I've had only three different service people since I started receiving service in 2004, and the past five or six years have been fortunate to have the owner's son, Danie, perform my service. He always asks me if I'm having any problems, and takes time to talk with me about any concerns I might have. Daniel is as personable as the day is long, and I actually look forward to his visits. He always makes me feel comfortable talking with him, adjusts his spraying if I should have any concerns about a certain place in the house (there have been few, but as one example, years ago I had an occasional spider visit in my downstairs bathtub. When I told Daniel, he sprayed the drain, which stopped the problem completely. Had a more substantial invasion of spiders over the top of my back door, which rarely gets used, and he sprayed there, too, when I mentioned it. Once again, I've never had a problem since. He automatically does these extra sprayings without my having to ask again--what a memory! Daniel wears hospital-style "overshoes," to avoid tracking anything on the carpet, dresses nicely, and is clean and neat. Thanks to him--and SCAT--I have had almost no spiders or insects (when I do find the very few that intrude, usually in the garage, they're dead as a doornail). I haven't had anything inside the house in probably nine months. I couldn't be happier. SCAT allows me to pay my bill by having my bank send a check to them, which I initiate via my computer. That saves postage, paper checks, mailing supplies, and postage. There have never been any problems with payment. And best of all, through a miracle I rarely have the good fortune to see, the company has not raised my rate even once in the 7 years I've been with them. I couldn't hope for finer service, and am truly pleased to share my satisfaction and top marks.

First-time visit by this vendor and will continue using this vendor for routine quarterly or twice-per-year maintenance. Office staff and serviceman highly professional, courteous, prompt, and thorough. Pet friendly.

They came that day. They were quick to respond. The guy was very helpful, he explained what kind of bees they were and that they were not dangerous. He walked through my yard, and found several places where they were. He put spray on all the places they were. They were very pleasant, very affable. They made sure that they found all the problem places. He informed me it would be several days before they went away. I was very pleased to have that peace of mind.

Their staff is polite, friendly, and professional, both in the office and when they come to my home. They are always on time. They get done pretty quickly, but always take the time to say hello and check up on whether we're experiencing any problems. They provide a great service.

They were fine and very friendly. They told me what they were doing and explained everything to me. They also told me that I could call them back if I had any problems, so everything was fine. They came out the next day. They person that came and sprayed was very nice.

They got rid of all the insects initially and I have been able to do the rest on my own. They did a pretty efficient job. If necessary I will use them in the future.

I have been using their service for 4 years and they are fine. I have a contract with them. The people who come are very nice. They come and do the spraying and leave. They spray both inside and outside of my house. Their price is very reasonable, but I don’t know what other company's charge.

Mark came right on time. We were having problems with ants and house centipedes (ugly creatures!) He completed the service as I requested and was understanding about my concerns. He gave me advice on ways to help eliminate ants and house centipedes in addition to treatment. For ants he suggested moving one type of flower away from the house that depends on ants to bloom. For house centipedes he suggested removing their food source (ants) and their preferred living environment (a damp crawl space). He was very careful not to spray the door mats or the pets bowls outside. We didn't see as many ants that evening and by the next day we haven't seen any. I will be using them next spring if we have another problem.

They got rid of the ants. They are honest and don't push sales. If we don't need something done they would tell us that. They are pretty trustworthy, which is very important. They listen to our wants and needs. At the time my cat was still alive she was very old and weak. I wanted to make sure that they were careful with how they sprayed things because I didn't want anything getting on her fur. They were very careful when they were spraying. I have used them a few times. They have been great.

They use products that do not harm my respiratory problem in anyway. They came out as soon as the call was made. So they are responsive. They are locally owned. They did not try to sell anymore than I wanted. I would use them in the future.

I've used them for years. They are prompt and friendly. I've got good results with what they do for me. I had problem with carpenter ants and since I've used them I haven't had any ants and mice or anything like that. Their prices are high it used to be more in line with what I want to pay but now they have gone up like everybody else.

He told us there were things we could do on our own to prevent mice. They were very professional. They gave a 15% discount. He walked around the house. I though that was very nice to do that.

These guys are fantastic. They were very understanding about how many questions I asked regarding the chemicals used due to respiratory issues in the family. When they came they were super thorough and took care of smaller, unnoticed problems that could have become a real headache -- the bees setting up house in the attic and wasps in the very top of the roof line, etc. He made sure that we understood what to expect and that our spider problem would probably persists as the house had been empty for 18 months. Since he sprayed, I've seen only a couple of spiders and not the 100s like before, and no ants. I look forward to working with Scat on my carpenter bee problem this Spring and wholeheartedly recommend them.

I took them, put it in small bowl and put the lid on it and drove down there, went into the office and showed them the bugs. He opened the bowl, smelled it and said these are called Citronellium. They came out and sprayed and in hours they did a great job at an extremely reasonable price. In the past we have had problems with ants in the kitchen. They come out four times a year to spray and we have not had a problem until last Saturday. We had fifty billion people in our house because my daughter had a basket ball tournament so we had the whole team including the parents come in. All of a sudden on Monday I noticed these ants so I called them on Tuesday and they were out here within less than three hours because we have this service agreement with them. They came in and sprayed in the house free. If we find bugs they spray free. They are worth it. We have two cats so they use products that will not affect the cats and the kids.

They were very good and I will use their services in future.

They were good. They came out to make sure I did not have any termites. There were some old damages caused by termites so they came to make sure there were no new damages. They are punctual, thorough, and they explained what they were going and what to look forward for in the future.

The guy was very knowledgeable, polite and very helpful. My wife was here and she had a lot of questions and he answered them. His price was very reasonable and we were very happy with him. We are not sure about the effectiveness yet. We got an Angie's List discount. They were very prompt. They came within a couple of days of our call. He told us it would take a little while to gauge the effectiveness. We are contemplating doing some of the things he suggested.

I couldn't have had a better response. He was personable as well as knowledgeable. From the moment he came in to when he left, he was professional.

Almost eliminated my spider problems outside which is really difficult since we live on a lake. They arrive on time and are very professional.
