Craig's Locksmith Service

I locked myself out at one of the meridian mark buildings. Called Service provider and he told me he was on a job currently, but would be there soon. I told him not to worry as I was here until 2 (Call was placed around 9 am). About 1030 I got a call, came down and he unlocked me. Very quick and easy. Pros: Angie's List discount, which is always awesome! Secondly - Since I have full coverage on my vehicle, he showed me on my insurance card where I can turn in my service report from him and be reimbursed by my carrier as part of my full-coverage. Outstanding demeanor, can't say enough good things about the guy, would definitely use again

He was very prompt when we needed fast service. He came out at the end of the day to do the job. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

It was a positive experience, he was very professional and pleasant to work with. He really knew a lot about locks! He actually tried to see if he had additional parts on his truck to see if we could change out other things on the door to see if they would match. Would definitely recommend him! I would give him an A+!

He arrived on time. He showed us how home builders don't always cut depth of deadbolt deep enough. We realized our deadbolts were not fully turning. He chiseled out deeper space. Added electronic keypad deadbolts. Re-keyed 4 locks for our new home. The approximate cost of service also included electronic keypad locks.

The key set on the front door was broken, my husband removed to see if he could repair. It was obvious that there were broken parts and a new key set was needed. I contacted Craig's Locksmith Service after consulting Angie's List. I left me name & number and he returned my call within 10 minutes. Explained the problem and sent him pictures of the lockset so that he knew exactly what I needed. He called less than 15 minutes after receiving the pictures and said that he knew what we needed and had 2 ooptions on his truck. He was in the vicinity when he returned my call and since his next call was in Noblesville, he said he could come to our home first. He showed me the options for replacing the lockset and explained the differences and the prices. He made the required repair, he didn't charge for rekeying the new lock or for the extr key that he gave me. The repair was done quickly, efficiently and with explanation on how to properly maintain the lockset. If we have any future lock needs I will not heritate to use Craig's, he was more than prompt, polite, well groomed, knowledgeable and obviously skilled at what he does. I would give him A+ if it were an option!

Craig was very professional and helpful. He changed all the locks and showed us the keys worked. We called the day before we needed him to come. He showed up over an hour later than the timeframe he gave us originally, but he communicated with us the day-of so we knew he would be later. Craig told us to call if we ever have issue or questions, which we appreciated!

We called him in the early evening and he came the same day and immediately was able to remove the lock and open the door. Since he didn't have a matching (color) lock with him, he brought on the next day and replaced the old lock with the new one. We were happy with his work and will call him in the future.

I did not like how expensive he was, but other than that he seems like a pretty nice guy.

Not well and I felt like my time waiting was not regarded as important. I had a two hour window that was not honored and then I was promised that he would see me within an hour and never called to tell me he was delayed even more. I have never had an Angie's List service provided do this, but feel it was unprofessional service. Now I have to wait more days and find another service provider.

We moved in to a new house and wanted to get all of the locks changed for peace of mind. Craig was able to come out and take care of this job quickly. He took the time to walk me through the process and pointed out a potential issue with one of the doors. He was very professional. We would definitely use him in the future.

Craig arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He assessed each of the door locks and repaired them as needed. He also gave us a home security tour discussing how each door could be further reinforces to prevent unwanted/forced intrusion. He has all the necessary equipment, parts, and tools to finish the job. And finished everything in a timely fashion. We would definitely call him again!

They had done good work for us in the past so we felt confident calling then again when one of our older locks gave out. They came the next day and were able to fix the lock without changing the appearance of the door. We were very pleased with aspects of their service

Craig arrived about 2 hours late and was very apologetic because he got tied up at another job. Because of this, he discounted us on the work, which was very nice. He spent about 3 hours rekeying and changing some deadbolts in four doors at our home. He was professional, curteous and did a nice job.

Our daughter was pet sitting our neighbor's dogs. The lock had been very difficult to open since they had left.in fact, I had to go over and jiggle and work with the key for 20 minutes or more each time to get it open. On the third day they were gone, however, we just couild not get the door open, With the dogs barking like crazy inside the house, I ran home and looked up "locksmiths" on Angie's List. Craig's Locksmith had all "A's" , so I called right away., Craig himself called me back within a few minutes, after I explained the problem he said that he was in the area and could be here in about 10 minutes. He was here in just a few minutes. He was able to open the door after a few tries and a little bit of manipulation. He explained that the knob was almost totally broken and ready to fall off and our key had not been cut properly and would always be very difficult to use and that the only sure fix was to replace the knob and cut a new key. He did that, and keyed the new knob to fit the existing key to their house. Happy dogs, happy us, and happy neighbors who returned to a house with a nice, new, smooth functioning door knob!! I highly recommend Craigs' Locksmith service. He was prompt, extremely competent, and very friendly and helpful. He also runs a coupon which in this case saved me $15.00. Thank you Craig!!

We were getting ready to sell our home, so I was looking for a low cost way to make two locks utilize the same key for the new homeowners. He showed up on time and did the work quickly.
