removed all plastic ; rubbed of all the dark colored paint they applied ; sent the plastic back ; filed a fraud dispute with the credit card company. I see no reason to continue to communicate with known liars and cheats. I do not trust them with my cars anymore will not allow them to fix it even if they offered. DO NOT TRUST. DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH.
Description of Work: bought two new cars; buick encore 2014 ; buick verano 2014. encore went first. purchased gold shield and window tint. vehicle was inspected thoroughly by myself and noticed white specs on the interior and road tar on exterior rocker panels behind front wheels. vehicle was returned later than promised ; was not detailed on the outside or inside . part of the gold shield was a stripping of exterior , clay bar treatment wash and some diamond gloss. vehicle returned with road tar by wheels that looked exactly the same as the road tar on it before the " detail : . the inside had white specks same as before. the window tint had many tiny pin sized bubbles in it even after 60 days of summer. the passenger front window tint in the rear has a crease and is peeling up. the second car is a luxo blue verano. it was inspected and found to have scratches on it and tree sap marks on the front hood and trunk lid. again gold shield and window tint were purchased. this time the vehicle was on schedule. after the treatment the window tint was of same poor install quality as the encore even after 60 days. the sap marks were still all over. I confronted one of the men that worked there and was told that the tree sap was too deep in the paint and that it would need wet sanding and it would be and additional 80 a panel. I let that slide. well a year went by and it is time for the annual renewal of the treatments. I spent some time cleaning the verano and clay bar treatment and waxing and polishing. after the first clay treatment all the tree sap marks went away !! imagine that ; and ziebart only wanted 80 a panel !!! so I continued to compuound and wax and polish all the imperfections I did not like about the paint. I took it in on the scheduled date ; that pervious evening I was looking online at ziebart dot com to see what diamond gloss was and what they were gonna do. I did not trust them much after all the b.s. they shoveled my way. if they messed up I was gonna call them out on it again. I found some plastic bra deal the put on the front. my car sees a lot of highway and is only a year old and had some small chips. I had some touchup paint I had bought from stoops buick and was the 100% correct paint. I had used it previously to fix a door chip. so when I went to ziebart the morning of; I mentioned the bra. the guy there said he could have it all done today and it was only 550 and 80 for the door edge protector and 693 total with touchup paint service if I gave them my paint. so I paid up. I mean what could go wrong ? so I went on time to pick her up and to my amazement they put what looked like black paint on the front damage. then put that expensive plastic cover over. so I went in and got the guy and said, " why does my blue car have black paint on it ?" then the guy said , " that's the touchup paint YOU gave us." so I said " oh , well how does blue paint look black ?" then the guy said " well its still wet and its under that plastic , it looks balck it will dry in 30 days." so I said ah ok. went to dinner . thought about it. posted my beef on f.b. somebody replied and said they were sorry about it and they would call me Monday. ( incident happened Saturday 9-3) . so I replied. when will you call I will miss the call unless you narrow down a time for me to watch the phone. this was Saturday night. no answer. woke up sunday morning ; still no answer. so I went out to finish cleaning my car since ziebart can somehow apply interior protection and paint protection without cleaning any thing. so after I vacuumed the inside out I took another look at the paint. I saw a black spot , a good size , right by the edge of the silly plastic cover. I peeled it up and scratched it with my nail, IT WAS DRY !!!!!. I was furious. I peeled all that stuff off and took pictures. I got my touchup paint. which was full by the way. and applied some right next to the black spots. well my paint was exactly 1000000% match. the other was just plain old black . so I took more pictures and posted them in amendment to my f.b. review on ziebart plainfield. no reply. then I googled how to remove that stuff and found acetone. I got some nail polish remover and started rubbing. the cloth was blue. so it looks like they used the wrong color or at best didn't shake up my paint stick. however I have used my paint stick and I didn't shake it one time and it came out lighter milky blue. also the paint they used had 0 metal flake. my touchup paint is heavily flaked with metal. super shiny. I am certain they used the wrong paint. either way . I paid them 693 which I thought was ok price and they improperly repaired the paint then blamed me then lied about it. then whom ever is on f.b. was all blasé and was like ; ahhh ill call you Monday some time. if it were my business I would call you immediately and fix it that evening or give you a time or date or something more specific that , im sorry ill call you later.

Description of Work: Had two side windows re-tinted on Dodge Challenger under warranty as they were beginning to peal up at corners after 6 months. Car was returned to me a couple of times with minor defects in window tint (primary tinter quit recently and quality was less than expected). They offered to redo each time, no hassle. In addition, they offered a complimentary detail for the my trouble. Finally had tinter from Greenwood store retint window and now looks great! I was told that there have been problems with window tinting efforts on the Dodge Challengers. I would still return; hopefully not under the same circumstances though.

The week of 11-15-2013 I was having problems with my car just turning off for no reason. It would start with the remote start button and then when you would get in the car in put the key in so you can put the car in gear it would shut down or turn off. The car would also allow you to start the car with the key but then when you put it in gear it would shut down. Thinking it was a problem with the remote start I call Ziebart the installer and told them what was going on and if they thought it was the remote start that would be causing this problem. The person I talked to at Ziebart said it did not sound like it was a problem that would be caused by there remote or there installation. At this time I was looking at having to pay to have the car towed to this location which is almost right at a hour away. I called my all around mechanic to ask him what he thought and he said could be a number of things and the only way to find out would be to bring it in and have him look at it. I went out the following day and worked with the issue a little more and found that if I placed the steering wheel at the lowing position that I could start and put the car in gear. If you would raise the steering wheel the car would shut down. My mechanic is only 5 minutes from my home and concidering that if I took it to Ziebart and if it was not the remote start I would be looking at paying for a tow there and possible back to my mechanic which would be two trips that would take 1 hour both ways. Also taking into consideration that the person at Ziebart said did not sound like it was their problem or issue or cause by their remote. Taking all of this information I took my car to my mechanic which was only 5 min away. The result of the fix found that the issue was caused because of the way that Ziebart had installed the remote. The way that they tie into the wires had cause the wire to break apart which cause my issue. I went to Ziebart the following week and talk to the manager at the Plainfield Store and his name is Shane Stevenson. I went through what had happen and I told him that I felt that they should reimburse me $80.00 for the cost to repair the problem that was cause due to the way that they installed my remote start. Shanes bottom line was that Ziebart was not going to take any responsibility for the problem that their installer had caused. I asked him to elevate this issue to his boss and he said he would and someone would get back to me. Two and ha half weeks later no response from Ziebart. I called back and talked to Shane again and asked what his bosses response was and he said that they would not reimburse me for this repair. I for one will never use this location again and they are tied with the Greenwood Indiana store also. The bottom line for me is that the reason I had the problem is because of the cheap way that they install starters and there is a cost to have this fixed repaired if its done in there store or at another location. Also If the person at Ziebart- I had talked to had said that the problem I was having could be related to the remote start I would have had the car towed to the Plainfield Store but that was not the information I received .
Description of Work: This store installed a remote start to my car which included a lifetime warranty in 2009.

Week of 11-15-2013 Mr. (member name removed) contacted us with a problem he was having with his 2001 Cadillac that we installed a remote start on in 09/26/2009. Mr. (member name removed) was correct in the response that it did not seem like a normal problem to have after having the remote start installed that long ago. Our company stated that we would pay to have the vehicle towed to our shop to have it diagnosed just in case it was the remote start, but if it turned out to not be an issue with the remote start, he would then be responsible for the tow bill if we could not resolve the issue here FOR FREE because the remote start carries a lifetime warranty on parts and labor on any issue associated with the remote start. At that time, he refused to have our tow company come to pick up the vehicle. Mr. (member name removed) then came into the store in Plainfield. He and I discussed the situation thoroughly. He explained to me that he lived an hour away. According to the customers address it is 13.5 miles or 24 minutes, not an hour. He then tells me that there is no way his Cadillac was going to be towed ANYWHERE by Ziebart because in case it was not the remote start, he did not want a second tow bill. I assured him that we would have attempted to fix the issue even if it was not the remote start because excellent customer service and warranty is what we do and give. If I recall, the address on the bill presented to me for the mechanic was approximately 15 minutes away from Mr. (member name removed)s residence. It seems to me that it was more about convenience than resolving the issue. Only after the work was complete did I see Mr. (member name removed) in person with a bill. In conclusion, Mr. (member name removed) also signed our remote start sign off waiver. This document (member name removed)s that should the customer ever experience any issues to return to Ziebart first. Ziebart will diagnose the issue at no charge. Should the vehicle be taken to a repair facility prior to Ziebart being given the opportunity to diagnose and/or repair the issues Ziebart will not reimburse any costs incurred. We have the signed document on file.

Had and appointment at noon for running board install and inquired about the paint shield package and window tint options. Although it requires a lot of detail the dealership got the car completed by 4:30. Very pleased with the fast service and quality of work. It all has liftetime warranty.

I dropped the vehicle off the night before. I was told it would be ready by closing on the following day. We arrived to pick up the vehicle and it still wasn't done. We had to wait 45 minutes longer to get the vehicle. Upon inspection of the work performed, the interior was still filthy. It looked like they only cleaned the places they could see. I moved the seats forward and you could tell they didn't even vacuum under there. The seat rails where filled with dirt. They splashed mud all over the ceiling headliner and my CDs. The cup holders weren't cleaned. I could have done a better job myself. I went in and asked the manager to look it over. I pointed out all of the problems. He asked if they could keep the car and perform the work again. I told him that was fine. The next day we picked the car up and again it was filthy. They they cleaned a little better, but it was still awful. Their level of service is worse than if I would have done it myself. I expected a professional detailing to be like or very close to the way it was when I bought the vehicle used from the dealer.

Leather and vinyl get special cleaning and conditioning, as does fabric, which is treated with a formula that guards against stains and spills, and helps reduce fabric wear."

They are great. Jason even offered to stay open a few extra minutes when I called and said I had blown a fuse. He didn't want me to go the next couple of days without the radio working.
Description of Work: I have gone to Zeibart several times for different things. Every time I go Jason exceeds my expectations. I was able to get a trailer hitch installed in one day where the dealership needs 3 weeks to order a part. They installed a car starter with a key chain alarm pager for the alarm. They helped rewire a new radio and speakers after a theft.

The experience was great. Jason is the epitmoy of customer service. I am very hard to please. In most cases I feel there could always be improvement in customer service, but not this one. They went above and beyond to make sure my expectations were met. I was reluctant at first to spend the money, but after speaking with them I had no issue. Their installation guy was great. He had my whole car apart and put it back together with no signs of damage. I am 100% satisfied with the results. My stereo system couldn't sound better. I WOULD AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE WITHOUT HESITATION!!!!!. The whole experience was very stress free and pleasing.

The technician talked me through all the bells and whistles. I felt very comfortable when I left and the system I purchased has performed flawlessly. The wife got the same system in her car and that means I can set hers up as well.
Description of Work: My wife and I needed upgraded sound systems for our vehicles. I didn't really know what I was looking for when I arrived. The rep was very helpful and informative and even allowed me to get a CD out of my car to play in the potential system. Needless to say I was impressed. Their service and install department was very professional and competent. So I had my windows tinted and got "hands free" cell phone installed as well.
