Professional Garage Door

The serviceman did a very nice job. He arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and explained the problem clearly.

Craig quoted me a price to have a new garage door opener installed. The price seems reasonable and he had it on his truck, so I asked him to go ahead and install it. He was very professional. He explained all the details concerning the new opener because it was different from our old one. He also helped us to reprogram the opener in our vehicle. It was a very pleasant experience.

It was excellent. They offer a very affordable beautiful looking vinyl garage door.

I had stopped at home during the day with a little time in between appointments. I discovered that one of the support struts had broken, which was stressing the motor to try to raise and lower the door; not to mention that it looked like the motor could crash to the floor at any second. I called their service department. The person answering was very helpful and professional. Although it was just luck, they had a service tech who would be passing right by my house from the job he was just finishing and on the way to the next. The dispatcher had explained their charges clearly, and it turned out that the tech simply had to rehang the motor unit. It was such a quick fix that I was only charged the price of the basic service call. In all, service time was under an hour from the time I called to when the tech was leaving and I could go on with my day without fear of having the unit crash down on my car.

Craig was very thorough and informative. Arrived on time and installed the sections efficiently. He gave detailed instructions for installing the weather stripping, after sections were painted and cheerfully answered all questions.

Craig was the worker. He did an outstanding job. He came out on Sunday. Before coming out he gave me a very accurate estimate over the phone so I wouldn't be surprised by the emergency service cost. He was on time. He had the work done quickly, adding value by tightening all door bolts and oiling the door hinges.

Nice quality on doors however the people answering questions on the phone did not that we had ordered the doors four weeks before and they asked if we wanted an estimate when we had put our order in 4 weeks prior...........very surprising and disappointing

Quick response and job was handled professionally. The price seemed high because it was a very quick fix, but it was fair since it included a normal service call charge plus the new circuit board. They told me if there's a similar problem in the future to check the circuit board to see if it showed signs of being fried. If so, I could pick up a new board and install it myself to avoid a service charge.

IT WAS REFRESHING TO BE ABLE TO HIRE A COMPANY TO DO THE JOB, AND KNOW THEY COULD BE RELIED UPON TO DO IT RIGHT. WE ARE NEW TO ANGIE'S LIST, AND THIS IS THE FIRST COMPANY WE HAVE HIRED THOUGH IT. Company rep. came over to give us an estimate at our convenience. They also called a day or two before the installation date to confirm the approximate time of installation.

CHARMING YOUNG MAN USED A SLEDGE HAMMER TO GET DOOR TO OPEN AND CHARGED ME $248 FOR 10 MINUTES WORK. GOT THE JOB DONE, BUT I COULD HAVE USED A SLEDGE HAMMER IF THEY HAD TOLD ME.

THEY WERE PROMPT IN RETURNING MY PHONE CALL, AND GETTING THE OPERATOR ORDERED AND INSTALLED.

JEFF, IN SERVICE, SCHEDULED ME ALMOST IMMEDIATELY (AS THE GARAGE DOOR WOULD NO LONGER OPEN) AND THEN THE OFFICE CALLED ME WHEN THE SERVICEMAN WAS ON THE WAY. AFTER THE JOB, THE SERVICEMAN TOLD US TO CALL BACK IF WE FOUND ANY ADJUSMENT NEEDED TO BE MADE. THERE IS A 30 DAY PERIOD WHEN THEY WILL COME BACK FOR ADJUSTMENTS WITHOUT CHARGE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE.

INSTALLER ARRIVED A LITTLE LATE, DUE TO ILLNESS OF FAMILY MEMBER, BUT GAVE 100% ONCE HE ARRIVED. COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.

THE TECH THAT CAME OUT WAS CONDESCENDING AND TRIED TO BLAME THE GAPS ON A POOR PAINT JOB. HE BACKED DOWN WHEN I TOLD HIM THAT IT HAD BEEN PROFESSIONALLY DONE. WHEN THE 2ND ADJUSTMENT WAS NEEDED, I REQUESTED A DIFFERENT TECH (SINCE I WANTED AN HONEST ASSESSMENT). I ASKED FOR A THIRD TECHNICIAN AND EXPLAINED THE REASONS FOR THAT, THE DISPATCHER REFUSED UNTIL I CONTACTED ANGIE'S LIST FOR SUPPORT. THE DISPATCHER ALSO IDENTIFIED HIMSELF AS A SUPERVISOR WHEN I ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR. IT TOOK TWO MONTHS FOR THE FINAL ADJUSTMENTS. NOW THEY WERE COURTEOUS AT ALL TIMES, JUST VERY SLOW TO RESPOND. ONE TECH PUT EXCESS GREASE ON THE MOTOR TRACKS, WHEN I REPORTED IT, THEY PROMPTLY REMOVED IT. THEY ALSO WOULD NOT PROVIDE ME WITH COPIES OF ALL SERVICE CALLS TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS, EVEN THOUGH I ASKED TWICE. SOMETIMES MORE THAN A WEEK WOULD GO BY BEFORE I WOULD GET A RETURN CALL. THE SALESPERSON WHO I HAD THE MOST CONTACT WITH WAS DEBBIE.

I CALLED THE COMPANY AT 1:30 ON A MONDAY, THE SERVICE MAN ARRIVED AT 2:45, AND BY 3:30 THE DOOR WAS REPAIRED. I DID NOT EXPECT SUCH PROMPT SERVICE, BUT WAS DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO PUT MY CAR IN THE GARAGE AGAIN ON A SNOWY NIGHT. THE SERVICE MAN WAS QUITE HELPFUL AND POLITE.

THE TENSION COIL FOR OUR GARAGE DOOR UNRAVELED AND JAMMED THE DOOR ON A SUNDAY NIGHT. PROFESSIONAL GARAGE DOORS WAS THE COMPANY THAT ORIGINALLY INSTALLED THE DOORS. THEY CAME OUT MONDAY MORNING AND SAID IT WAS VERY UNUSUAL FOR A COIL TO BREAK LIKE THIS. THEY FIXED THE DOOR AND DIDN'T CHARGE US FOR IT (IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY). WE APPRECIATE THEIR QUICK SERVICE!

MY 3 YEAR OLD GARAGE DOOR BUCKLED WHEN I TRIED MOVING IT UP. I CONTACTED THE ORIGINAL INSTALLER BUT THEY ONLY HAD A 1 YEAR GUARANTEE ON THE DOOR. THEY OFFERED TO HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO LOOK AT IT. PROFESSIONAL GARAGE DOORS, HOWEVER, ASKED THE SIZE OF THE CURRENT DOOR, SAID THEY HAD ONE IN STOCK AND WOULD INSTALL IT THE NEXT DAY. I WAS UNSURE WHETHER IT NEEDED REPAIRED OR REPLACED. TAMMY WAS WONDERFUL. SHE SAID SHE WOULD STOP BY AND GIVE ME AN OPINION. SHE SAID IT COULD GO EITHER WAY BUT THE COST WOULD BE ABOUT THE SAME! SHE HAD HER REPLACEMENT MEN HERE AT THE CORRECT TIME THE NEXT DAY AND EVEN FOLLOWED UP WITH ME (AND I WAS OUT OF TOWN ON VACATION!). THEIR COST WAS LESS THAN THE PREVIOUS DOOR AND A MUCH BETTER QUALITY THAN PREVIOUS COMPANY'S DOOR.

I HAVE AN AGREEMENT WITH PROFESSIONAL GARAGE DOORS VIA MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH HOW THEY WORKED WITH ME TO RESOLVE AN INTERMITTENT OPENING PROBLEM ON A 20+ YEAR OLD OPENER. THEY HELPED ME UPGRADE THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. DARYL WAS FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND EFFICIENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COMPANY.

TOOK 3 ATTEMPTS TO GET THE RIGHT PANELS ORDERED.

THEY WERE OUT WITHIN ABOUT 2 HOURS. THE SERVICEMAN SEEMED VERY EAGER TO TRY AND NOT SPEND MY MONEY AS FAST AS HE COULD.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. SCHEDULED FOR SERVICE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF MY CALL. SERVICE TECH WAS ON TIME, VERY COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND OFFERED TIPS TO KEEP MY GARAGE DOORS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY SO I COULD AVOID A SERVICE CALL IN THE FUTURE. RECEIVED A DISCOUNT FOR BEING AN ANGIE'S LIST USER.

THERE WAS A MIX-UP ON THE SCHEDULING OF THE ESTIMATOR, SO A SECOND PERSON WAS DISPATCHED THAT SAME AFTERNOON. THIS PERSON WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TOOK TIME TO THOROUGHLY MEASURE AND PLAN OUT THE JOB, WHICH REQUIRED SOME CARPENTRY WORK. HE WAS ABLE TO CUSTOM ORDER A DOOR WHICH FIT THE OPENING, VERSUS MAKING THE OPENING FIT THE DOOR. (ONE COMPANY WANTED TO DO THE LATER.) THE DOOR FITS TIGHTLY AND LOOKS GREAT. THE INSTALLER KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING.
