Andy Mohr Ford and Lincoln is the biggest ford dealership in the state of Indiana. We have been helping people with all their vehicle needs for over 15 years.
The purchase went well, low pressure. I would say it was quick, however anytime you have to sign your name 50 times, it's hard to be quick. Our salesman, Eric bradford, was knowledgable and answered all of our questions. The car was delivered in excellent condition and they did an excellent job of orienting us to our new car.

This was a purchase of a used GMC Acadia with low miles. I opted for the extended warranty, their best available warranty, to cover any unexpected repairs. After having the vehicle less than a year the door locks were malfunctioning and after a couple service trips to find the root cause it was determined that water was getting through the windshield seal and damaging the electronics. This meant a new windshield with proper seals which you would think would be covered but was not despite repeated attempts to explain the situation with the dealer. When purchasing a vehicle for over $30k, you would think a $300 repair , regardless of the warranty 'grey area' should be covered especially when you have an extended warranty just out of courtesy and time that the initial service visits took. Andy Mohr could have righted a wrong but chose not to do so. Their lack of customer service was beyond disappointing.

Overall a good experience with the sales rep
Description of Work: Traded in a car, did an " In and Out" with a friend to buy his vehicle. Andy Mohr took care of the entire process for us. The sales rep Michelle was great. THe only reason I left a C with professionalism is because it was very typical that the "manager" always had to stay back int he office, and the sales rep never spoke to the "manager" in front of me. I also look for professional service, and for the most part other than this they were great.

Pulling into Andy Mohr we were immediately hounded by numerous sales guys. We told them we were just looking at that point. One new sales guy still continued to hound us. We told him we wanted a convertible Mustang with cloth seats. He told us they only had one Mustang on the lot (though we saw four new and three used from were we were standing.) Since he did not understand, we explained that we were not buying a car until we found the "perfect one", which none would meet if they were not convertible with cloth seats. The sales guy went to talk to his sales coach while we looked around. Finding one that was of little interest to us, we asked how much it was. His response was "I'll be right back with the key." Feeling that he was not listening to me, I stated again "We just want the price please." He said okay and walked away. He came back with the keys asking if we wanted to drive it. We asked how much it was, to which he replied "Oh, I did not ask, let me go do that". At this point my wife and I left saying that it just was not worth it. We got in our vehicle and left. Since then we found the perfect car elsewhere with a dealer that was willing to answer our questions the first time. We will not be buying a car from any Andy Mohr dealer in the future.
Description of Work: My wife and I were out looking for a Mustang Convertible, with cloth seats. Since we had already been to the North and South side of Indy checking the dealers, we thought we would check the West side.

It is the service department that makes us keep going back to them. It is usually first come first service but if we make an appointment they get us in. They have got a great waiting area with great television, coffee, kids play area and all kinds of stuff; it’s very comfortable. They come and get us personally and tell us if they have found something. They are very detailed in what they do. We love them because my husband had gone to Iraq last year and we need some work done on our car. I would take it in for a simple oil change and ask them to check it over to make sure it’s good. They would give me a good estimate and work with me to see if I was able to work with it in general. We have never had a bad repair job done by them where they have messed up. It has never happened that we asked them to do something and they haven’t. They do what they said they would do. Their prices are fair and competitive because they want to keep our business. We have been going there from the last 10 years so obviously they are fair.
Description of Work: We use Andy Mohr Ford for servicing our vehicles. We have bought most of our vehicles from them too.

We spent nothing because the repair was covered under warranty. They charged us initially, $250 with a promise that it will be reimbursed by Ford and it was, within two days. Their professionalism, their honesty, their integrity, the responsiveness and the courtesy all impressed me. They were excellent all the way. We think the problem I had is a design flaw across the board on the 2000 Ford Fusion brakes. The parts they used on the model may have had problems. Andy Mohr said that they had not seen anything like this but he was going to get in touch with the Ford representative, take pictures, and do everything that they had to do to report this to Ford that there was possibly a design flaw with this car or the parts. They didn’t try to snow us and told us that they haven’t seen anything like this before. They did searches through Ford trying to see if there was a known problem with this vehicle at that time and there was none that they were showing but they thought they thought may be some that looked like it may have been associated with it. There is an ongoing investigation. They repaired the brakes and charged us $250, which was reimbursed by Ford within two days. They did a follow up with us. They got in touch with us regarding the brakes. They talked to us about what we needed to do in the future. They won us over. They did everything they had to do in order to maintain a good customer response. They were looking at us as a potential future customer and I think that’s going to happen. The entire staff in their service department thoroughly impressed me. They went above and beyond of what was required. They provided excellent service and looked after us as a customer. I was very impressed.

I bid on a car of theirs on ebay. an HOUR later they called me. then they called again the next day. I asked them to stop calling, and to stop spamming. I tried unsubscribing. I tried threatening. Their responses were rude, uncompliant, and claimed no responsibility for the spam -- at one point I was promised that if I didn't send them messages they'd stop with the spam. But now they still email several times a day from several different accounts.

Was scheduled into Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield on same morning of my call. The service advisor, Don, immediately recognized the symptoms, and said that if reprogramming was all it needed that it would be done that day. If the transmission needed to be pulled, it could be a few days. I left the car. At 3PM, they called and said that the reprogramming was all that it needed. It has been running super since then.
Description of Work: warranty work. reprogrammed transmission. was downshifting prematurely.

I first contacted Andy Mohr through their web chat feature. Linda was very helpful and told me they had they car I was looking for on the lot, so she forwarded me to William for sales. I talked to William on the phone and after confirming that they had what I wanted I went there straight away. William was absolutely wonderful. He was very friendly and helpful. He didn't try to pressure me into spending more money than I was comfortable with and he definitely didn't pressure me into buying a car immediately. I ended up finding a car that was exactly what I wanted, in my price range, and I am extremely happy. Kudos to William and the rest of the Andy Mohr sales team for turning a first-time buyer into a definite repeat customer!

I complained directly to the dealer, and through the Better Business Bureau and Ford. Never received a response to my direct complaint. The dealership didn't respond through the BBB for over two months, by which time I had purchased a Toyota. I will avoid this dealership like the plague. I agree with another review that they are rude and stuck up. The salesman spent more time telling me how many cars he sold Saturday than trying to honor thew advertisement. We wasted over two hours plus gas to drive out there.
Description of Work: Andy Mohr was regularly in a commercial on Comcast cable TV claiming “Get a new Ford F150, or a new award winning Ford Fusion , either one only $12,900…… I have 125 Ford F150’s, 58 Ford Fusions in stock for you to choose from, either one only $12,900”. It ran at 7:17 am one particular morning on The Weather Channel. Then, less than 20 minutes later on Morning Joe on MSNBC. I called the dealership and told them I was willing to come out based on that ad. A Sales Manager encouraged me to come. When I arrived I wasted over an hour with a "salesman" who gave me little but excuses for why that price would not be honored. ( I understand about a $3000 trade in requirement, hidden in the fine print. ) He showed me a supposed dealer “invoice” price on a car of about $20,500 and said they could apply rebates, but that still didn’t come close to the advertised price. What a racket: advertise $12,900 (which is really $15,900); then set $20,500 as a starting point, not even mentioning those additional charges they're going to try to tack on.

We found a pre-owned certified Nissan 350Z that we were interested in purchasing - it had all the options that we were looking for in this vehicle, or so we thought. We arrived at the dealership and met with Dan around 9 in the morning - Dan was courteous and friendly, pulled the car around and let us check it out thoroughly. We were able to also test drive the car. Dan didn't seem to know anything about this type of car, maybe he specializes in a different make/model but I figured the sales person would know more. We were specifically interested in this car because it was advertised on their website and on the sticker on the car that it had the Enthusiast package which has cruise control, traction control and split differentials. We agreed on a price with the sales manager Todd because the tires were shot and we knew there had been paint work done to 2 panels. We then sat down to do paperwork - we went out to the car one last time to get the manual when we remembered we hadn't checked out the cruise control. We then realized that the car didn't have cruise control, which lead us to realize it didn't have the enthusiast package, which we wanted. We addressed this with the manager and sales person and were offered to take off another couple hundred dollars. This package is worth between 2-3k on a new car. We declined and said the deal was off. At this point we didn't have a ride home as we were dropped off. It costs us $50 in cab fare to get home and I expected the sales manager to have a porter take us home since their false advertising is what got and kept us there with no vehicle. The most annoying part about this is after they apologized that it was advertised incorrectly, they drove the vehicle back out to the front row display - with the same sticker on it that has false information.

I haven't had any problems there, I've been very pleased with the service. I usually just take my car in and wait, I never make an appointment. I've never waited more than 2 hours. The one time I did need to wait longer than 2 hours they had a courteousy van take me home and pick me up. They are much cheaper than the dealership I used to go to. Anything they've ever done I've never had to take it back. They are very professional.

The salesman was good, nice. After four days we both came to a price we could settle on. The upper management was rude, downright stuck up. I signed the papers right at closing; 1/2 hour after leaving my check engine light come and they were already gone. I took it in the next day and they said too bad, you should have bought the extended warranty. After fighting with them for about a week, they did fix it. I spent $24,000 on this USED truck to get that kind of service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. You are just a number to them.

Fairly responsive service, although you'd think the "Largest Ford Dealer in the State" would have some parts on hand; ever time I need something replaced it involves at least 2 trips - one to diagnose the problem and another to fix it after they order parts. We've also had a mechanic get grease all over the interior of the car one time, but they took care of that with a full detail job.
Description of Work: Andy Mohr Ford has been trying to identify and fix a transmission fluid leak on my 2007 Ford Edge for about 6 months. It has been in to the shop 5 times and had 2-3 different sets of seals replaced. They have finally decided to replace the part connected TO the seal, which I am happy with, as my warranty is about to expire. We will see how do about continuing to honor their word that this will remained covered by the dealer past the warranty since we have such a history with them.

Dan provided great advice which will save us quite a bit on our car purchase. They didn't have the vehicle we were looking for but his help was invaluable. I definitely recommend Dan Thomas when you are considering your next purchase. Especially the fact he didn't use a lot of pressure to buy something we would regret later just to make a sale. He definitely put our needs before his own. Glad I called.

They said that the replaced fuel pump would be $600. I noticed that the pump was still under warranty, but they were reluctant to do the work on the spot. They asked me to come back with less gas in the tank. When I called the company to come back in, they then told me that it was not the part under warranty that needed replaced, but instead a part that was not under warranty. They replaced the part, but I felt like they were trying to run me around until my warranty ran out in early August. They eventually changed another part, but it is still messing up. I just feel like the service has been poor and treated a little unfairly.

I bring my SUV in to be serviced here for routine maintenance. They had replaced my front brakes last year and were happy to help with the vibration issue now. They resurfaced the front rotors and the vibration was gone. It took the amount of time that they had told me it would take and cost the amount that they quoted me. They did forget to take off an amount for which I had a coupon. Since they had already "closed out" the billing for this service, they couldn't go back into the system to subtract the coupon amount. I accepted a free oil change in lieu of the coupon instead. It worked out to be about the same cost, if not better for me. Also, I had my SUV in for a routine oil change and tire rotation this past July. They noted that my rear brakes were worn down into the "warning" area. I needed to get them replaced on the spot as I was leaving town the next day. They quickly got a car for me to drive so I wouldn't have to spend the day there waiting for my SUV to be fixed.
Description of Work: The front brakes of my Expedition had been replaced last year. In August, I began noticing a vibration in the steering wheel when I applied the brakes. I brought my Expedition in to have that checked out and fixed. The Expedition was not under warranty any longer. As usual, the service men were extremely polite and professional, letting me know how long the wait would be and what the cost of the service would be. I enjoy bringing my SUV here to be serviced. I've never had to wait longer than I was originally told and the estimated cost has always pretty much been on the money.
