Great. I showed them a car I found online and they matched it for me. Had it driven to their location. Got 0% for 72 months.

If you don't get it in writing they will claim it was an As-Is deal and not covered, I didn't buy a warranty. The salesman was all in, telling us they would get a tire pressure sensor and the air conditioning fixed for us, when we were purchasing and signing finance papers. They didn't fix either and claim the vehicle was sold As-Is. Neither of these items broke after buying the vehicle. We had verbal agreements that they would fix them. Beware of what you think you are purchasing from them...

Horrible... First they said the quality of the battery was poor so they replaced, (and I paid). Beyond that they did a complete electrical analysis and found a issue with a couple of wires, (said it did fine) - so I paid and picked up. The next day - the battery was dead again. ((Ironically - when they went to get the car when I picked it up - it took a long time and they weren't that busy but I gave them the benefit of the doubt)). I took it back to them 2 more times - each time it was a different issue - supposedly completely unrelated to the first review. I repeatedly asked why this wasn't found when they did the complete electrical analysis - they made lots of excuses for that. $1600 later they said the car needed a new control panel and that would be $800. At this point - I took it to a private individual that I knew to take a look and give me another opinion. Within 45 min - he found 2 wires that were all but "fried" - replaced the wiring and there has been no issues whatsoever since. Why could a completely experienced FORD car dealership not pick up on that when doing a complete electrical analysis and having the car in their possession for over 2 weeks? Their representative in the service department was also very matter of fact - made every excuse in the world and would not call to advise even when they ran days late versus their committed repair finish date. I had to phone and chase them repeatedly. His response was he didn't have good news so he wasn't going to call unless he did - "no one wants to be called without the vehicle being finished". The service from the customer service person and the service department itself was horrible and I will not buy anything or have any service done at this dealership again. I did call the service manager by the way and go no where!
Description of Work: I took a 2000 Ford Taurus to them to service as there was a new battery on the car and it was still draining and having to be charged every day before the car would start.

We bought a '13 Fusion from them. They said it was certified used, and that's what we were looking for. Before the first payment was made the car broke down on a two hour trip north. We had to have it towed to a Ford dealer near where we broke down. I called the Andy Mohr Ford lot after we got back home and all they could say was we're sorry to hear that. It was a bad heat control valve. When it started getting hot outside we went to use the A/C and guess what it didn't work. I took it to Andy Mohr and they told me they'd have to charge me $150.00 to vacumm out the refrigerant and recharge it to check for leaks, after I told them I don't hear the compressor kicking on. They insisted they had to evacuate the system inject a dye and recharge it before doing anything else. They didn't even wanna listen to me, they just wanted to make a quick $150 cause they think everyone is car illiterate. We took it to Commuity Ford in Mooresville and told them the same thing, they checked it out and found the clutch was completely missing off the compressor and replaced the compressor under warranty. Andy Mohr just wants to waste time and make money. This car is supposed to be certified and yet in the first 6 months there have been two major issues. If they were really doing their job and actually checking these cars out before they stamp certified on them these issues would've been caught before the car was sold.
Description of Work: Certified used cars are a joke. The service department is a joke as well. They don't listen and just wanna make money.

We have always worked with them. They are straightforward and it doesn't seem like they try to get money out of us for nothing. They may be a little more expensive than privately owned companies but we know if we have a problem, they are going to find it and fix it and take care of it. We have always gone there.

Bought a 2013 Ford Focus ST. Check engine light came on. Took it in to get it fixed under the warranty. The code that popped up for the check engine light read as " faulty turbo / Under boost turbo " Probably means something is wrong with the turbo. They proceed to tell me it is due to my aftermarket intake ( which doesn't void the standard warranty. ) I leave without the problem being fixed but them telling me it costs $800 for a new stock intake. I get home later that night and pop the hood myself. Sure enough, a hose from the turbo is off, so the turbo is seeing " boost leakage " Obviously goes to show the service department didn't even look at the problem and tried to blame everything else besides actually doing their job. I swear on everything, that Andy Mohr is by far the WORST. I hate going to every single Andy Mohr dealership. I wrote a bad review also on the Toyota Avon location. This place is an absolute joke. Not only to buy vehicles but their service departments are the worst as well. I will be taking my business to Ray Skillman from here on out.

She left it there and they said they would have it down by the end for the day. They then said that they couldn't because they didn't have the parts in but that they would have it done the next day. The next day they cot the parts in around 2 o'clock but said that they still wouldn't be able to get it done. It is now the 3rd day and it still isn't finished.

Found a great price for a car listed on Cars.com. Talked on the phone and texted with both Kim and Donna. They helped clarify a few things for me. They told me I better hurry in, because a deal like this one wasn't going to last long - and in fact, someone was test-driving the car as we spoke (now I know this is a common car dealership lie). My wife and I canceled our Saturday plans, loaded our two small children into the car, and made the 50 minute trek to the dealership. Upon arrival, they showed me the car we had been communicating about. We talked about some of the features, and then started talking about price. That's when it became apparent that the $26,000 price listed online was not a sale price, but a price to lease the car. When I questioned why NO PLACE in the description on Cars.com was the simple 5-letter word "LEASE" mentioned, the salesman froze up and called in for help. What frustrates me even more is that when I first spoke with Donna and Kim, it should have been apparent from our conversations that I was interested in purchasing the car (aren't all cars listed on cars.com actually supposed to be for sale anyway?) In fact, when I asked if this car qualified for an energy efficient tax credit, I was told that it did. Shouldn't someone have clued me in to the fact that the price listed on the internet was not the price to purchase the car and saved me the headache and hassle? I find these tactics incredibly dishonest, and borderline illegal. Thank you, Andy Mohr, for wasting my family's Saturday. I will be warning anyone to avoid your dealership at all costs, unless they want to work with a business that follows dishonest and sketchy practices.
Description of Work: Not an Honest Dealership. Found a great price for a car listed on Cars.com. Was told to hurry in as the deal wouldn't last, then learned that the price listed on cars.com was only a lease price, listed as a sum of all payments. Misleading...

I would love to tell you that we had a great experience, but that was not exactly the case. We left the vehicle with them for a week to let them perform the repairs at their leisure. The job was ready, and when the truck was picked up it was very sunny outside. They said all the repairs had been performed. However, when I got the truck back there were a couple of places that were not repaired. When I took the truck back, they said that they knew those were there, but that they couldn't be repaired. I would have liked to have known that up front. The truck is older so I just let it be. But I won't ever go back there for body repair again.

They are usually fairly quick about taking care of the car. I haven't had any door dings or problems with them while they have my vehicle in the back. The only negative I would say is that I had to request they change the air filter three years into ownership, because they had never recommended it or even suggested it was necessary. Otherwise good service at dealership prices.

At time of purchase of my used car, the front tires were warped, cigarette lighter didn't work and there was no car manual in the car. The saleman said that these would be replaced if I could come back in an hour. Upon arriving, nothing had been completed. I trusted the service department to complete these tasks at a later date. Several times I had made inquiries on the tires, but the service department said they didn't have them in stock "they would call me". Probably about 1 year later, I absolutely had to replace the front tires and Andy Mohr service department said there is no record of their promise to replace the tires. I do have a service slip that actually says on it "deleted tires" or something to that effect. So, I will never buy a car from Andy Mohr nor would I have any vehicle serviced with them. It was an expensive and disappointing lesson to learn....and I turn the channel on t.v. if one of his commercials comes on the air.

VJ was persistent and his sales tactis were typical of a 'car salesman' but he stayed professional and understood our situation for owning our vehicle and wanting to literally 'exchange keys' for a more efficient economical smaller car. We had budget of $500 to spend for fees and did not need our credit ran because we were in the middle of purchasing a home. We ended up staying w/in the price we needed to be and got the care we wanted (2013 FORD ESCAPE). Unfortunately, my car needed some maintenance and they let us borrow a vehicle for the day. overall experience was great and we will continue to purchase all our cars from Andy Mohr Ford. This is our family's 4th vehicle through this location.

We went to the dealer late that day. We were approached by a the salesman. After showing us the 5 cars they had on the lot, my wife test drove one. We told him we had to consider which type of car we wanted and we'd do some calculations on the monthly payments and weigh the options. He offered to do that for us, but repeatedly came back from the manager's office just showing us the MSRP each time, no monthly payment or actual sales cost. I grilled the salesman on the different packages and options available on the car. He did not know anything about the car. He even told me information which I know was absolutely incorrect. Frustrated, I asked him to go get a brochure and walk me through what the options are and what they can do if I don't want one of the 5 on the lot. He returned and told me they were out of brochures and then proceeded to ask me which of the 5 on the lot we wanted to buy. I can't speak for all of the sales staff, but this guy knew nothing! We went to Don Hinds the following weekened and worked with Don Hinds over the next week to get the exact car we wanted. Go to Don Hinds first!
