Description of Work: TJ responded quickly and was able to come out and fix our broken door the same day. Another provider had told us we would need to replace 2 door panels. TJ was able to replace the broken hinge and insert more screws to prevent this from happening in the future. We are very pleased we found someone who is able to troubleshoot and come up with the best solution.

Description of Work: I contacted them because the light on our garage door opener didn't work all the time. They arrived within 4 hours of my call. The technician found that there was a short in the light and couldn't fix it. Since the opener was over 10 years old, I decided to have it replaced. During the visit, the technician inspected the garage door system and found that a bearing had failed causing the door to slowly cut a bar with each opening. He replace the bearing, thus the cost. It was, of course, much more that I expected to just "fix the light", but justified.

Description of Work: Lady I spoke to on the phone was great. Got a tech out ASAP. Door was repaired and one would think it was a great visit until the tech called me pressuring me with horror stories that if I didn't do additional work that was going to cost almost as much as a new door, it was only a matter of time til the new spring would fail. I told the tech I didn't have any money for additional work as I had just had a stroke a few months earlier and only recently returned to work. He didn't give up. Plus when I got home he insisted I fill out his opinion card right there in front of him and give it to him. I've been told all of these are common tactics for Precision. So what COULD have been an "A" experience turned into a "D".

Description of Work: The garage door tracks were bent and the cable attaching it to the spring was detached. As a result, the door itself was crooked. |He came and fixed the tracks, put in a new spring, and hooked everything up, and finished in about 3 hours. The door purrs now; we are very pleased. We were afraid everything would need replacing, but the repair job is great.
