Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis

I subscribed for a $99 tune up and new rollers. I ended up with a much higher bill, partly for parts and labor, but also a service charge of $65 and a fuel charge of $15 that I knew nothing about. I also now have light coming in from the top of the door, which might mean that cold air will come in in the winter and cause problems. It is making a very bad noise when the door is opening.

Everything worked out fine. They called within 24 hours and they came out within the next couple of days. They showed up early. When he was done, he gave me some recommendations on possible future work. He was pretty informative on the future work and explained why it may need to be done. It was a good overall experience.

It was great. I used the rapid connect, which worked out well with the scheduling. He was very thorough and very pleasant to work with. The quality of the work was good as far as I can tell.

It went great. Everything turned out well with the work. Scheduling was easy. He came out a couple of days after purchasing the deal. He showed up on time and did everything covered in the deal.

The service guy, Eric, was great. He seemed very knowledgeable. I had them out to replace rollers and he found I had a broke spring. I know my door was in a dangerous state for my kids safety and I appreciate that they found that and fixed it in the same day. The door works great now and I feel it's safe for my kids now. Really my only problem is the price. $699.00 for that seems excessive. I can't say they were way high because I wasn't able to get quotes. It just seems really high to me.

It was wonderful. It was 18 year old garage door and I think I had one thing done with it in 18 years and he showed me things that needed work and I believed it. He kept saying, ‘I am not trying to cross sell you anything and you don’t have to do it but I have to show you’. He was very kind and the guy that did it said, somebody had given him a bad review and he hadn’t even worked with them and he just spoke to him. He was just devastated. He is a sweet heart and so nice. He was really good. My door is very good. I had him add the number pad on the outside. Once the false fire alarm went out and I was in the restaurant. My security system called me and I said it is not real and she said, they have to come out any way and I said the guy maybe gone and she said they have to break in and I gave the code and it ended up and worked out well and I saw the advantage of having that keypad right away.

Service man arrived on time and dis an excellent job of servicing the garage door. He was friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

As Eric began to remove the opener, he discovered that there was a severely undersize spring which had caused premature wear on all of the moving parts that were a little over a year old because the door was badly out of balance. When he checked the door on the 1-car side of the garage, he found the same problem. He then took the time to explain my options of rebuild or ignore the problem. While this increased what I had estimated the cost to be, I decided to replace the worn parts and springs in order to have garage doors that were balanced and problem free into the foreseeable future and would reduce the risk of additional repair costs. I am extremely please with the quality of work done as well as the quality and functionality of the two LiftMaster openers. Kudos for a job well done by Eric and Precision Garage Door Service.

Cory was just great. He was on time very courteous. I had more work than I thought and he made it easy to deal with he was so calm and just made it a pleasure to work with him.

He also reprogrammed all vehicles to the door plus helped with directions to program remotes to our vacation Home. He was very nice quick and professional. Top service, experienced, honest and reasonable. Excellent Work !!! Excellent Company.

Eric came out as I had purchased an Angie's List coupon for maintenance and keypad entry. He was professional in explaining how the garage worked and what may need replacement in the future. Things I did not know. He used language I could understand, and did not pressure me to make any repairs at all. I did have the rollers replaced and I can tell you it made a big difference in how the dooor is working now. They entry keypad went in like a charm and works well and he left the instructions with me. All in all a very good experience and I would ask for him again.

He was very professional and knowledgeable of this type of work. He was also extremely efficient and I would highly recommend him.

I learned a lot about how garage doors work! including that my springs are about shot and need to be replaced. (The other door was OK, so I did have something to compare it to.) I'll need to schedule that repair in the next few days - waiting for another pay period....

It went very well. I had purchased a $99 tune-up package from Angie's List. When the service person examined it, the garage door opener was very old and had no safety mechanism. I made a decision to upgrade to a new unit and the service person was able to adjust the price so my $99 was not wasted. The service provider was very helpful.

Jeff was awesome!! He called when he was on his way and was punctual. He explained in detail the working of my garage door and the importance of the necessary parts. He did suggest a couple options and DID NOT hard sell me. Jeff really worked to fix what was wrong, work to protect my door investment for future wear and tear. Precision and Jeff know exactly what AWESOME service looks like. Will definetly call in the future and recommend to family and friends.

Everything went great and the job was done quick. They were very prompt and the technician was thorough and knowledgeable.

They did a great job. He was a very pleasant and nice guy and also very helpful.

It went great, so far. Josh fixed my immediate concern, getting my door to work with a remote. I was considering new doors, so I asked for some advise and suggestions as to what would work for me in my neighborhood. He made suggestions and helped me decide on what would make me happy. He was not pushy, which was very important to me. Due to Angie's list there was an additional savings on new doors. Josh ordered my doors and set up for installation. Once the doors are installed, I will add more to this review. Just wanted to make sure that you know that my immediate concern was solved, quickly without any issues.

Initially, they were going to charge me for the estimate even though the publication showed that it was a free estimate. They did finally honor the free estimate for me. We had to reschedule twice. They finally came out Friday, July 26, 2013 to complete the service. The installers were not the same people as those who came out to do the estimate. They were two young men and did an okay job. I had to leave but my son was still here. They said it wasn't a problem. My son called me when they finished the job. They wanted paid and were upset with the fact that they had to wait. I was already on my way home. If they didn't have to reschedule from the last visit they wouldn't have had to wait to be paid. They had a bit of an attitude about it.

It went very smoothly. The only thing the technician recommended was that we get new rollers. Interestingly, we just had brand new state of the art rollers installed last summer...

It was great! i bought a big deal and they quickly responded to me via message center to schedule the service. They showed up on time and gave us an estimate of what the additional work would cost. Also, they told me the doors were dangerous they wer in such bad shape. I told them yes and they went right to work. Now my garage doors are quiet and safe! THey were polite, knowledgable and friendly. I'll be using them in the future for any garage door issues.

The technicial was very knowledgable, efficient and friendly. I did not feel like he tried to pressure me into anything, but I do beleive that the service was costiler than other competitors. The door is working VERY well now, and I was satisfied with the service, just not satisfied with the price.

I purchased a Big Deal for a garage door tune-up and roller replacement or entry pad for $99. The contractor arrived within the scheduled time frame and called 15 minutes before arriving. The technician, Mike, selected to replace the rollers as well as the tune-up as part of the Big Deal and the remote entry pad for an additional $74.00 plus tax. The roller replacement would have cost an additional $106.00 plus tax. A less honest contractor would have hit me with the $106 bill. I appreciate his honesty. Mike definitely knows garage doors and is extremely efficient. He pointed out a future problem in which the builder did a crappy job installing the door when our house was built. I recommend this contractor to Angie's List users. Oh, yes, be sure to ask for Mike to do your work.
