Plumbing Heating Paramedics

Description of Work: I purchased this deal but quite frankly I thought it was overpriced in the end. I recommend caution on these "Angie's List" deals...make sure you research and call around before buying. I've found that quotes from other Angie's providers are typically same or lower than the "deal". I'm guessing the provider pumps up the "cost" and then offers you a "deal", so buyer beware. Angie's List is awesome reference for good providers and reviews...just don't "bite" on a deal before doing some homework ;)

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for an air-conditioning tune-up. Kyle & Willie called prior to arrival saying that they could show up early if that was ok with me. I appreciated the advance call and certainly appreciated the earlier arrival time as well. Both Kyle & Willie were professional and prompt and willing to answer any questions that I had. I certainly would use Plumbing Heating Paramedics again for my HVAC needs.

Description of Work: Just checked through the softener and assessed the softness of the water it was producing. However, they were unable to correct the meter readings.

Description of Work: We scheduled an appointment in advance, and changed our schedules around to accommodate the appointment. However, 15 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival, someone called from the company and said they had to cancel the appointment and was not nice about it at all. They told us someones water heater went bad over the long holiday weekend and they needed to go out and fix it. When we explained that we had made special arrangements in our schedules to accommodate the appointment (we had made well in advance), we were treated very rudely, and told we would not be rescheduled the same day. | |I get the feeling that these Angie's list specials that you pay in advance for at a reduced rate are low on the service providers priority list to complete. In this case, the special was a hose nozzle replacement which I do not have the expertise to complete. I thought the $149 upfront charge was very reasonable. At this point though, I am not sure I would reschedule with these folks and hope that I can get my money back.
