Description of Work: We use this company for our heating and air conditioning and have been very pleased with them, so I thought I would give them a try for a recurrent leak we have had. We aren't sure where the leak is coming from, and thought it was from our shower. My husband has tried every kind of caulk and sealant in the drain, and the leak will stop for a couple of years, then restart. We have had other companies out to look at it, been charged a lot more, and were told they would have to take apart the ceiling, walls, etc., and it would be a huge expensive mess and that they didn't really want to do it. Heating and Plumbing Paramedics checked thoroughly the shower and tub area, and then took a very tiny piece of wall out from our closet (behind the shower) in an area no one would ever see (it actually gives us a nice access panel if we were to have any further problems) to determine there was no leak in the shower area. The gentleman who came out took a great deal of time to make sure he wasn't missing anything, and even went outside and looked around our house and found an area outside that we had had worked on right before the leak started, where the water might be coming in under the flashing if the wind was blowing the rain particularly hard. He was so helpful, I would absolutely recommend them to everyone!

Description of Work: I purchased a Air Conditioning tune up through Angies List Big Deal. They notified me via e-mail that someone would be contacting me to set up a appointment. It took over a week before an appointment could be made as their appointment set-up procedures are poor at best. Due to being unresponsive to the Angies List Big Deal Program. I made a appointment and it they were booking for a week in the future. The service call was made and approximately half-way during the tune-up, I was advised that that there was a issue with my compressor. They did not give me pricing on replacing the compressor. However, they did give me pricing on a new air conditioning system. I told the technician that I may be interested in replacing the entire unit as the furnace was 20 years old. I was advised that they would have the owner call me to quote replacing the entire system. They did not finish any of the tune up to see if they could get it working better. Just put cover on and left. I am still waiting for that quote phone call. Luckily for me, I was able to have Extreme Heating and Cooling II look at my problem and give me a quote for the entire system which they installed with good communication and professionalism.
