Description of Work: This company was contracted to check our water softener through an Angie's List Big Deal. A bag of salt was to be included in the "deal." After a only few minutes of his time, the serviceman told us we would, undoubtably, need a new unit and spent most of the house call in his van writing up an estimate for a new softener. Upon his return, the bad news was delivered quiet abruptly and unsympathetically. We were left with the impression that he was only interested in selling us a rather expensive replacement unit from his company. No alternatives were suggested. Nonetheless, he had no problem taking our $65.00 that was originally intended for a maintenance check. The promised bag of salt never appeared.

Description of Work: Checkup on 2 heat pump/furnace systems in our home. Everything went fine and would recommend to others.

Description of Work: Brett cleaned out the drain for the kitchen sink both in the kitchen and then the basement to make sure it was all clear. Very polite, kind, professional and cleaned up any mess he may have made. |We had a second call a few days later for a water pressure issue in the kitchen. Brett came out again and found a screw in our cold water line to the kitchen faucet. This appointment was an Angie's List deal that saved me a lot of money. I am happy with Plumbing Heating Paramedics and Brett. I will use them in the future for my plumbing needs. Very satisfied with them!

Description of Work: PHP came out to check on a leak detected by my water company. At first, they did not find the issue and recommended a leak detection company to come out to investigate further. That company found that there was just an issue with one of the toilets in my home. I had PHP back out to fix it because I bought a deal from them in which I received $100 credit after my initial appointment. The second visit was quick and professional. No further problems have developed.

Description of Work: Brian was very through. Unfortunately, no fault to him, but was not able to install a filter due to the type of furnace. He explained everything that I needed to know why the problems existed with the heat. He was suppose to send me a detailed report so that I can present it to my landlord. I share the blame on that. When services were preformed, It was very busy. He did ask for time to prepare. I also need to call and remind him. Yesterday, 1/22/2015, I receive a coupon of $25 towards services. So actually, I only paid $14 dollars for the service. Once again, the consultation was worth it's price in gold and Brain was excellent.

Description of Work: We have used Plumbing Heating Paramedics on a few occasions now and have been very pleased. They were able to squeeze us in with a last minute appointment and have been very helpful and courteous. We will continue to use their services for future needs.

Description of Work: Our sump pump service was exactly as advertised. The technician was polite, informative and did an excellent job of replacing our check valve.

Description of Work: Fine. Company could not perform service from coupon. It was going to cost additional costs so I decided not to have anything done.
