Plumbing Heating Paramedics

Angie's List sent me a special from Paramedics Plumbing and Heating to get my furnace cleaned and serviced for a discounted amount and I purchased it thru Angie's List. They called and made an appointment. Mr. Ron came, father of owner, and he was so great!! We loved his service and his knowledge about the funace. We had the furnace installed thru a dealer and they did not hook it up correctly with a filter inside the furnace. So Mr. Ron helped us in what to do so our furnace would run and last for a long time. What a great service he did!! Also, they have a yearly inspection that he signed us up for and also a plumbing inspection. I would recommend this company to anyone. What a great service and professional company!!

They not only did their work but I had a question about water pressure after they left and the owner ( Ryan ) came out himself and check things over for us. He was so helpful and took lots of time to make sure we were satisfied . How great is that. We will use them again.

I purchased plumbing service through Angie's List "Big Deal"; I had some non-emergency plumbing needs and primarily just needed to find a good plumber for future work. After reading reviews on Angie's List of Plumbing and Heating Paramedics and seeing their high ratings, I thought I would give them a try. We were able to settle on a mutually agreeable time for an appointment a couple of weeks from the day that I called. I wanted a first in the morning appointment, and was able to book that. Several days later, I received a call saying that that appointment time was not going to work. I could either reschedule it for later in the day, or reschedule for a different day. After considering my options, while less convenient, I took the later appointment that day. Not that big of a deal, since their office was extremely professional, apologetic and willing to try to meet my needs. I was hesitant to book something other than first appointment because of my experience with other service providers and my need to leave the house and get on with the day -- tough to take up a whole work day or the middle of a work day for service. The office assured me that the plumber would call ahead to let me know of his arrival time and if he was on schedule. The day before the appointment the office called to confirm and also reiterated that they and the plumber knew that I had to leave home by a certain time and would make it happen. Like clockwork, the plumber (Mike) called to say that he was on his way. He was prompt, used booties in the house (it was a rainy day) and had me show him the items that I needed done. Mike accomplished all of my tasks and was professional throughout. With each item on the list, he would assess the situation, come to me with his recommendation and tell me the cost of any parts that he would have to use. He got right to work, did a great job and cleaned up every area-- even taking away the packaging from the new faucet sets. At the outset, when I told Mike that I had purchased the two hour labor deal, he said that he would try to get it all done within that timeframe. I told him right upfront not to worry about that; I knew the faucets might be a challenge given that the old ones were in bad shape and would be tough to remove. Mike gave it a great effort and only went a half hour over (I thought that it would take more time...a half hour was not much at all!). I consider myself to be a fair person and I will gladly pay for good professional service. My biggest challenge is finding that type of service provider. If I have any hesitancy at all regarding future work, I would first ask Plumbing and Heating Paramedics how much they normally charge for labor (when not using Angie's List Big Deal). The extra half hour cost $65 -- so that leads to the question is their regular charge for labor $130 per hour. I may be out of touch, but that seems like a lot. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the work that Mike did and I felt confident that he knew what he was doing. The best part about this experience for me was the communication and reliability of this provider -- both the office and the professional who came to my home. From start to finish, they communicated with me and let me know what to expect. I have no problem at all with a change in schedule as they called in advance and let me know. I have had far too many no shows or changes at the last minute. I definitely recommend Plumbing and Heating Paramedics on that basis alone!

Everything was done perfectly! They were very nice and very clean!

We got a big deal through Angie's list for two hours of plumbing services for $99. We had him replace a kitchen faucet and a garbage disposal, and he had them both done inside of two hours, even though our old faucet was very hard to remove. Setting up the appointment was a breeze, and the plumber who came out was very pleasant and professional.

They were real informative about things, especially on how to save on heating bills. They were very nice and seemed to be really honest. I used the Angie’s List Big Deal offer for the work. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I spent about $750 for general cleaning, repairs and extra maintenance which became an issue as the previous guy didn’t work on it when he tried to do the cleaning. There was a bad part with the furnace. It was for routine maintenance and extra repairs that they had to add on. Overall, their service was very good. The repair guy was late the first time. He was about 25 minutes late and tried to make up when I gave him a break. He was courteous and professional. I thought that he did a good job. I hope not to use them again in the future, but I would if I have to.

My bath was leaking and I purchased the special at $99.00 dollars for two hours of plumbing. Brandon came to my home and took the hardward apart for the faucet and told me I did not need the new shower parts I had purchased from a home repair company. He had the part for inside the tub faucet and replaced it. I still had an hour left with the coupon and the valve to turn my water off inside the house had broken so he replaced the valve within the time limit. The cost of the parts I needed for the bath faucet and valve replacement came to $42.00 dollars. I took the parts back that I had purchased from the home repair company that I did not need, so I saved $52.00 dollars.

They did quite a bit of work for me. The cooling piece of their business checks our furnace and so, they ended up replacing the flame sensor in my furnace. I thought that their price was very fair. The staff was excellent in terms of their friendliness and professionalism. I called them unexpectedly because I had a plumber that I called and he never showed up. They came out on the same day that I called them to look at the job. They were actually here within forty five minutes and so, they were right on it. They were excellent.

They did a great job and id exactly what they said they would do. I have great air quailty and a filter which will not only keep my familys air quailty great my furnace will last many years.

This is the first time that I’ve used their services. My initial impression of this company is very high and very positive. The gentleman that came out was very professional and willing to share knowledge. He answered several questions that I had. This was just a little bit outside of work that he was doing. I will use their services again in the future.

They were very courteous. The person came and explained me everything. They came little bit before the time. I would certainly use them in the future.

This has been an incredible company to work with. If you sign up for this program, they come out 4x a year (twice for a furnace & heating/cooling inspection, the other 2x, they inspect the plumbing), and this is free. They have made some minor recommendations, but with no pressure at all. The technicians showed me areas where my water heater was rusting or bubbling up, and explained to me that this is something that is going to need to replaced at some point, but no pressure to replace it immediately. This is a company that I would highly, highly recommend.

I was told that the appointment was at 10:00 a.m. but it was a range between 10:00 and 12:00. He showed up within that time frame. They were a little lost but I was able to give them directions. He was friendly and professional. He explained different parts in the furnace and what they did. I told him that the furnace had a part replaced twice since I've lived there and he said it was normal for the amount of time that the furnace had been in the home. I told him that my house was always cold in the winter no matter what. He adjusted the amount of air that gets into the burner so I'm hoping that it will fix my problem this winter. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain each part to me. I have since used them for a plumbing inspection as well. I have issues with water pressure so they inspected my home. They weren't able to find the problem for the water pressure and are going to do research to find the problem. They did find a leak in a pipe underneath my home. They went into the crawl space and took a picture of the pipe that had the leak. They explained exactly what they would need to do and the steps to repair. They provided a quote for the work on the spot and I have already scheduled the repair.

I noticed the leak two days ago when I heard dripping in the basement. I investgated the problem and saw that there were leaks coming form both the cold water shut off valve as well as the shower tap. I also saw that the hot water shut off valve was plumbed in a way that would not allow me to turn off the hot water valve. I logged onto Angie's list to look up highly rated plumber to fix the issue. While on Angie's list, I saw Plumbing Heating Paramedics had a Big Deal Special. I saw that they were also highly rated and decided to buy the deal. I bought the deal on Tuesday evening. First thing Wednesday morning, I called the office to schedule an appointment. The scheduler listened to my problem and found me her first available appointment to fix the problem before it could cause damage. The appointment was scheduled for first thing Thursday morning. The service expert, Bryce, called thirty minutes before the start time of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time and began to assess how to fix the leaks I was experiencing. He came up with a plan and wrote up the work order. Only after the work order was written up and signed, he started the 2 hour clock(part of the Big Deal). Bryce worked efficiently, giving me important information as he went. He completed the work in less than two hours (which was within the time limit of the deal). After he finished the work, he walked me through it so I understood all that was done to fix the leaks. He also pointed out other possible issues I may want to look into in the future to avoid more leaks. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in educating me about the plumbing. I had a great experience with Plumbing Heating Paramedics and would use them again for future plumbing needs.

Their service was great! I was totally satisfied with the price, the cleanup, and the complete job. I will be using him again in future for other services. I would recommend them to anyone! I originally used them after purchasing a Big Deal.

He arrived on time, was very friendly and went about his job. He answered any questions I had. I signed an agreement with the company to come back once a year.

The plumber showed up as promised and installed the water heater as expected. Before he began I requested a quote on moving the drains for my washer and water softener. I thought the price was reasonable if not lower than I anticipated. It was a job that I had put off for several years due to the anticipated high cost. I should add that I did opt for the additional water heater warranty to extend it to ten years. We are no longer taking the occasional cold shower! Hurrah !

Mr. Carpenter was very professional and gave me a quote that was slightly lower than the other three quotes I received for the same job. My son was here for the whole time and felt that all of the installers were professional and did their job well. They also fixed some wiring and vent pipes which was over and above the job required. Mr. Carpenter is going to help me receive my rebate from the gas company and I will also get a break on my taxes for this year. I am very pleased with the way the job went and the cleanup that followed. Would very definitely recommend this company to persons looking to replace furnaces or airconditions.

Got the Angie's special coupon for whole hous plumbing inspection and scheduled them for a certain day. 2 days before that day, my water heater started leaking and called them to see if they could come that very day. They were able to find an opening anc came in a few hours (without any extra charge). The inspection revealed that heater had cracked and needed to be replaced. he also gave me an estimate for a Bryden White(?) heater, installation. The estimate was at a higher level than the estimates that I received from 2 other companies later. I chose not to go with the replacement of water heater from them, however, the whole house plumbing inspection went smoothly and did not reveal any problems. THe estimate for water heater replacement, was about $1200 (as compared to $900 from the company that I finally went with). The brand of the heater was same with both companies, but, I don't know if one was a higher model than the one I finally went with. So, to be fair, $1200 may have been appropriate if it was a better/higher model.
