Paramount Garage Doors

I took advantage of the Big Deal price when it was presented in July. I was especially pleased that the offer was good through March, 2012. I called to arrange for the work in early November. They were quite busy for that sort of routine work, and I was in no rush, so the appointment was made for November 22. Mr. Nolen called that morning to assure that everything was still in place. He was very pleasant over the phone and in person and very professional. I inquired about the cost of an insulated door. It was more than I could afford at the moment, and he did not try to push me to make the purchase. I was very pleased with the work and will use Paramount Garage Doors for any work required in the future. I especially like that they are family owned and operated.

It was a very positive experience. They called before they came, and actually wanted to come early which was nice. My husband was on a conference call at the time and they worked around his schedule so they could get the work done promptly.

Our technician actually showed up early. I explained the problems we were experiencing, and left him to do his work. Within an hour he was finished, and the garage door is operating without flaws again. He was courteous, explained some easy fixes if problems occur, and the price was great. I would definitely use Paramount Garage Doors again.

I scheduled Paramount Garage Doors to service my garage door. I scheduled the appointment, Paramount called ahead, and arrived on time. TJ was very knowledgeable and professional in performing the work. All work was performed as expected. I would definately use Paramount if needed in the future, and would recommend them to anyone needing this type work done.

TJ was prompt, gave us details about the process, and provided a quality product. His charges were very fair, based on other estimates.

TJ came out and performed a garage door tune-up and installed a wireless keypad on the outside of the garage. TJ called the night before to confirm his appointment and arrived at the next day at the scheduled time. Let's just say that he went above and beyond what I paid for and I had a phenomenal experience. I would not hire anybody else in the city of Indianapolis to work on my garage. I feel comfortable recommending him to anyone else and am comfortable saying that TJ is my garage door guy!!!!

Please see above. The company replaced the rollers, oiled them, checked all of the panel connections and replaced a panel. I was very impressed with their service, punctuality, presentation and communication. Very professional!

The technician arrived at the stated time and performed the tuneup in an exceptional manner. When he left it was like I had a new garage door. When I require a new door I will certanly call Paramount Garagew doors.

He came out today and was on time, very honest and told me exactly what was wrong with my door, and that we would be back the next morning to fix it for me.

T.J. arrived on time. He was very clean cut and professional. After asking about general concerns of our garage door, he promptly went to work, working quickly and efficiently. It took T.J. only about half an hour to recondition the garage door. He identified a problem with the springs but was not a pushy salesman. We are very happy with the results as the garage door runs quietly and smoothly. We would highly recommend this service provider. :D

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. There was a similar one last year, but we waited too long and the deal expired. Nonetheless, it went very well. An appointment was scheduled less than a week after making initial contact. Thomas is coming back again to add some structural support as a preventative measure which is a lot less expensive than replacing an entire door.

Found the Big Deal on Angie's List and I have been looking for someone to come inspect out door to make sure it was OK since we've had it for 8 years now. Called him up and he was able to schedule me right away, he was very professional and nice and didn't make me feel like an idiot (like a lot of guys do when you call them at places like that). He did the job in a timely fashion and also tightened up my Wall opener and the main unit on the ceiling was loose (a bolt come out of the ceiling) which he tightened up also, I didn't think he would bother with but he did and didn't charge anything extra. I would def recommend to others and would use him again if I need anything done with my garage door!

It went super- great guy who actually knows what he is doing and laughed at my jokes!!

Overall, the service was performed as expected. I called to schedule the appointment. The service tech arrived a few minutes later than expected; which overlapped the time I needed to run an errand. However, the service tech was able to complete the work in the garage, and closed the garage door when he left.

This was an Angie's List deal, which we purchased in July. Finally got around to calling Paramount week before last and set up the appointment. They came, did the work, and left everything clean. No attempt to sell us anything else.

The owner arrived on time with all of his tools and a ladder. He began by changing the rollers. Following this he greased the top rail and tightened each bolt. When our house was built, the garage door was incorrectedly installed so he corrected this problem. He tighted the spring on the top of the unit. All in all he spent about 1 hour and my garage is both quiet and lighter. The bonus was that he made it so that I can lift it myself. I am thrilled.

T.J. did a great job at both customer service and repairing our garage door parts. He promptly returned my call on Friday, Sept. 30 for service, came out the same day to estimate the repairs, and then offered to come the next morning (Saturday) to repair the door. He did exactly as he promised, and we now have a garage door free from squeals, squeaks, and problems. It really runs much more smoothly with the new torsion springs. Thanks to T.J. for doing such a great job, and performing such quick service!!!

Mr. Nolen called me about 5:30 P.M. on 9/29/2011 with a reminder call as our job was scheduled the next morning at 10:30 A.M. Then on 9/30/2011 at about 10 A.M. Mr. Nolen called and advised me that he was running slightly behind but expected to arrive at our house about 11 A.M. Sure enough he arrived at 11 A.M. and went right to work. Mr. Nolen is very knowledgeable and efficient at what he does. He spent just under an hour at our home doing this work. Our garage door now operates very smoothly and quietly and my wife and I are extremely pleased. This Angies List Big Deal was $99.00 well spent!

Our 16 year old garage door opener finally gave up and quit on us. TJ was very responsive when I called him and set up a visit for the next morning. He asked a couple of questions about what we were seeing and the next day, arrived on time and ready to look things over. I was most impressed that he was not quick to diagnose the problem and he took time to check the opener to see if there was anything that could be done to fix it. He determined that it was a broken circuit board and it could be replaced, but the cost would be high enough that we should consider a new opener. He went through the options with me and was very thorough in pointing out plusses and minuses to each type. I picked one that I liked and he picked it up from his distributor and returned within an hour. The replacement took only about 30 minutes (or so it seemed). Everything was cleaned up, tested, and worked well. Overall TJ was outstanding to work with - appeared and acted very professional, was trustworthy, and clearly interested in my satisfaction. For the trouble that a garage door replacement would be as a do-it-yourself project, I would GLADLY pay for this professional service any time.

This was top rated service. One of our garage doors was not working at all. TJ inspected the spring rollers, sensors, circuit board, etc but in the end could not determine exactly what was wrong. He did fix the problem - the door is working perfectly fine now. However, TJ did not charge us a penny nor did he try to upsell me on anything at all. He mentioned it could be the motor on the unit, but was not certain. He also indicated the doors are not in need of service for another year and to give him a call should the door stop working again. TJ is very professional, reliable and offered us great service!! I would most certainly use his service again.

The spring to my old door broke and I was unable to open it. When I called around for estimates, most of them were going to take several days. When I called TJ, he adjusted his schedule so he could come out that day. His estimate was very reasonable. The job took longer than anticipated. However, he stayed late to complete the job, at no additional cost, even though I told him he could come back later to finish. He also managed to get an upgraded garage door opener with keypad for the same cost of the basic opener. He cleaned up everything and hauled away the old door and opener. I recommend him to anyone needing garage door repairs or installation.

On August 8 our garage door opener stopped working. Referring to Angie's list I found Paramount Garage Doors had a coupon for $99.00 for a service which included replacing the rollers, checking the unit, adding any parts necessary and several other things. The coupon also stated that with the overwhelming success of the coupon, they might not be able to schedule service immediately. Not true. They scheduled an appointment the next day which was great.Once the owner looked at our garage door opener, he told my husband it couldn't be repaired and that we needed a new one. Not a problem except that I paid $99 for service that was never received. I appreciate the fact the old opener was crap, I don't appreciate not: 1. Getting the service my $99 dollars paid for 2. Getting the $99 refunded to me 3. Having a fail safe way to handle the $99 I paid on 8/8/11 4. Not having an Angie's representative contact me about the $99. The gentlemen who replaced the opener was very nice and professional but for $345 he could afford to be. When my husband questioned him about the $99 he said we would have to work it out with Angie's list so that is what I'm doing. My feeling is the company should have deducted the $99 from the $345. The opener ended up costing us $444. I lost my job this week so $99 is a lot to me. Please understand I am not questioning the $345 we paid for the new opener but do feel a little scammed by Angie's. The $99 was taken out of my checking account immediately. Could you put it back as quickly? We are new to Angie's and thus far you are batting 50/50 on service. I look forward to hearing from someone and/or receiving a check for $99 within the next few days. Judith R. Duncan
