A very professional company from the first call. They were able to do the work within a few days. A team of guys did the job and all did a great job. The windows have never looked better. The price seemed somewhat high, but for what they did and the way the windows look I would certainly hire them again.
Description of Work: Cleaned all windows inside and out and there are a lot! This included many skylights, some that were 3 stories high and difficult to access. Also cleaned 4 ceiling fans. All the windows and doors were treated with a special bug spray.

THEY WERE WORKING ON A JOB THAT WAS MUCH BIGGER THAN THEY THOUGHT. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME OUT AT NOON AND THEY HAD TO KEEP BACKING UP THE TIME. THEY CALLED EVERY TIME IF THERE WAS GOING TO BE A DELAY TO RESCHEDULE.

John spoke with my husband and gave us an estimate for gutter cleaning. He recommended gutter covers as well. His price was well under previous estimates we have received for covers. He was very willing to work with our schedule when it came to the complimentary window cleaning. He also did some minor repairs to the downspouts and did not charge us for them. John was wonderful to work with and we will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and installed Pemier gutter covers on all gutters. This price also included cleaning all exterior windows, which they normally charge us $175 to do.

After weeks of trying to get this job done and dealing with companies that didn't show up, couldn't/wouldn't do the job (despite being listed by Angie as a company that does gutter repair), or said they couldn't get to it for 2-3 weeks, I was ecstatic that Dixon had someone here to provide an estimate and do the work the day following my initial call. The responsiveness and quality of work were great! I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again when the need arises.
Description of Work: Reattached a gutter that had become loose on one side of the house and secured the gutters all the way around.

Two men came out to clean the windows. The day them came they were not timely, they were polite and professional acting. But in approximately one week from when they cleaned my windows, we had a winding storm come through. The storm brought blowing hail and rain, one of the inside windows blew in and there was dirty water and rain coming into my home. I got the window back in place. They hadn't locked the windows back in. I checked the other windows and found there were a couple other windows that weren't locked. I called them and they claimed the one person was new and had been let go. They came back out and offered me half off the next time I use them. I was shocked the windows were not locked back into place.
Description of Work: They cleaned all my windows inside and out, my two story home.

WE UNDERSTAND THE MEMBER'S COMPLAINT AND SIDE WITH HER. WE FEEL TERRIBLE THAT THIS UNFORTUNATE SITUATION OCCURRED AND REASSURED HER THAT WE WOULD NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE. WE WILL NO LONGER TAKE FOR GRANTED THAT WORKERS WILL PERFORM THE TASKS THEY ARE GIVEN AND ENSURE THEY DO EVEN THE MOST MENIAL TASKS PROPERLY. AS THE MEMBER NOTED WE HAD LET THE WORKER GO BECAUSE HE WAS CAUGHT BY THE OWNER, ON ANOTHER JOB THE NEXT DAY, NOT PERFORMING A JOB HE WAS TOLD TO DO WHILE ACTING AS THOUGH HE HAD DONE IT. WHEN THE MEMBER CALLED THE OFFICE I CALLED THE CREW LEADER IN CHARGE OF HER JOB, (ONE OF THE OWNERS); HE SAID HE HAD NOTICED THE WORKER DIDN'T CLIP THE WINDOWS SO THE OWNER INSTRUCTED THE WORKER TO GO CLIP ALL THE WINDOWS. THE OWNER FAILED TO DOUBLE CHECK THAT HE DID THIS WORK PERSONALLY. I WAS ABLE TO TELL THE MEMBER THAT WE LET THAT WORKER GO. BECAUSE OUR COMPANY IS CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED, ONE OF OUR OWNERS RUSHED OUT TO HER HOUSE TO FIND THERE WAS NO DAMAGE OR WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE REDONE. SO TO LET HER KNOW WE WERE SORRY AND OFFER SOME REMEDY FOR THE SITUATION, WE ATTACHED 50% OFF ANY WINDOW CLEANING SERVICE FOR THE NEXT TIME SHE CALLED TO BOOK AT ANY HOUSE (SINCE SHE WAS MOVING) ALONG WITH A HEARTFELT APOLOGY. ALTHOUGH WE DO NOT LIKE TO MAKE MISTAKES, WE BELIEVE THAT WHAT MAKES AN A+ COMPANY IS ONE WHO HANDLES AND FIXES THE MISTAKES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The company did a great job. The windows were so clean. He also removed a wasp nest and weed from my gutter while he was on the ladder. They were prompt, clean, and did an excellent job. We will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Cleaned all windows in the house both inside and out and all screens. He also cleaned a chandelier. Our great room is three stories on the outside and he cleaned it with no problems.

Job 1: No comments. Job 2: I was very pleased with the work performed by Dixon's representative. The repairman spent about 1 hour performing the work, but did not charge for his services.
Description of Work: Job 1: JDIXON'S INSTALLED GUTTER COVERS ON THE REAR GUTTERS OF MY HOME (THERE ARE NO TREES IN MY FRONT OR SIDE YARDS). THE INSTALLER ARRIVED ON TIME AND COMPLETED THE JOB WITHIN THE TIME ALLOTTED. HE ALSO PERFORMED A MINOR REPAIR TO ONE SECTION OF GUTTER AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO ME($500). Job 2: Dixon's installed gutter guards on my home last summer (2005). I asked them to check the guards (July 2006) because I thought I heard birds in the gutters. They determined that birds had pried up the edges of two shingles and one gutter guard and built a nest under the gutter guard. They cleaned the area and replaced a shingle and set a wire barrier to prevent additional problems. I thought I should have been charged a fee for their services. They said that this was covered under their 1-year warranty even though it was not associated with their work. They refused to bill me.

They really worked to accommodate my schedule and to get my work done for me as soon as was possible.
Description of Work: This was a construction clean of a new home with huge picture windows in a two story house. Joe and his assistant were very conscientious and careful of the windows. They also sprayed insecticide around the perimeters of the windows to discourage the spiders from building their webs. This has helped tremendously. They checked all 37 windows and the skylight when they had finished for any needed touchup. They put my window decals on for me to help stop the birds from hitting the windows, too.

These people were great! They came when expected, worked very efficiently, and finished all the interior spaces first so that we did not have to be home when they did the outside. The work was perfect! We have a large house with many windows which had not been cleaned for 3 years due to dirt being thrown out continuously by the construction next door. What a pleasure to see streak-free, spotless windows!

I am a happy repeat customer, having them come out to do this same service every spring. They even call me to remind me that it is time for them to come out. They call after the service to make sure everything is satisfactory and should there be any touchups needed, they respond promptly and without any hassle. They have performed this service for me for 4 years. Great Job (as usual)!!!!!

They clean the windows inside and out. Highly recommended! They are very trustworthy -- if I wasn't here I wouldn't worry about having them in the house.
