We had leaves in the gutter on the second story of our house and I was not comfortable doing it myself. We had contacted several companies and Dixon was one who had reasonable pricing. They showed up on time and did a good job getting all the leaves out of the gutter.

We hasd an estimate done and after discussing with my wife, we decided we would contract Dixon to clean our windows. The man who gave the estimate ( Jonathan) was very professional and after going around the house, he gave me an estimate we felt was very fair. I called the offrice and we set up a date for service and we established a one hour time frame for arrival. On the date of service, I got a call during the pre arranged time frame to give me a more specific time the technician would arrive. He introduced himself and was very friendly. We walked around the house and I showed him where I had the screens and he pointed out that I had not removed the three egress window screens to the basement windows. He had to then climb down into the egress well and wash the windows and screens. Throughout he was very friendly and asked if there was any thing else I would like him to do whilel he was here. When he was finished, he advised me that he had stacked the screens in the order of the windows so I could more easily identify which screen went to which window. I asked him if he would help me to take the screens into the garage so they would not blow around and they would be in the house as I need to put them back into the windows from the inside. He said he would gather them all up and he proceeded to do just that and put them in my garage in same order they came off the windows just as he said he would. I asked him if he wanted me to pay him then and he said he would be glad to accept a check and would go to his truck and write up an invoice. The price on the invoice was exactly as quoted. I gave him a check on the spot. ASIDE NOTE: He even took some extra time to make up to my two little dogs (one of which usually does not cotton to strangers) and played with them for a few minutes. In the past, my wife and I had always washed the windows ourselves and after Dixon was done we both made the comment that it was so nice to look through our windows and see the outside without the inevitable streaks and blur we usually had when we did the work ourselves!!! Two days later, I received a call from them to make sure I was happy with the work. She advised me of the other services including gutter and downspout cleanout. I told her my subdivision was only 5 years old and there are not mature trees as yet that pose a leaf problem but in a few years, I would anticipate we would need this service as well and I would most certainly call upon them. We are very satisfied and will most definately utilize their service in the future. BY THE BY: When I made the appointment, I told her we were members of Angies List and also seniors and I would like whichever discount that would be the greater. She laughed and said she would give me BOTH and true to her word, she DID!

Just a great experience. They were very neat, organized, extremely thorough. They arrived late afternoon but did not rush through just to complete the job. Price was very reasonable considering the scope of the work - 79 windows in total. We will definitely use Dixon's again!

Everything was completed on time and in a professional manner. The job looks great. Our house looks new from the outside.

Things went very well. I haven't had anything clog up. They added screws to securely attach the screens. They were responsive, timely, gave a detailed estimate in advance, and did a neat job.

They sent two men and they cleaned the windows perfectly, as they had in the past, with the exception of last year. They said they had hired some new personnel last year who had not performed up to their standards. They waived the $140.00 charge.

They were very professional when they came to give me the estimate. Provided 3 different estimates for each job that needed to be completed. Did not end up hiring them to do the job because I was able to get a lower price from a different company for gutter cleaning. Would definitely use this company in the future if we decide to add gutter covers.

The porch has a sunroom and has windows on all three sides. They took the whole thing apart and put it together again. They are pretty good and are a jack of all trades. They came with a van and a set of ladders. There are usually three or four, and they were through in two hours. They used the ladders to do the high windows. I had ice in my gutters and he told me that water and ice were trying to get in behind the gutters. They put in a heater wire and kept the ice melted inside the gutter. They are very fastidious.

It went well. They were nice, punctual, and professional. They were a little on the high side.

I've been using them for three or four years. They are very thorough and flexible on their scheduling. They do a really good job. The price is well worth it because I don't have to climb the ladder.

He arrived at the scheduled time, did all my outside windows then came inside to finish. He was here for 3 1/2 hours, working the entire time! He did a great job!

Dixons had previously cleaned my windows so I asked Angie's to check them out; after calling to get an estimate on gutter cleaning they 'bugged' me until I made a commitment. The job was well done but I had another estimate from another similarly rated Angie's List provider which was less than half of what I paid and if I had had a little bit of time I would not have gone with Dixons.. Dixons indicated that they had reduced the cost and discounted the price but if the other service provider was similarly rated I really feel I was over charged. Now they are calling again to see if I will have them clean the windows.

Dixon's was a second bidder to clean our windows last year, we selected the other service, which was excellent. This year, we requested Dixon's for the job. They were very responsive to our call, not so much to our e-mail. They worked with us when we had to reschedule due to other work at the house and we really appreciated that because we were facing an event and a tight deadline. The only drawback was that the workman was late for the job by an hour and had underestimated the amount of time it would take. This created some difficulty because of our schedules. It did work out however, and they did a very good job.

A new trainee was on the job and even though carefully supervised he bent 3 of our window screens when removing them. When he put them back in after cleaning I pointed this out. The team leader handled the complaint very well - He immediately called the owner of the company who came out before they were even finished. The owner asked if they could take the screens back to his shop to try to straighten them out, so I let them. They called later and said they could not be straightened to their satisfaction, so they were going to order new ones for me. They followed up and kept me aprised of the situation all along, never forgetting about me. It took quite some time to get them, but they did. They did not ask for payment upon completion in the fall, but I went ahead and paid based on their great Angie's List rating - I felt I could trust them, and it turns out I could=)

They are very professional. They are very nice people. They did it with the time frame they set out. I was tickled with them. I have never used a window cleaning service, but was very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend them.

We have a large Colonial home with a ton of windows (double-hung windows and some casement windows -- all with tons of small window panes). We also had some aluminum storms and some wood storms. When we called for an estimate, they were very polite, and actually recognized our last name. (As it turns out, they had worked on some of our relatives' homes too.) Someone was out within a day or two to provide the estimate. The price seemed reasonable for all the work that needed to be done, which included washing all the windows inside and out and washing the storm windows inside and out. They scheduled us for a Friday, but one of their workers was sick. They communicated with us very well, and rescheduled for the next week. They came one day to do the inside and the next day to do the outside. They were so nice and accommodating. We have two small children, and they worked with their nap schedules and worked quietly so not to wake them. (I almost forgot they were here.) They even cleaned our basement windows, dormer windows, the screen door (with glass on the bottom), and French doors. The windows were so clean that someone (unprompted) said, "your windows are absolutely sparkling!" I would definitely recommend them.

Our experience was excellent. I first called over a weekend to get some details and figure out our options, indicated it was ok to stop by for their FREE estimate (and folks you don't need to be home for this) I happened to be home when he stopped by on Monday. He did his thing and gave me the estimate. My husband and I agreed on the price and I called to set up the cleaning for Wed, which was more convenient for me. They were willing to have come the following day. I was given a 10a-12n arrival time frame. Which is great because it was only two hours, normally companies give a four hour window. He arrived just after 11am. And was extremely polite, even took his shoes off in our home. Which was not a request from me. The work was precise and thought it would have been a little messy but not a drop on anything near the windows. For one person to accomplish what he did in about 2 hrs was amazing. We have a lot of windows! My husband was so impressed when he came home. Truly satisfied w/this company and the employees.

Excellent - they arrived on time, as scheduled, completed the work quickly and efficiently while I was at home - left the windows and window sills (especially on the inside of the house) sparkling clean!
