Called for an estimate. Mr. Strayer thoroughly viewed the exterior to be painted. Everything from power washing the exterior wood to scraping, priming and painting was done with great care and concern. They were very friendly and informative with suggestions. They were always punctual each day. The job was completed in two work days. He also trimmed some trees touching the wood to be painted. Would definitely use his services again.

They did an excellent job! The owner came out to inspect and the painters came out this morning for a final inspection. They come on the dot, are clean cut, and nice fellows. They cleaned up after the job as well. It's such a relief anymore not to have a problem after people leave.

Steve's work is excellent! The best part is working with him. He is fair and will do the best he can for you. He works so hard and manages bumps in the road. He did the main job a year ago and recently, I noticed a piece of siding pulling loose. I called to ask him to come take a look at it. Within 2 days he was at the house. He evaluated the problem and fixed it for us. He also checked the house and touched up some places that needed it. He brought over the extra touch up paint. A great guy and a great company.

He finished the job on a tight schedule before my family arrived. He had a great personality. If he said he would arrive at a certain time he was actually at work by that time. He did a wonderful job.

Again, another outstanding job by Steve Strayer of Fine Line Painting! Steve painted the inside of our house early this year, and we knew as soon as we saw the end result, we would be calling him for exterior painting, as well! Steve and his assistant, Rob, are the best around! Steve, as usual, "Went the extra mile", to make sure we were satisfied. He is clean, neat and honest, and does the most professional work we have ever seen. Steve completed the job in a little over one day, and left everything as he had found it; patio furniture and decorations were put back in place and paint free! The house looks bright and clean, and we are very happy and satisfied. Thanks, Steve!!

He came out to do some touch ups for me right away when I was going to sell my home.

They were very conscientious and worked with our schedule. They were neat and tidy and I felt like whenever I asked him a question he was giving me a straight answer. He was very detailed in the proposal he gave me.

I can't say enough good things about Steve Strayer of Fine Line Painting. The total experience has been the very best that we have ever had with a contractor. Steve arrived on time, was clean, professional, polite, courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure the work was perfect. The estimates that we received from Steve were higher than other companies, but he was WELL worth the price. From the first meeting we were impressed with him and his very detailed and complete proposal. As a person, he is the type you would trust in your home and around your belongings. We never felt anxious about going to work and leaving Steve in the house painting. His assistant, Rob, was awesome as well, and it was a pleasure to see how well they worked together to get the job done! I would highly recommend this company! Our only complaint was the fact that Steve only does painting! We would hire him for anything!

Stephen was great to work with. Always polite and cheerful, a pleasure to have in my home. He was fastidious and very careful in all he did. He made excellent suggestions for painting ceiling trays and bulkheads. He was very prompt, starting at 8:00 am and working till 4:30 everyday. He brought his own lunch and so did not leave the premises. I plan to hire him again for our exterior painting. I highly recommend Stephen!

They called back promptly and told us they were not interested. I was a little disappointed that they weren't willing to give us a quote but I appreciate them being honest and not wasting our time.

Steve provided an extremely detailed estimate of what the job would cover. He was very professional, friendly, welcomed questions and provided helpful answers. I did not use him because price was 50% higher than other bids.

It was a very good experience, I would use him again. He did everything that everyone else has mentioned. The painting was done in August.

Steve was professional and on time. His quote was by far the highest and he only paints; no minor repairs. He did recommend someone for repairs though. I am attributing the high price to him being very busy and doing quality work.

Stephen and his team were very professional and pleasant. They showed up for the project promptly at 8:30 and worked efficiently throughout the day. Drop cloths were used extensively -- so that there were no drips or splatters. Stephen warned me of the chance that the white paint might not cover fully in one coat, and that a second coat might be necessary. He even suggested that we consider a different trim color that would cover in one coat and save us money. I appreciated his concern for the expense and his strict quality standards. We will have him back for interior work in the colder months ahead.

Steve was prompt and responsive and contacted me to let me know the work could be completed earlier than expected. I appreciated that he checked back the day after painting to review the job and am very satisfied with the work that was done--very neat and exact. He was also helpful in selecting a trim color for another part of the job which I plan to do on my own.

Great experience. Showed genuine concern for our entire exterior project. Recommended good carpenter for window and wood-rot repairs that were necessary. Responded quickly to emails! Did complete job on painting. Did not cut corners, but did not try to oversell us on anything. Yeah!

We don't have enough space in this evaluation to say all the wonderful things that should be said about Mr. Strayer and our experience with Fine Line Painting. This was without a doubt the most pleasurable experience that we have had with a home improvement contractor. Steve was incredibly meticulous, provided a thorough estimate down to the last detail. He called ahead to schedule and you could set your watch by his arrival. He was respectful of our plants and pets and worked around both without any disruption. Both he and his staff are incredibly personable and left the worksite each night without any evidence that they had been there except a beautiful new paint job! Steve uses only the highest quality materials and it's evident in the work that he does and the result that you get from him. He helped us pick the perfect paint color for our barn that blended with our existing house color. He is simply the best, and we would never consider using any other painter.

Steve is professional, prompt, and concerned about producing a top notch final product.
