I called several places for new gutters on the house, including 2 of the big box stores. Willing's was so much less than the most expensive quote, and without a doubt Mickey was the friendliest person I dealt with. When I called Mickey, he was at a job site, but took a few minutes out to chat with me. He left a quote at my door and answered several phone calls and questions I had throughout the process. When it came time to awarding the business, it was a no brainer to call on Mickey. We scheduled around the weather, and he came out with one other guy to do the work. He started in the morning, and worked into the evening to make sure all was done right and before he left. He also cleaned up all the old nails and screws, and walked me through how the new gutters were so different (and better) than the old gutters. I was very pleased with the bidding process and how he was patient in providing explanations to all my questions. Because of his friendliness, knowledge and professionalism, my father also used Mickey to install gutters on his home. A great job and I will continue to refer all my friends and neighbors to him!

I was having water come into my basement from somewhere. I called about gutters and whether they thought it was the problem, no one could say for sure. Either way ,I wasn't happy with thier estiments and got even more confused. Mickey came and was very helpful and gave me a fair price for the work. They worked very fast and it looks great. I would use him again in a minute.

Mickey Willing, owner of Willing Guttering, was a very nice man. He told me he works with A-1 Roofing, also on Angie's List. He gave me a reasonable estimate for gutters and screens, and I received a brochure that included a refrigerator magnet with his company on it that states "Fully Insured and Free Estimates". He is on the BBB with an "A+" rating, but I could not find any reports submitted to the BBB. Also he had all "A's" on Angie's List and five "POH nominations". I scheduled the work, but told Mr. Willing I needed proof of insurance and workman's compensation. He told me that would be no problem. I then got a call from him saying the color (grey) that I had selected for my gutters was out at the supplier. I thought that odd. I then found out he is not licensed (he supposedly does siding and windows), not bonded, not insured, and has no workman's comp. BUYER BEWARE - if someone from this company should fall on your property, have a ladder go through a window, etc. you can end up paying for all damages and get sued! I called the county department, and verified that Mr. Willing signed a "waiver for workman's compensation" effective until 7/27/11. With all my information, I called Mr. Willing. He told me his first insurance company was bought out by another, his wife took care of the insurance part of the business, but she has Parkinson's disease, the new insurance information was mailed to him, but it's the size of a phone book, I "thought" I had workman's comp, I know if something happens I can get sued, but I have a lot of money- I own a farm, etc. I asked him why did he sign the waiver for workman's comp and was told he thought he would save a little money. He also told me no one had ever asked for proof of his insurance before. This was a very unfortunate experience and a complete waste of my time (one month) ! I never received proof of his insurance via email nor postal service. Consumer advice **** When someone comes out to give you an estimate, ask that they BRING a copy of proof of their insurance and workman's compensation WITH them.

There was no cost because he guaranteed his work. Mr. Willing and one other worker did a great job. Their estimate came in way under everybody else. The price was great. They worked very quickly. I have recommended them to other people. He is a gentleman who works out of his home, and he does a good job. I had a leak in the corner of one of my gutters, and I called him. He was very responsive to my needs. He was here when he said he would be.

Mickey was the contractor hired to repair the fascia and replace the gutter when our gutter ripped off the side of our house due to the ice this winter. Upon repairing the fascia and putting up the new gutter, he discovered a squirrel's nest in the eave up under a soffit panel. He cleared the nest out, along with the squirrel, and at this time noticed that there was some damage to the rafter tails, probably a result of the squirrel chewing the wood. He recommended having the rafters replaced at some point in time but did not pressure us to do so. My husband and I eventually decided to replace them now since we plan on being in our house for awhile. Mickey came out a day early to do the work. He explained the repair work to us and showed us some problems with our existing fascia and soffit panels; he corrected these problems as they went along with their work. He also informed us that there was more damage to the rafter tails than originally thought and validated our decision to go ahead and replace them all now rather than later. Mickey and his worker stayed until about 9pm to finish the job up, because there was rain in the forecast that evening and he wanted to get everything back up and in place before it started raining. Mickey ended up finishing the job just as the rain started.

They were prompt, good, and did extra work at no extra fee. They only charged me the minimum rate and did extra guttering at no extra price. They were very personable.

It was great working with Mickey Willing. I had to change the date of the repair a couple of times due to some other working I was having done on my home. Each time I called him he answered right away, said no problem just let him know when I was ready. When I was ready to get the work done he told me when he would be there, he and his crew were right on time. Did a great job and a complete clean up, nothing for me to do. If I have any additional gutter problems I will call him.

They ended up having to replace some wood behind the gutters that they couldn't see until they got the old gutters off. Therefore, our final cost was significantly more than the estimate. However, the bad wood would have been a problem no matter who replaced the gutters and I feel that they did a great job and worked with us on the cost. In addition, everyday there were here they cleaned up after themselves, which I appreciate.

He gave us an estimate to add gutter over a window. Returned following week to do the job. Gutter looks like it was always there. He did a wonderful job on a minor service. We plan on using this company again to replace gutters on house when it is time.

I called Willing Gutters and spoke to Mickey Willing who was at a job site. He seemed very professional and customer oriented. He came by the next day on a Saturday and left the estimate. His estimate was very competitive compared to several others I had received, and I liked his customer focus. I expected to wait a few weeks to get on his schedule at this time of year, but he came out within a few days. He and his crew were very non-invasive and easy to get along with. Even though the job ended up being much more complicated and time consuming than he originally had estimated, Mickey insisted on staying with the original estimate. I think that his integrity of sticking with the original estimate is a rarity. The gutters look and function great. Awesome job!

Smoothly. They provided me an estimate, then they came back and installed everything as agreed. His large array of colors and onsite gutter machine makes customizations a snap without hassles and without seams! The gutters seem much larger in surface area and displace more water than the home depot variety, so I know top notch gutters were installed and they should last a long time.

Mickey was very quick to call and set up a day to replace all gutters around my home. He and his crew finished the entire house in a day and the quality is supurb. Mickey was very pleasant to work with.

Called Willing Gutters in the morning asking for an estimate. They said they could stop by on the way to another job. They had black gutter straps with them and said they could fix the problems right then. With ok, they did, gutter pinier up and they wanted no pay. I insisted on giving them lunch money.

They did a great job! They were on time and started to work right away. I have recommended him to my neighbor.

They were great, showed up when they said they would. The price was right on. The work appears to be excellent.

He is very responsive. He came out a second time to fix a small leak I had with no problems. He is a very friendly person. He is not aggressive in terms of selling anything. He gave me prices of items, but never pushed to buy a specific brand or product. I still need to see how some caulking work he did holds up, but I'm very trustfull it will be fine.

Everything went great. They were here on time and they did a good job. They were done in a day.
