I did not hire them, not that they weren't capable and qualified . I received other estimates and I hired some other service provider that was a little bit closer in proximity that would make them easier to work with. However, they were very cordial and very responsive.

This was a wonderful experience. The man who came out was very honest and trustworthy, was very fair with me and followed up after the work had all been completed to make sure everything turned out exactly the way I wanted and to know how things had been going for me. He had to send out plumbers and electricians before he could do the job and the people he sent out were just as good as him. I would definitely use Vickrey again in the future.

They have done a wonderful job. The price was reasonable.

Mark Vickrey provided the quote for the project after numerous phone tags and a personal commitment he had. Once we did connect he arrived on time and was very professional in measuring out the project. The proposed layout received with the quote was not what I had expected in the washer/dryer hookup and shower area creating dead space. I spoke with Mark briefly on the quote and was advised a standard shower would be much cheaper than tile but the standard shower would have taken up more of the closet space than I wanted. Mark mentioned several times during his visit equipment used by Vickrey during demolition cutting down on dust and asbestos safety. I was unconcerned with asbestos since seventy-five percent of the project demolition was paneling. A lower quote was accepted for the project.

The estimate process was thorough, the removal process was quick and the installation process was fine. Weather played a part and caused a brief delay, but otherwise, everything went well. Vickrey is reasonable to work with and the entire team seemed professional.

We were so pleased with them. They were able to choose everything, from the paint to the counters to the cabinets, which I appreciated as a volunteer working on the project myself. They were able to match another bid, and came down in price a little. We were very happy with their work, and the quality was wonderful. They encouraged us to contact them with any problems, and they respond right away.

They are the remodeling company that we have used in the past. The person from there is good. He did the work as a favor to us, since it is not his normal business. The light that he repaired was a tiny one, which is not manufactured any more. He had to cross reference the bulb to another type and purchase the correct bulb. Normally, people replace the entire fixture, but replacing the bulb is less expensive.

Sections of siding on the house were deteriorating and gutters needed replaced. Mark was more than happy to accommodate. Weather throughout the summer was wet so the job took longer than expected. The outside of the house now looks great with new siding, new gutters and fresh coat of paint. We have several hundred sq. ft. of deck on the first and second story that was power washed and stained. All in all the projects went smoothly and everything looks great. Mark will work to solve any problems that might arise and will always try to make you happy.

The project went smoothly. The dates for renovation were set three weeks earlier and Mr. Vickrey's office called to remind us. The work was estimated to be completed over three days but was completed in two days.

As with all remodeling projects there a few unknowns. We had a few and added a couple of extras along the way. These did not affect the timeline as project finished on time. Mark Vickrey is a honest and hard working contractor. He is on the job every day. You can usually access him by his cell phone. If you have to leave a message, he will return your call. His crew is always respectful of our home and property. They cleanup every night. We have used him on many projects. He will not always be the lesser cost but knowing the job will be done right is important. Communication is excellent.

Mark, the owner, was easy to work with. He worked closely with us to design the basement we wanted at a price we could afford.

They were extremely slow to produce a kitchen design and estimate(Ugh!)and also very slow to collect final payment(Yea!). In between, they were very punctual and responsive. Mr. Vickrey said it would take 4 to 6 weeks for the cabinets to arrive; they were here in 4 weeks so work began almost before I was ready for them. Once work began, the men who did the work arrived promptly each day and finished the job within the estimated time frame. Two problems occurred during installation, both of which Vickrey fixed at no added cost to me. First, they accidentally severed an electrical wire while installing a wall cabinet. They couldn't possibly have known the wire was where they were drilling; it took an electrician they called in an entire morning to find out why we had no power to our phone and a wall outlet and then fix the problem. Second, they mis-measured the top for the counter between the stove so that the counter over-hand was only about half what it was in other places. That left a gap of approximately and a doorway 3/4 inch between the counter-top and the frame for the door leading to the dining room. After re-measuring, they replaced the countertop. Other than those two glitches, everything went smoothly. The men who actually did the work were pleasant and professional. The kitchen looks great.

This is not the first time we have used Vickrey Remodeling. Their price will be reasonable yet probably not be the cheapest but quality isn't cheap. Mark Vickrey is an experienced,honest and hard working contractor. He wants you to be happy with his work. His crew works hard and always respect our home. They clean up every day and all are very accommodating. Mark is good at suggesting ideas and changes. He will answer his phone and return calls. He is on the jobsite every day. You should be prepared for the job to take longer than estimated. He uses some subs and sometimes the job gets stalled waiting on them. If you want top quality and excellent communication, Vickrey Remodeling is the right contractor for you.

Excellent, as usual, with Mr. Vickrey. They did the job quickly and thoroughly. All of the workers were polite, friendly and professional. Each job was done to my satisfaction.

Mark and his crew are very professional and great craftsmen. They completely gutted and expanded the bathroom for our master suite, including bumping out the roof and moving a wall. With any project this size, there were a few mis-communications along the way, but Mark worked with us throughout the process to ensure we were satisfied with the final product. The renovation is a total success and we receive endless compliments on how beautifully it turned out. It is a true spa retreat.

They were very helpful and informative in their estimate. They showed up on time and were thorough. They were the highest bid of all the services providers that I had come out so we choose to go with another company.

The overall project took longer than I anticipated, but turned out OK.

They came out and quoted me a price of $2500, once agreed upon they ending up charging $4200. They said it would only take four days and it ended up taking about a month. They would argue with me on how things should be done or the work they were doing. Any objection I would have they would find an excuse or blame me. They only seemed to want to finish the job once I with held the payments and told them I would only pay them once finished. The bathroom now looks alright but it was definitely not worth the hassle. The entire experience was unsatisfactory and I would not use them again.

They were very great, and they were on time and were very respectful about being in our home, I would use them again and recommend them to others. I was very pleased.

Quality work was done all ground. Appreciated professionalism of each person, contracted for the work, especially Randy (drywall/ceiling) and female who laid tile. Project was started much later than expected. Would have appreciated more timely call backs and clear communication-conversations, sometimes confusing/not clean.

Mark, the owner is great to work with. We had some scheduling delays, but once they started the work was good.
