The visit & transaction was very pleasant & productive!!
Description of Work: Asked him to try & sell us a canister vacuum cleaner. We had visited several other vacuum stores but continued to remain uncertain as to whether to buy & if so what machine. We were provided all the time we needed, were not pressured and received info & demos of every conceivable variation as well as all the various components we may possible need or use. I believe Ryan's patience, knowledge of the product, and personality made the sale.

Ryan was very helpful in explaining the differences of each vacuum model and the functionality and features of the units. I spent an hour in the store and the price was as competitve as buying online except for the tax. It was worth paying the tax to have a hands on demonstration to see what I was buying plus I was supporting a local business. Ryan was very knowledgeable.

Their labor charges for this service is $30 plus parts, while other shops quoted $50 for the same services. Not only was the price lower, but he performed the work in just one day, after calling to let us know what the charges were going to be. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly person to do business with.
Description of Work: Tuned up a nine year old Oreck vacuum cleaner. He installed a new belt, bag, brush unit, and cleaned and oiled unit plus taped several places on the power cord.

Very clean vaccum, very quickly, he did try to sell me a vaccum.
Description of Work: I had spilled a whole can of stain over the vaccum, causing it to be dirty, sticky and dangerous to stain my carpet, if it was not cleaned throughly. IT was cleaned very well it worked like new

When that estimate is near or exceeds 40% of the replacement cost, we feel it is our duty to show the client a possible replacement. Now the client has all the necessary information needed to make an informed decision about how much they wish to invest in repair. Our goal is to show a client both of their options and allow them to make the best decision to accommodate their needs.

I had a vacuum hose that was leaking and brush wasn t doing what it should. Went in to see if they could repair the leaky hose, but I had to have it replaced the hose because it was an old vacuum. So I just ended up buying a new vacuum, but I was quit pleased.

Ryan England was a pleasure to work with. I overheard customers throughout my time in the store and each one was given the same personal attention that I was given whether it was for a service need or sale. I learned that Vacuums and More is a family owned and operated business that considers customer service a priority. The shop also guarantees a price match for 90 days for peace of mind. I will gladly recommend them to friends and family. Incredible experience from start to finish!
Description of Work: Being a vacuum fanatic (due to 3 big hairy dogs), I vacuum once a day and have been limping along with an overpriced, overrated Dyson vacuum cleaner. I finally had enough and through research learned that a Miele vacuum would need to be in my future. I found Vacuums and More on the web as an official Miele dealer. I was fortunate enough to meet and work with Ryan England who was as thorough a salesperson as I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The multiple models can be a bit overwhelming but Ryan established first that all the Miele canister vacuums in the category I was interested in had the exact same suction and cleaning ability - it just came down to the difference in features. Knowing that from the beginning helped greatly. I never felt pressured or hurried - and he never directed me toward a higher priced vacuum - he told me the differences, let me play with them, and then helped me keep the features separate in my mind while mulling over my decision. He actually steered me toward a less expensive model based on my initial specifications - but in the end I chose a bit more expensive one because of an auto capability (the machine senses the type of floor - hard wood, carpet, or scatter rug and adjusts suction accordingly).

I stopped by the store with my vacuum cleaner because every time I used it, it smelled like it was burning. Ryan looked it over and discovered that my roller brush had melted and wasn't functioning properly. Since my vacuum cleaner isn't one that they sale, he had to order the part for me and install it when it came in. I was only without my vacuum for a week and a half and when the vacuum was returned to me, it was in perfect operating condition.

When I took it in the man looked over the problems described & said it would need to be checked by the Avon location. I was called two days later with the description & cost. He reduced the labor charges by 50% & included the new belts for free. I picked it up the next day.

The analysis and parts replacement went very smoothly in less than 15 minutes while I waited. Ryan did not charge for his service. He tested the vacuum cleaner and then asked me to test it. It is nice to have such thorough, honest work done.

Company estimated $120 to $140. Said they did two or three a week, so I assumed competency in estimating. Charged us $170-25% more than expert estimate. Estimator was not deliverer. Deliverer kept saying "Don't shoot the messenger."

No hard sales ever. Great service. Top-quality vacuums that are made in the U.S.A. and are only slightly more than those at Costco, but are far better made and much more durable. I can't say enough good things about this location.
Description of Work: I had a belt replaced at Vacuums & More for a mere $3.00. Plus they cleaned the machine for me and provided cheerful service. I recently bought a new Riccar vacuum cleaner and they fixed the 8-year old model for free (now I can use it in the garage), added a 12-pack of expensive vacuum bags, and helped me chose the right vacuum cleaner for my needs.

REPAIR WAS DONE WELL AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED. THEY'RE OPEN ON SUNDAYS, AND THAT WAS QUITE HELPFUL. THE ONLY ISSUE WAS THAT WE WEREN'T CALLED WHEN IT WAS READY. WE ONLY FOUND OUT WHEN WE CALLED TO CHECK. THE VACUUM HAD BEEN READY FOR AT LEAST A FEW DAYS.
