They do a marvelous job. They explain everything and take the time to answer all my questions. They are very polite when they are around. I think they are great and would recommend them to anyone.

The man that came was here on time. What we needed was the knob on the washer. He happened to have one and he fixed it.

They did everything right. They were on time and made a great follow up call. I would absolutely use them again for future service.

They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They were very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the job for me.

He arrived the next day with the part, and he wasn't here very long. He did clean up after himself, and was polite. When I called to set up the appointment they said that that he would be here between 8-9 am, but the office changed the time to 8:30-10:30a, but failed to let me know. The office did call him after I called to ask where he was at. He called me to let me know when he would be there. I am not holding him accountable.

They came out and told us that it needed a new part and offered to take care of it for us. He made a temporary fix for us until we could have someone else fix it for us.

They were very friendly when they were there working. They showed up on time to do the work for me. They did a good job at cleaning up when they where done.

Overall went very well. They were very prompt in scheduling an appointment to provide an estimate. The dishwasher motor had to be ordered but was in and repaired within a week of initial estimate. Ryan came out to do the repairs and was very nice, clean and professional. I would hire them again for future repairs.

It was the day before Thanksgiving when my refrigerator quit working. I called them and they were there by noon, even though they were supposed to be closed for the holiday. They were able to use a used fan so they didn't charge me full price.

Arrived when promised (1 day after we called them). Quickly & efficiently repaired the items. Left workspace clean. Explained the repair as he performed it, which I appreciate.

The part owner of the company did the job to make sure it was done right.

Very good experience overall. I was concerned about whether it would be a challenge to get the front loading washer fixed properly, but this was fully taken care of by Turner.

The initial date was to estimate or repair the arm on my ice maker. On the first visit the repairman, Danny, who was late for 45 minutes, simply placed another whole in the ice maker and reinserted the arm. This 'repair' worked for two days giving me only 1 tray of ice. I called for another service man and Turner would only send the person who did the original 'repair'. He unplugged the maker which he said was jammed with a cube. He then said I needed another ice maker. Said he would call me in 3 days (a holiday weekend and no ice) with the cost of the new ice maker. I did not receive a call in 3 days. I called on the 4th day and asked the cost. Asked when it would be installed and they said the same day at their convenience. I said at my convenience only. The appointment was scheduled for the afternoon between 2-4. I called at 4:30 inquiring where I stood for the day as Danny was not here yet and was informed that he was finishing up a job and would be here as soon as possible. He arrived at 5:30! There is no excuse for this type of service. Although I am retired and at home and received an apology for being late, this type of scheduling for the working public is not sufficient.

Kevin was here within 30 minutes of my call. He performed the work quickly and efficiently and was on his way.

Called Turner and the receptionist quoted a 35 dollar service fee since it was a Saturday, which was fine since it was an emergency. When Turner Appliance showed up they were there 10 min, told me what was wrong and stated it would be $350. That included a $80 service fee, the labor and the 10 dollar part to make the repair. I asked them how much the part cost again and they said 10 dollars so besides that $10, the labor and service fee was $340. My husband and I were very upset and asked them to leave. They made it very clear they were a part of Angie's List and we said good, so are we and people need to know you are putting service fee quotes in your adds and then charging much more.

They came out and found the problem immediately - a nail was stuck in the wash basin. He also checked the dryer vent to make sure it was not clogged, which it wasn't.

Excellent job. They initially fixed one item but it did not solve the problem. They came back on the weekend to fix the problem; no additional charge.

We had Turner repair a fridge that was not cooling. On Feb 28 they came and "fixed " it. 2 weeks later it stopped cooling again. They sent a different repair technician out this time since the prior guy no longer worked for their company. On the 2nd visit the technician said he didn't know what the other guy had done( as in," what did he do here!?",and was clearly baffled by whatever he saw that had been done...) and went in private to call the owner. They agreed to come back and fix whatever was broken and to not charge me labor the next time. I decided something had not been repaired properly so I canceled their next visit and called a different company. I another company came out( rec. by Maytag) and told me what had been done and it was some sort of quick fix "bypass" on my compressor that would only last a week or so. They replaced the compressor and when I called Turner to talk to the owner about my bad repair, he NEVER returned my call.

We have two homes and they have serviced appliances in both. They have been great to work with. I have been impressed with their honesty, evening telling me there was nothing they needed to do in one instance. I will use them again if needed.

Called on Sat morning- showed up 1.5 hours later- diagnostic problem. Told me they would call to set up a time to have it fixed on Monday. I said it could only be Tues am & requested they use my cell phone. Received message on home phone Sat pm re a time for them to come. I returned the call & left message for them that I requested Tues am. Tues am-no show. Called them & they told me they would check on a motor & call back. No call back. I called Wed & set up appt Sat 8-9am. They called back Thurs am & wanted to fix it that pm. I explained I couldn't take work off and that Sat am was only time for me. I was told I was set for Sat between 8 and 9am. At 9:30am on Sat- no show again- I phoned them and told them to forget it. They asked why- and I explained all that had happened. They called back 2 hours later and said they wanted to send someone out at 12:30-1pm at a discount rate (no mention of what the discount would be). I was unable to be home at that time- so I told them to just forg

This was long drawn-out affair lasting over a week. Parts had to be ordered and return visits were scheduled. I don't know how this could have been avoided. The only complaint that I have is that the technician was scheduled to arrive for the first visit between 4 and 6 p.m. Around 6:45 p.m., the technician called and said he had another repair ahead of mine. I was rescheduled as his first appointment of the day. We ended up buying a new machine because the parts and labor were approaching the cost of a new machine. The lesson learned was that I will pay closer attention to my Consumer Reports ratings next time I buy appliances.

This was the first time I've used Turner Appliance. I called them based on their rating on Angie's List. The person I spoke with to schedule appointment was professional and courteous. After the call, she phoned right back because she had forgotten to tell me of the $69 service charge for coming to my home. I appreciated her effort to make sure I knew all the costs before committing to the visit.

The guy offered to come back if the problem arose again as he had never seen my problem before. They took a pro active approach to problem resolution.

I called Turner Appliance on a Saturday morning to see about someone coming to look at my leaky GE front loading washer. I was worried I would have to wait a week like the other companies had told me, but to my surprise I got a same day appointment without any extra weekend charge. Ron was my technician, he was very helpful and polite. I'm glad he was the one to come because of his experience. He found the problem within a few minutes and it was a great relief that it wasn't anything major.

Turner responded promptly to my request for service on my refrigerator. The repairman came when expected (2 hour window) with a call to say he was on his way. He replaced one part ($200), and refrigerator worked for a week. I called back to say it had broken down again. They came same day, diagnosed a prohibitively expensive repair and recommended I purchase a new one. Unasked, they then refunded the cost of the 1-week old part, and charged me only for one service call. Responsive, fair and honorable!
