Turner Appliance

I contacted several appliance repair companies trying to find a company that would serve my area. I a found a few and choose Turner based on their price given for service call. Service tech was right on time, and the fix was easy, removing a bad and re-securing with glue.

He did a good job, and the pricing seemed very fair.

I called and told the receptionist what the problem was and was told there was a $40 service call. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday and the tech called and was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come earlier. That was great. He found a loose connection in the dishwasher cover panel and was able to remove the cover off the oven light and it was broken. He quickly removed the light bulb "stem" and said it would be cheaper to go to a hardware to get the light bulb. He was there for 25 minutes and the charge was $110.00. I looked at him and he said that he had a minimum labor charge. That would have been nice to know up front. The tech was very courteous and professional.

The technician they was an extremely compitent and nice young man. He explained the problem, went and got the part and came back to fix it. I got great service, their price was fair, and I am very happy with the service I received. I am incredibly happy with how quick, prompt and great the technician was. I will probably never use anyone else to repair an appliance.

Phone operator was not nice. Angies list showed no travel charge and she informed me there would be a travel charge plus $70 an hour. So I asked why would I not call the appliance repair company listed above them that has a cheaper travel charge and she said no reason. So I hung up with her and called the company listed above them! Poor customer service on the phone. They will lose a lot of business this way if they treat customers this way and have the wrong information listed for travel charges on Angies List.

They were very reasonably priced. They were polite on the phone and nice. I was satisfied with the quality of their work.

They repeatedly came back when they were having problems getting it fixed. They did a nice job, but they did have trouble getting the parts in. That wasn't their issue, though.

It is the 10 year time clock ticking and all 3 appliances were new 10 yrs. ago. Each one had a relatively small but growing problem, Turner Appliance showed up when they said they would, were courteous, informative and in less than an hr, serviced all 3 appliances as well as ordered new parts for one. Reasonably priced. I did tell them up front about working on all 3 applianes during one visit and did not charge extra for more than one appliance in the service call. I will have them back.

They were prompt and efficient. They had good prices. They came on Saturday and they finished the job within 10 minutes.

I located Turner Appliance in Angie's List and called for an appointment. They were available the following week at a time that fit my schedule. They requested the make/model of my refrigerator and arrived on time for the appointment. They replaced the ice maker and confirmed it was operational before leaving. Very easy transaction!

He explained the problem, estimated the cost, and let us know that it probably would make more sense to buy a new dryer.

Sunday morning we discovered our freezer portion was frosted up and not allowing either the freezer or refrigerator to work. Unfortunately, we unplugged the unit and allowed it to warm up and then made the phone call to Turner. They would have been able to send someone that day however they need the unit running so that they could do diagnostics on it. Dustin came out first thing Monday morning. He was professional, friendly and courteous. He showed me on the main board of the unit where it had gone bad. He had the part with him and replaced it in a matter of minutes. I would definitely use Turner Appliance again and I would highly recommend them to friends.

Called Saturday morning and had an appointment for Saturday afternoon. Service technician was on time, polite, and knowledgeable. Identified the problem, discussed price and asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair. After agreeing, he fixed the problem and was finished in less than 15 minutes

When I called I let them know the fan switch needed to be replaced but they didn't have bring one on the truck even though I had told them that was the problem. They charged me for two trip charges. The technician was fine and doing what he was told to do.

They were very responsive and fixed the problem. They were also very professional.

Flawlessly, in a professional, courteous and friendly manner. Top notch!

Chad was punctual, knowledgeable and professional. He helped solve the problem and the oven is working better now. I would hire this company again.

They were really great. The gentleman who came out was Ryan. He was very punctual and professional. He was kind and helpful. His price was great, too. He was very quick to come out. He provided a quote before he started the work. He provided a recommendation, which stated what he thought would rectify the problem and if it didn?t work, we could take the next step. He gave the lower price, in order to see whether it would work at that. He had to come back and do the next step. He got the parts. He was very courteous.

They showed up on time. They were very responsive. They had to come back twice, because they had to order parts. They did the work under warranty. They were able to take care of everything. The staff treated me well.

We felt they were very honest when looking at our fridge. They came out promptly and did the repair. We would use them again.

the technician arrived at the pre-arranged time and diagnosed the problem - it needed a new clutch. he said it is a common part but he needed to order it and that it should arrive in a day or two. we provided a check for the deposit and he left (day 1). we called at the end of day 2 and day 3 and were told the part had not arrived. we called again at the end of day 4 and found out that the part DID arrive that day and suggested they SHOULD have called us to set up an appointment. a time was selected to come out and install the part. on day 5 the technician arrived on time and installed the part and appeared to check the machine's operation. he took the balance of the payment and said we were good to go. my wife checked the machine as he was leaving and then ran out to the truck to tell the technician that the socks used in the test were still smelly and soaking wet. he informed my wife that this was due to the fact that he had not done a full spin and left her with the impression there was nothing to worry about. now, nearly 2 weeks since our last "laundry day" we collected all of our dirty laundry and started to work. needless to say we were very disappointed when we got to the end of the first load and realized that the clothes were soaking wet. clearly the machine had not spun to finish the wash cycle - the exact reason why we had called this company in the first place - $233.05 earlier. i promptly called the company and related our findings. saying all of the service folks were done for the day, we agreed on a follow-up appointment for monday, october 12th - day 7. we shall wait and see. meanwhile, the dirty laundry piles up and the story continues...

It was a little pricey, but was warned beforehand, and competitive to other providers. Called and they came out, with the proper glass (not a stock item), the next morning. Very professional, courteous and a great job done. Punctuality was a B because he was a little late after being held up at a previous job (he called from the other job to let me know he was on his way). Overall a great experience and good value for the $$.

They did an outstanding job and I would rate them highly. I would definitely use them in the future.

The ice maker was not working. If we call early in the day, we get service on the same day. It was late when I called. He attended to it on the following day. He worked on the machine. It had been worked on earlier. I was not satisfied with the work done earlier. He changed the IC. The problem was with the computer board which he did not carry in the truck. He had to go back and pick it up. My husband and I were going to be there the following day so we fixed a time. He brought it on the following day and fixed it. His price was very good. That was a single discount.

Turner had a serviceman out the very next day. Turns out the filter was just completely clogged. Not visible to me until he showed me that water would not run through it. That was it. Had to order a the hinge for the washer. Was back in approx 3 days for that repair. Only problem I had was that the dryer vent became disconnected during his repair and he didn't catch it during the test. Walked downstairs into a sauna. Not that big of an issue. A little pricey for a washing the lint filter and throwing a hinge on, but they were prompt and efficient.
