 + -1 moreThe technician performed quality work and completed the repairs in a timely manner. He evaluated the problem, ordered parts, and came back to finish the repairs. The technician did not call ahead as requested on either visit. When scheduling the second visit, the schedule said that he should have made the call. The work was good, I was just disappointed about them not making the call saying that they were on the way.
Description of Work: The timer for washer was not working and belt needed replaced. The technician would checked out the dryer for issues and made the door open the other way.

 + -1 moreI was disappointed to be charged for service and left with the same broken appliance. He didn't even put the cover back on my compressor, but left it laying on the floor.
Description of Work: I called Turner because they are a smaller company with recommended expertise. I have a 1920's Frigidaire that came with the house and had always worked. I specifically asked Turner if they could service such a model. They promised to send the owner on such a special job. He came, and spent 20 minutes to tell me the compressor was broken and that he would try to find another part. Two weeks later I received an invoice that stated part not available. I called back and left messages that were not returned. When I finally got through to ask what else they could do for me, Kevin told me he would have the office schedule another service visit. No one ever returned my call. All I got was a copy of the invoice and a request to please pay the past due bill. So I am out the money and still have a broken refrigerator.

 + 0 moreTurner did not make their first scheduled appointment. Actually they called early and wanted to arrive earlier than scheduled. We eventually scheduled them to come a week later because they seemed quite nice over the phone.

 + -1 moreTim came out at the time expected. He had the part to fix the washing machine right then. My only complaint would be that I made a point to ask them to call my cell phone when they were on their way. They called the home phone. Fortunately my husband was there.

 + -1 moreThey scheduled the wrong technician for my washing machine. The first one didn't do work for my particular washer. So we had to reschedule. The part took about a week and a half to come in (not their fault), but when he came out to repair the washer he was very helpful and gave great advise as to what was causing the valve to go bad.

 + -1 moreWhen I set up the appt, I was told the repairman would be there between 8 & 9. He called at 8:10 to verify I was going to be home and told me he was on his way. He arrived by 8:30. The repairman was a little abrupt, not very friendly. When he arrived, I told him that my husband had already checked the breaker box and replaced the thermal fuse in an attempt to fix the dryer. He barely made any eye contact with me. He looked at the dryer, told me it was the heating element and it would be $178 to fix it. Once I agreed, he was done shortly thereafter. After he left, I discovered he had placed a sticker for his company on the top of my dryer without asking. I do not appreciate this.
Description of Work: My dryer was turning but no heat was coming on. The repairman came out, replaced the heating element.

 + -1 moreThe first time we scheduled they had two hour window, but they never showed up. I reschedule and they have a two hour window, I called at noon, said they were running late, they showed up at 4PM. Everything was great. They repaired the refrigerator and it is working fine now.

Description of Work: KEVIN GREETED ME AND GOT TO WORK. EVERYTHING WORKED ON THE DRYER, BUT THE BELT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HE UNSCREWED TWO SCREWS POPPED OFF THE TOP OPENED THE DRYER AND AGREED ABOUT THE BELT, HE GOT A NEW BELT AND REPLACED IT. IT TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES.

He took the defective element and said he would contact Whirlpool about the problem, saving us a tremendous amount of headaches we would have had with HH Gregg and A & E Service. Description of Work: Tony repaired thermal fuses after dryer didn't work after it was 'repaired' by A & E Factory Service. (see report about them.) He came back 3 times because dryer wouldn't start. It kept shorting out...finally it appeared the heating element from A & E was defective. It blew out the fuses again.

 + -1 moreVery good experience. Prompt return of calls, quick scheduling and excellent follow through on a part that needed to be ordered. I thought the overall cost was a bit steep, but probably par for the course and worthwhile for a good repair experience.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator was not able to keep things as cold as it should and a hinge was broken. Turner diagnosed the problem, replaced Freon and repaired the hinge.

 + -1 moreNot good at first. Office staff apparently misplaced my appointment time and I had to call and ask what happened, but very good after that. Representative was very professional and came quickly after my call. He quickly fixed the dishwasher and explained to me that for what it would cost to fix the dryer, we would be better off buying a new one. Good advice. Price was very reasonable. He only charged me for the call, because of the confusion. Rough start, but overall, I would highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreThey came out twice to try to fix the refrigerator. They found the problem and put in a replacement part but then it broke again, they came out for free they were not able to put it in working order. But I ended up having to buy a new refrigerator. They also worked on my dishwasher and tried to repair the leak, they couldnt find where it was leaking but it doesnt leak anymore. They did their best.
