Outstanding service! Despite modest price, Mike provides high quality service in reasonable time. I have already used the irrigation system for a year before I wrote this review. No problem whatsoever. Mike is absolutely amazing guy, knowledgeable, skillful, very reliable. He now serves our system twice a year for very reasonable price. I am completely satisfied with Mike's performance and I would strongly recommend him to everybody.

Mark Reese is the owner of the company and he, along with his son, provided the work. We already had a parcial irragation system and he was able to add unto that. His bid on the work was very resonable, I did need him to come back to ajust some of the coverage. Mark was sometimes hard to reach on the phone. Overall, I am pleased with the work and he tried hard to accomodate my needs which included a separate type of irragation for the garden. He did not initiciate an appointment to close the irrigation down for Winter. I had to call him and then call again to see if it was done because I was not home at the time he did it. I also asked Mark to come back in the Fall of 2011 to airriate the lawn which he did for a reasonable price.

Courteous prompt and professional from start to finish. Came out same day when I called for a quote. Every time I call, he immediately picked up the phone or called back within minutes! He was able to fit me right in his schedule and work with all my custom requests. Works wonderfully!

Work was well done at a reasonable price. Busy provider that is slower to respond and schedule.

I contacted Mike Rees Fall of 2009 for an estimate to complete the irrigation in our yard. Previosly only a partial system was in the front. In July 2010 I called to ask him to go ahead with the system. He honored the bid of 2009 and begun work first part of August. He did the work himself so it took several days. His 12 year old son accompanied him and was very helpful to him. He truly seems to enjoy working with his Dad. I am pleased with his work and have asked him to return and aerate the yard later this year. By the way, his bid for the work was consiiderably less then a second bid that I had. Our yard is an odd shape with plenty of tree roots so the work was somewhat challenging, add to that, tieing into the old system. I believe that Mike did a good job.

I called Michael as I had some brown spots from lack of water. He installed my sprinkler system 4 or 5 years ago. He opens it in the spring and closed it in the fall. This was the first time that it needed any kind of service. It did take him a few days to get out to me. But, with the heat and the very dry weather I am sure he was swamped beyond belief.

I called Turftec to request an estimate. They said to give them a few days to come out and give an estimate. They never came out and never gave us an estimate.

Overall the job was completed, however there where several observations I made. First, this is a one man operation, which meant that the installation was long, and the ability to have quick turn around was challenging. Also, there was no layout plan of the system given after the installation (a nice to have if you ever need to do additional work in your yard). And no initial project plan of work was ever given in writing. However, these were sacrifices I was willing to accept after it was all said and done in order to save nearly $2800 versus other irrigation installation companies. If you can be patient, don't mind a one man show, then you will find this company to be an adequate and a affordable alternative.

TURFTEC PROVIDED THE BEST PRICE AND WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT. WE PLAYED PHONE TAG FOR A WHILE BUT ONCE WE WERE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE PROJECT, WE FELT COMFORTABLE USING THEM. INSTALLATION TOOK TWO DAYS AND MIKE DID A GOOD JOB OF ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINING THE SYSTEM. WE WOULD HIRE TURFTEC AGAIN.

MR REES NOT ONLY INSTALLED THE PIPE BUT CAME UP WITH A SAFETY BACKUP DISCHARGE VALVE, SHOULD THE PIPE EVER BECOME BLOCKED IN THE FUTURE. HE ALSO POINTED OUT, AND CORRECTED, DRAINAGE PROBLEMS AT GUTTER DOWNSPOUTS ELSEWHERE ON MY HOUSE. HIS DESIGN WAS VERY CAREFUL AND METHODICAL. THE ASSISTANT WHO DID THE INSTALLATION WAS DILIGENT, QUIET, AND CAREFUL OF LANDSCAPING IN MY YARD.

WE SAW OTHER ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS SAY THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND LEFT THE YARD LOOKING GREAT AFTERWARD. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE. THEY CUT THE SOD VERY CLEANLY AND LAID IT BACK IN PLACE PERFECTLY.

MIKE IS GREAT. A NEIGHBOR OF MINE HAD HIM INSTALL A SYSTEM FOR HER LAST YEAR. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. I WAS HAVING A SPOT THAT DID NOT GET WATERED ENOUGH AND HE CAME BACK OUT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS AND PUT ON A BIGGER HEAD. HE IS VERY GOOD AT EXPLAINING HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS AND ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS.
