Description of Work: He installed a ceiling fan on a vaulted ceiling. In doing so, he also discovered an existing problem in the switch that could have cost us quite a bit more money and time. He was professional, punctual, and responsive to phone calls. This was a $79 deal, plus extra that he needed to charge us to get a ladder for the vaulted ceiling and the extra work on the wall switch. Still, it was far less than we would have expected to pay to have this work done, and it was nice to have a professional doing the work.

Description of Work: They didn't do anything - very unreliable. Didn't show up when expected. Didn't properly communicate. Didn't keep their word. Directed me back to Angie's List to try and get my money back. Terrible customer service. Terrible at establishing a schedule. I am still upset about it. Angie's List should not partner with companies such as this. Your credibility is on the line and has gone down in my book. Thankfully I was put in touch with Rickel Electric and Jason was great.

Description of Work: I bought the deal for $79 for 2 hours of electrical work. They repaired the switch on my bathroom fan/light and also replaced my lamp,post light fixture. They came on time and did a great job, quickly.

Description of Work: We had a light over our sink that went out and we couldn't figure out where the wiring went wrong. He found it and was able to get it connected and working again within an hour.

Description of Work: Provider was slow in responding and couldn't remember when he called me that we had just spoken to each other the night before. My impression is that he is sincere, but disorganized.

Description of Work: Tarheel Elect installed a light on the exterior of my home. It was completed in the time estimated and for the estimated cost plus it works like a charm. He was profession, polite and left the area as he found it. I will use Tarheel again! It was a pleasure.

Description of Work: It was a Big Deal for $99 for Two Hours of Electrical Labor. The experience was not good. We asked the gentleman to replace four fluorescent ceiling fixtures with four LED fixtures. He had no clue what he was doing. There were some complications with the fixtures; but he was there for seven hours, for which we paid in addition to the deal, and the fixtures were nowhere near installed. We have had to hire another electrician to do the job.
